Hunter's Hope is a paranormal romance that will enchant readers with the author's pure and genuine characters. Alyssa Day continues to dazzle with her fascinating storylines in her 'Vampire Motorcycle Club' series.
In book 2 of the series, the story centers around Alice and Hunter. Alice is a young woman running an animal shelter. She wears her heart on her sleeves and her kind personality is contagious. Hunter is a newborn vampire still trying to get used to this new life he will be living. When he was a human, he was a firefighter and 'a nice guy'. When the two happen to meet one night, they share a connection. Hunter is craving her and Alice is attracted to him like no other man before.
It's great to see Alice somewhat calm to the news of Hunter being a vampire since she grew up knowing about paranormal beings. This makes it easier for them to form a bond that no one can deny. Since Hunter is a new vampire, he knows that it won't be easy to control himself and his thirst around a human especially a human like Alice. It's easy to love Hunter and I liked that he is upfront about his feelings for Alice. I swooned at his patience with her and his protective nature when it comes to Alice. And Alice seemed to like him even more every moment they spent together. Their strong feelings for one another make them ask themselves the same question. Can you fall in love after only 2 days?
I give Hunter's Hope 5 stars. I truly had a wonderful time reading this book. It is great to see two kind-hearted people meet and fall in love. I think Alice is placed in Hunter's life to help him with his transition. And Alice needed love like Hunter to help her feel worthy of being loved. I am so ready for more and hope there will be more books in this series.
Hunter's Hope by A. Day, published by Entangled Publishing, is the second book in the Vampire Motorcycle Series. The books can be read as stand-alones, for best reading experience I recommend to read the books in order. The previous book, Bane's Choice tells Bane and Ryan's story.
Hunter Evans, a former firefighter is a 3 week old vampire, and he's a tiny bit beitter about his fate. Newly turned, nothing is easy and when his actions bring danger to someone else, he vows to protect her.
Alison Darling is a heroine right after my heart. Witty and fun, with the heart on the right place, she runs an animal shelter and is not new to the pnr world. Lets just say - yay dragon - .
Istarted reading and was thrown right into the story. I loved the main-and the secondary characters - some more, some of them a bit less, and some grew on me. HH is a beautiful story with the right amount of everything, has all that I love in a great book, gave me all the feels.
I liked this book. The only thing that was confusing for me was the switching of the point of views. The book also felt like it dragged at certain points. Ultimately it was a fun read.
Hunter's Hope is a brilliantly superb addition to this fabulous series! It brings much more depth and ethereal beauty to this already incredible storyline. Within these pages, you will fall prey to a love so honest and pure that it will bring you to tears. Nothing is more powerful then hope, and we get a front row seat perspective walking this perilous and harrowing journey. What a joy to experience and savor!
Hunter is trying to feel his way through his new life. He has a whole new life's worth of trials and potential to learn, but he needs more then just training. He needs to listen to his heart. Alice has built a life she loves, but sometimes she feels like something is missing. She pours her life into her animals, but before she knows it, everything changes. Can these two lonely souls find refuge and love with each other, or will the evil closing in around them succeed in taking it all away?
It's truly amazing to see just how good and perfect Hunter and Alice are for each other. The innocent and beautiful Alice is exactly what Hunter needs to sooth his restless beast within, and Hunter is the loving and strong foundation in the midst of the storm that Alice needs to brighten up her world. They are such a beautiful sight to behold!
Alyssa Day is a sensational author who surprises and delights me at every turn with this wickedly exciting series!! I am totally in love with it, and I can't wait to see what happens next! Don't miss out on this stunning new take on Vampire lore and endless love.

Hunter's Hope by Alyssa Day
This is the second book in the authors Vampire Motorcycle series and is Hunter and Alice's story. With this story you have a animal rescue that Alice runs and Hunter is learning how to be a vampire and control his urges while helping Bane, Meara, Edge and the Wolf pack take down The Chamber. But this time it will be Alice who will give them inside on what, where and who the ultimate showdown will be with the Warlocks of the Chamber.
I loved how Alice Darlington is a ghost whisperer (Only on Wednesdays from 11am to 2 pm) who has recently taken in Ferret Bueller, cats, dogs and now a minor demon/dragon Charlie who can be a golden retriever. There will be Werewolves, a Pirate needing help and of course Hunter will realize that Alice is his HEA. I'm hoping that the next book will be Edge and Meara's story as they head to London to take on the Chamber.
WOW! Talking about a great read! I couldn’t put it down. I had to find out what happens to Alice. Loved her minor demon. Ohhhh and Hunter, yum yum. If you like romance, and supernaturals as well as some suspense this book has it all! It will make you smile in places as well!

This was my first book by Alyssa Day, and I liked Hunter's Hope. Hunter was a firefighter, the savior, now he has to learn how to be a vampire and protect his kind and other supernaturals from the bad guys. He has a hard time, he has trouble dealing with what he is capable of. Hunter is getting used to what he is, and meets his mate Alice.
Alice sees ghosts and thinks at first that he is a ghost. Alice is brought into his world not knowing that vampires, werewolves, and other supernaturals are real. Warlocks are after Alice to recapture her so that the head of the group can take her power. Hunter will do whatever he can to protect her.
I liked this book, I did feel like it dragged at times and sometimes I was confused as to what was going on because the book switched point of views. I do think I will go back and read Bane's choice and wait for the next book.
A sweet PNR love story with the perfect ammount of action.
