Thank you Forever and Grand Central Publishing for an advance copy of this book! All opinions are my own.

This book was very fun! It was my first Abby Jimenez book and I definitely will read more of her in the future! I thought the writing was really well done, both Alexis and Daniel had distinctive voices and they felt like real people. The supporting cast was also really great and I could clearly see the world being created. I also thought that the fairytale elements and themes in the story were very well done!

I just wish there was a little more build-up to Alexis and Daniel in the beginning. It felt like they met and the next thing we know, they’re falling for each other. I just wanted a little bit more of them in the start.

How can I begin to review this book. I absolutely loved it, my words will not do this book justice. Please read this book.

It captured my heart. I read it in one sitting.

Please review the triggers for this book before going in, this book deals with physical and emotinal abuse. The editors note at the end regarding her friend had me in tears. What a thoughtfully written and well researched book. I hope this book will not only make your heart soar, but also be helpful if you find yourself needing help.

I love the growth from Alexis. Watching her find her voice made me so proud of her. Daniel is a gem, his heart is so big. The love he has is extrodinary and patient.

The animal refrences had me laughing out loud and pausing to message my friends!! How adorable!! Kevin Bacon and the dog were my favourites!!

This book will grip at your heart in every possible way! Its romantic, and the tension between the two characters is spot on!!

Loved it! Very cute and swoony, with a dash of fairytale magic sprinkled through.

An Aladdin retelling with an age gap thrown into the mix. Alexis is a Montgomery, one of a long line of medical doctors at a prestigious hospital in Minneapolis. A family tradition 125 years in the making!! No pressure there, lol. In all seriousness, her life is not her own, controlled by the fate of her name, her unbending and controlling father, and an ex who refuses to release his hold on her. A chance encounter with a raccoon putting her car in a ditch brings her to Wakan and Daniel.

Perfect hero alert!! Seriously, Daniel was just perfect. That worries me sometimes, like can a hero be too perfect? Honestly, Daniel was just right. Kind hearted, charming, he can cook and he gardens, does wood working with his hands, he has a dog, and kicker, a baby goat in pajamas! He has a "pleaser" personality, probably from growing up in the hospitality world but he seems to get joy from helping and pleasing others because he does have a backbone. He's just a genuinely kind-hearted soul.

You can see where this is going? Their worlds do not align, their lives do not align, he's 10 years younger than her (gasp, lol, no really, you go girl!) Lots of tension and angst to boot because it seems to be an impossible situation.

Perfect romantic read with a dash of comedy thrown in. Run, don't walk, to pick this one up when it releases! Thoroughly enjoyed it and will keep reading everything Abby writes!

Edited to add: There is an abuse storyline, that I felt was done very well.

Wow! Abby has done it again. I could not put this book down and finished it in just a couple days. I love how Abby touches on such important issues in her books and this one was no different. The story is so real (could happen in real life) and I just loved every minute of reading this book. 5 stars!

A huge thank you to Forever Publishing and NetGalley for the advanced copy of this book!

Abby Jimenez is basically my only instant buy author, and this novel only furthers my dedication to this theme. This is the fourth installment in the Friend Zone universe, though definitely strays further away from the previously introduced characters than the other three books. POYW is both opposites-attract and an age-gap romance, with Alexis being Daniel's senior by ten years. She is a doctor, and the daughter of a major medical dynasty, while he is the mayor and doer-of-all-things in a town practically as small as the hospital she works in.
.
What Jimenez does best is mixing comedy with serious topics in all of her books. Please note that domestic abuse and emotional manipulation play a significant role in this book. There are Easter eggs hidden throughout that reference earlier books and characters, but also locations that have significance to the author's real life. I love the way that these things are included in a way that are exciting for readers that have read other Jimenez books, but in no way alienating to those who may be reading their first one. The Friend Zone is my all-time favorite book, and I am so glad to add this one to my bookshelf of recommended reads. The only downfall of getting to read Part of Your World before release day, is it makes the wait for Jimenez's next book even longer!

This was a really sweet (and also spicy) romance. Both main characters are likeable and easy to identify with. The side characters are also great. This was a fast and fun read.

I have been loving Abby Jimenez's books for the past year and this one is truly no exception. This book was such a fun read that brought in all of the things that I love about Jimenez's books. This includes well written characters, steamy romance, as well as tough issues that she deals with with grace and importance.

Notably this book deals with abuse; both emotional and physical and those wanting to read this book should be aware of that before going in.

This book also had one of my favourite things in a romance book; a man who is completely and utterly infatuated by a strong accomplished woman and I really loved the relationship between Alexis and Daniel.

This is such a great book and straddles the line between sweet and serious so well.

Abby Jimenez is an amazing baker and an amazing writer. I cannot read her books fast enough nor are there enough of them. This was no exception!

Alexis is up against a wall with her family expecting her to make miracles happen - literally. She's a doctor. She comes from hospital royalty. She needs to make miracles happen.

Daniel faces his own kind of family expectations, but so very different. He's a descendent from town royalty and the town folk lean on him like I lean on Cherry Pepsi to get me through my day.

When Alexis' car breaks down in Daniel's small town, Alexis is allowed to be whoever she wants to be rather than the royal disappointment she is to her parents. And while her friends have convinced her to stay for the sex, it's her heart that keeps her coming back.

There is nothing about this book I didn't love. The characters are well thought out, their chemistry is more than sexual. There is grit, there is fluff. And there is a way-too-cute baby goat. Need I say more?

Thank you Forever for allowing me to read this! You've made my book dreams come true, yet again!

I truly do not know how Abby Jimenez keeps doing this ... write on a topic that is serious, certainly impacts her readership in one way or another and YET is a compulsive read that I finish in less than 24 hours, all the while laughing, cooing over baby animals, and crying as I try to figure out how the couple will actually get together for their happily-ever-after.

It's utter witchcraft, and I am here for it.

On her way home from a funeral, Alexis accidentally drives into a ditch and is stranded in between Minneapolis and a small touristy town . While waiting on a tow truck, Daniel, local B&B owner and handy carpenter, drives by and offers his assistance. A hysterical bar bet and a delicious grilled cheese later, Alexis is driving home from her first one-night stand ever, convinced that was one of the best nights she's ever had and that she'll never see Daniel again.

And yet ... she can't deny the attraction, and maybe (just maybe?) she took his hoodie and he needs it back? What's a lady to do?

As with any Jimenez story, the heavy is mixed in with the light. The main character tackles verbal and emotional abuse from a previous partner, a secondary character suffers from physical abuse at the hands of her husband, and both Alexis and Daniel are wrestling with difficult parent relationships that have no excellent path forward. It's what makes her stories so absorbing, though, the true human experience as the characters are pursuing a new romantic relationship.

Five out of five, I could not recommend highly enough, with all of the Content and Trigger Warnings for those who need them.

I knew I was going to love this one because I’ve genuinely ADORED Abby’s other books.. but wow. This was darling. I was hesitant of the premise at first, city slicker/ small town romance isn’t exactly new or groundbreaking. BUT the author did and amazing job at making Daniel and Alexis’s lives polar opposite’s and yet their situations and responsibilities so incredibly similar! My heart ached for them both as the novel progressed, and although I found myself yelling “WHY CANT YOU JUST LET YOURSELF BE HAPPY?” Over and over again I wouldn’t trade that character growth for anything!

With themes of depression and physical as well as emotional and mental abuse this one definitely had some heavier feelings as an undercurrent, but they were balanced nicely with quirky characters, a town that feels alive, some divine intervention, and a couple of animals bound to make you smile!

All in all I adored this one and can see myself coming back to it over and over!

Abby Jimenez has such an amazing talent with touching on some serious subjects in a beautiful delicate manner, while also bringing in humor and amazing love stories. Part of Your World was no exception.

In Part of Your World we meet Alexis Montgomery who has just come out of a verbally abusive relationship. She also is having to deal with the expectations of her "famous " family legacy.

Daniel Grant is a part time carpenter. As well as runs a Bed and Breakfast during the tourist season in his small town, where his family has a legacy of their own.

When Daniel helps Alexis get her car out of a ditch these two meet. From there the chemistry is amazing. But they are so different they will never work, or will they?

I loved Alexis and Daniel both as a couple and separately. They were both such amazing characters. I fell in love with the town and many kf the townspeople. This might be one of my favorites of her books so far. I can't wait for more stories from this world.

First and foremost, I'd like to thank Netgalley for a digital copy of this book.

I will read any book Abby Jiminez puts out. This book was just as great as all of her previous ones. Her characters are so likable and relatable, you can't help but develop an attachment to them. I love that she always throws a little humor into her books. It was hard to step away from this book once I started reading it.

The story follows Alexis Montgomery and Daniel Grant, two strangers from completely different worlds that end up falling for each other. Despite how little sense it makes for their worlds to collide, they are head over heels for each other from the very beginning. As a hopeless romantic, this book delivered an ending I loved and brought me so much joy throughout. I highly recommend this book if you want a feel good, witty, sexy, and fun read.

AJ, you've done it again! Already anxiously awaiting the next book.

I was hooked from the first page to the last! Jimenez does an incredible job, as always, weaving her characters together in such a real yet intricate way.

Another book from the Abby Jimenez universe of course this was going to be a hit too! Really enjoyed the characters especially the strong independent female lead. There was some smouldering tension between our heroine and her handsome handy man which simmered throughout the whole book. a great beach read for summer 2022.

I have read and loved all of Abby Jimenez’s books and this one has to be my new favorite. It gave me all the warm fuzzy feelings & left me craving a drive-in movie date in the back of my husbands pickup truck! This book had me laughing and smiling from ear to ear & I was instantly hooked. There are serious topics that are gracefully discussed throughout the book, such as emotional & physical abuse from previous relationships. I fell in love with the characters & the chemistry between Daniel & Alexis was on point. There are mentions of characters from her other books & I recommend you read the others first, but this book can be read as a standalone.

Alexis and Daniel live such different lives from one another. They are literally from different worlds. Alexis is doctor from the city & Daniel is a carpenter from a small town who is almost 10 years younger than she is. Alexis is a very busy woman who has a lot on her plate, she is healing from past relationship trauma & is not looking for anything serious. Especially not with someone younger than her. Daniel lives a much quieter life in his small town, but there is something about Alexis that keeps him invested to pursue her. & It seems as if life wants them to be together at all costs. Will all their differences push them apart, or will they fight for one another & give each other the chance to be part one another’s world?

If you enjoy swoon worthy romances that will tug on your heart strings, & believe in fairy tales, then this one is for you. Also, if you enjoyed her other books you will LOVE this one!

You Can Expect:
* Steamy Romance
* Small Town Hero & Big City Heroine
* New Book Boyfriend
* Unexpected Romance
* Pajama Wearing Baby Goat
* Age Gap Romance
* Opposites Attract

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. Abby is a new author for me-and I discovered her on tiktok. This book actually made me snort with laughter-such great dialogue. I appreciate the sensitive way Jimenez deals with abuse, it was well researched, thoughtful and empowering. I hope that it helps someone or helps a friend of someone experiencing abuse. The characters are immensely likeable. Their emotional baggage added depth to the story. I am looking forward to reading more-and I already downloaded all of her previous books!

This was such an enjoyable read! I loved the meeting of the two characters and really loved the age difference aspect. It’s not something I’ve read recently and I really enjoyed this new plotline.
.
The book was funny, smart, and sad at times. Everything that I love from a romance! Like Abby’s other books, I really enjoyed the dynamic and chemistry between the two characters. I sometimes found that both characters went a bit far with their ideas of how the world and the family/friend dynamic should work but definitely not something that was a huge issue.

I also very much loved all the secondary characters. Learning about Doug, Brian, Liz, and Bri were great and I’m very excited for this series to continue with Bri’s book next! I found her character and her friendship with Alexis to be a great aspect of the book.

If Abby Jimenez writes it, I will drop everything to read it. Once again Jimenez has written a story where the characters sucked me into their world and I didn’t want to leave. I loved how Daniel and Alexis met, the small town vibes and the sense of community. Everyone looked out for each other and you really don’t get that in a big city like New York. I loved the little Easter Eggs throughout the story as well. This story had some heavy themes as far as emotional and physical abuse.

The story also touched on trauma caused by parents and how it can impact us well into adulthood. I loved watching Alexis come into her own throughout this story. I raised my fist in the air when she finally found her voice. Daniel was just everything I love in a book boyfriend sweet, caring and supportive. They both came from different worlds and he didn’t judge Alexis for not knowing how to do simple things and made sure she learned. Did I mention there is a baby goat and adorable hunting dog?

I’m really looking forward to Bri’s book and I have a feeling who her love interest may be and I’m excited to read! Whether this is your first time reading Jimenez or fourth time reading you will finish will a smile on your face.

4 1/2 stars

This was another winner from Abby Jimenez. I loved this book so much. This story was about following your own path no matter what others think and that you should always follow your heart.

You know the story will be great right from the beginning with a hilarious meet-cute! I appreciate how Jimenez again highlights mental health, this time with emotional abuse from a romantic partner. That helps tie-in with the overall message of finding inner strength and acceptance, having a strong support system and finding happiness in the mundane moments. Abby Jimenez doesn’t disappoint, and each book just keeps getting better. Definitely one of my favorites!
