Abby always hits the mark for me, though this is my least favorite of her books so far. It took me longer than usual to finish it.

Abby knocks it out of the park AGAIN. I sat down on the couch at 8pm last night and stayed up until I was finished. Talk about book hangovoer- BUT SO WORTH IT!! Abby's books have such a way of weaving real life struggles with comedy and with love. She has such a gift!!

Part of your world was another knockout for me. Daniel is such a swoonworthy MC and I love how he loves Ali. Ali is a strong woman who knows her worth and I love watching her grow as well. This book's supporting characters were also great and I am so beyond excited to hear move of Bri's story. I cannot wait for Spring 2023!

Overall, I LOVE LOVE LOVED this one and I will recommend to anyone and everyone!!!

4.5/5

I think this is Abby Jimenez’s best novel to date. I was immediately hooked from the first chapter and breezed through this book wishing it would never end. I absolutely adored the two main characters, Daniel and Alexis, and their love for each other. I liked the contrast of Alexis being a city slicker and Daniel being a humble and hardworking country boy who is the heart of his small town in Minnesota.

I also really enjoyed Abby personifying the town and adding just the smallest touches of magic throughout the book. I think giving the town a voice was definitely giving me Disney vibes which I have no complaints with whatsoever. I can see why Abby said she had so much fun writing this book because you can see the added touches of divine intervention sprinkled throughout the story and repeated symbolism I haven’t seen in her previous books.

The topics of domestic violence and the parental pressures Alexis faced throughout the story were written very well. I also appreciate Abby Jimenez putting in the time to research and interview survivors of domestic violence to accurately portray what an abusive relationship looks like and how that affects the person being abused.

My ARC was provided by the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

“Love follows you. It goes where you go. It doesn’t know about social divides or distance or common sense. It doesn’t even stop when the person you love dies. It does what it wants.”

Read if you:
🐐Love Hart of Dixie
🐐Like age gap or forbidden romance tropes
🐐Watch The Princess Bride on repeat

After experiencing emotional abuse from her long-time boyfriend, Neil, and her world-renowned surgeon father, Alexis meets Daniel when she swerves her Mercedes to avoid a raccoon and ends up in a ditch. Sparks fly and they start a casual relationship, but Alexis knows she can’t have a future with a carpenter from a small town who is almost a decade younger than her. She just can’t see any way that he could fit into her world, or she into his.

Part of Your World was not only a sweet love story, but also an anthem to finding the strength to leave abusive relationships and find the freedom that exposing the truth and embracing true love can bring. I love the way Abby was able to address a hard topic through a light rom com, exposing the patterns of abuse but also including elements like a baby goat in pajamas and a coworker spraying vinegar into Neil’s locker so he’d always go home smelling like salad. This was a really charming and feel-good read.

Thanks to Forever for the ARC!

There are so many things to enjoy about this book, but most of all baby goats in pyjamas!!!!!

Part of Your World is an opposite attract, age gap romance where two very different worlds collide.

I’m not usually a fan of age gap, but I thought the author managed it well. Because in the end the almost 10 year difference between the couple didn’t feel like a hurdle. Alexis is a successful city ER physician, and Daniel a skilled carpenter from a small town. It doesn’t sound like a relationship between those two should work, but Daniel gets Alexis in such a way that small town suddenly feels more like home than Alexis’s actual home. And I loved that for her!!!

I also loved it when Daniel and Alexis were together, it felt just RIGHT. They clicked in an effortless way. And rooting for them was a no brainier.

The outside, like friends and family was what made everything so messy.

As expected the author tackles a heavy topic in a realistic and sensitive manner – this time it’s domestic violence. I felt the author, as always, did a great job making it work, by blending such an emotional matter in a way that worked and fit the overall storyline!

And last but not least, a wonderful surprise – there were some magical elements that were unexpected but not unwelcome!!!

Overall the book felt solid from the writing to the characters. And it’s a book I finished easily in one sitting, I actually finish all her books in one sitting. The only issue I have with all of her books is that I never remember much about them when I’m done. Which is really sad, because there is nothing wrong about any of her novels. They are just not that memorable to me.

Nevertheless, her books need to be on everyone’s romance list. And you can be assured that I’ll be reading her next one, which will apparently be about Alexis’s best friend Bri. Sign me up!!!

This rom com was a really sweet, wholesome rom com about two opposites attracting and coming together to create a relationship together even though all the odds are against each other. I really enjoyed this story and I read it super quickly! I really loved the chemistry that the two characters had and could feel their genuine connection. This book also tackles heavier topics like domestic abuse, and going against your parents wishes when making your own life choices. Alexis is going through a very messy divorce throughout the course of this book and her struggle feels so real and authentic because I know so many people go through the same thing in real life. I had some issues with the pacing and dialogue in this book, but overall I thought it was really cute! And I loved the baby goat.

This complete opposites attract on an adorably sexy meet cute had me right from the beginning. I fell in love with the small town, and like the main character Alexis, I kept wanting to come back for more! In true Abby Jimenez style, this romance delivers with all the feels and the heat.

THIS BOOK, MY HEART! Contemporary romance between two people who couldn't be from more different worlds, but have an undeniable attraction nonetheless. Come for the tension, stay for the complex family dynamics and finding-oneself story of a woman coming out from under the thumb of an emotionally abusive parent and (ex-)boyfriend.

Abby Jimenez does it again! Her stories transcend traditional romcoms - they’re still laugh out loud funny and full of so much heart, but there’s always so much more. Covering topics like abuse in relationships and how they can be generational, Part of Your World is no different.

Small town boy super devoted to his big city girlfriend, lovely secondary characters, witty and entertaining dialogue, this has it all. The Insta-love didn’t even bother me because their chemistry was off the charts. I loved the journey of Daniel and Alexis’s relationship.

Thank you, Forever Romance, for the e-arc in exchange for an honest review!

I’m just slapping my head so hard! Why the hell did I wait too long to jump into this MARVELOUS JOURNEY! I’m telling you my friends: this is the BEST ABBY JIMENEZ BOOK! Absolutely her best work!

I cried and laughed so much and sometimes I did it at the same time! The book brings out so many different you buried inside and help you set them free!

A workaholic, responsible ER doctor’s path crosses accidentally with a small town mayor: when her car stuck in a ditch: blame it on mischievous raccoon!

Alexis: coming her ultra wealthy family who are world-renowned surgeons, differentiating her path by becoming an ER doctor. At age 37, she suffered enough from emotional, verbal, physical abuse of her ex and her own family.

By a car accident, she finds herself in a small town Wakanda forever ( okay, I wrote it to check if you are still reading me!) correct name is : Wakan.
Daniel: who saves Alexis from ditch, caring sweetheart and definitely dreamy book boyfriend! Yeap, he’s younger than her, mayor of town, efficient carpenter, running her grandparents’ B&B. The guy checks all the boxes! I don’t know how Abby Jimenez creates the best hero characters in her books. Each one of them are exceptional. And luckily this time Alexis is also easy to roof for with her resilience, honesty, genuineness.

As long as Alexis spends her time in that small town, taking a break for her responsibilities, extra busy schedule, burdens from past, she realizes she can find the happiness at a place with a man she never imagined before.

I have to admit some parts of the book truly hurt me: reading about traumatic experience Alexis has been through was really painful. I got so sad, angry, heartbroken. The angsty part was truly realistic, hard to digest!

But like a sun coming out of the clouds: the sweet and promising love story of the book warmed my heart!

I love this book so much! I am absolutely giving my five small town, amazingly adorable hero, second chances, emotional stars!

Special thanks to NetGalley and Forever ( Grand Central Publishing) for sharing this amazing digital reviewer copy with me in exchange my honest opinions.

This romance was perfection. Daniel was the perfect leading man. His character was so easy to fall in love with. I could relate to so many things about Alexis. Sometimes I felt like the author was reading my mind.

This was my first read of Abby Jimenez and it definitely won’t be my last!

Abby Jimenez is very talented. While I do not think this is my favorite of her works and I do think it is really well done. The physical and emotional abuse is hard to read, but I appreciated it.

When Alexis runs her car off the road in middle-of-nowhere Minnesota, the last thing she expects is to fall for the small town mayor who pulls her car out of the ditch. Daniel is a decade younger, covered in tattoos, and is ridiculously hot. She is a big city doctor, medical royalty, and fresh off a breakup. Alexis knows their relationship can only be a short term fling - he doesn’t fit in her world, and she can’t leave her family legacy behind.

I loved this! I could not stop reading and was up way past my bedtime finishing this. I loved the meet cute, and Daniel is a top notch book boyfriend. Alexis was fresh off a breakup, and the book talks about the hard issues without feeling too heavy. Wakan is a small town you want to live in, and I loved its residents. (There are so many secondary characters that I would love to see be main characters in future books!) I will say I got frustrated with Alexis at times because I feel like she took Daniel for granted. Again, Daniel and his hoodies are TOP NOTCH. I also loved Abby Jimenez’s shoutout to her real life bakery, Nadia Cakes. #freeadvertising

Thanks to Forever (Grand Central Publishing) and NetGalley for the advanced reader copy. Part of Your World is out 4/19/2022. (I waited as long as I could stand it!)

This book follows the story of Daniel and Alexis. I absolutely loved the book I gave it 5/5 stars. This romance is very different from ones I have read before. The character development in this book is amazing and I have notice that is a trend with this author. I truly can't wait for others to read!

All you need to know about this book:

•Big city female doctor with a legacy to uphold.
•Small town sexy man with a beard.
•Baby goat wearing pajamas.

Okay, okay… I’ll give you a little more than that:

Picking up this book was like a conversation with a great friend. Just like all of her other books, it flowed with ease, made me laugh, then cry and left me feeling… happy. As always, the character development was perfection and I easily felt connected to Alexis and Daniel. Chefs kiss, 10/10, would recommend this and every other one of her books.

CW: domestic abuse (physical and emotional)

`3.5 stars

This was charming. I really appreciate how Jimenez writes captivating stories with characters you root for. With that being said, while I enjoyed this and was SO excited to have an ARC, it didn't fully live up to my expectations.

There were so many things I loved: the small town atmosphere, Daniel, all of the animals, and Alexis' character growth. Looking back, there really isn't much that didn't work for me. There was just something missing.

A few magical moments (lightning strikes, dragonflies, flowers blooming) added to the small town atmosphere with their specific timing. While I looooved that aspect, there weren't enough to make it feel fully intentional. Jimenez could have had the town be its own character and used those magical moments to punctuate the good and the bad on a whole other level. I think having the magic be over-the-top would have been beneficial.

I found out after reading, when I skimmed the Q&A section, that the author wrote in a few Disney nods. As a huge Disney fan and with the title of the book being what it is, I don't know how I missed them. I think they could have been made more obvious especially because it's being marketed as a "modern fairy tale". Maybe I'm just too oblivious.

I did really enjoy this. There was important commentary about both physical and emotional abuse. While Alexis' growth was occasionally frustrating, it was so important to learn with her and understand why she made certain decisions.

I'm looking forward to reading Bri's story next and hope we get reunited with the charming town and characters!

Part Of Your World is one of my most-anticipated reads for 2022 (out 4/19), and I'm so glad I read it yesterday!

This book had everything— a beautiful love story, witty banter, wonderful secondary characters that I was also rooting for, and enough emotion to make me sob throughout most of it 😭

I don’t even know where to begin in explaining why I loved this book, but I think I’ll dare to say it’s my favorite in this book series 😳 (and I didn’t even listen to the audio, like with the first 3 books; that’s how much I loved it).

This book covers some pretty heavy topics, such as emotional and physical abuse. Both between partners and parents/children. It was difficult to read what Alexis was going through at times. I resonated a lot with her relationship between her parents, and that’s probably why I cried so much.

And the ending was *chef’s kiss* ☺️

This is a hard read, but it was worth every second!

Huge, huge thanks to @netgalley and @readforeverpub for the #gifted e-ARC!

Funny thing, I'm reading the new novel by Emily Henry called Book Lovers where the premise is how a rom-com trope is for two people from different worlds fall in love with each other. I have read so many romance novels with this as the premise but somehow I didn't realize how often it happens. This novel is exactly that story and I'd like to say that there is something remarkable about how it is executed but it followed convention pretty closely.

I don't like to nitpick too greatly with my romance reading because I honest with myself that I am reading for the distraction and the enjoyment. I don't need my reading to heighten my existence, I just need it to entertain. This did that. I liked that characters and when they got themselves mired up in their own indecision and circumstances, I trusted that it would work out in the end. I could see the tidy conclusion coming from miles away and despite knowing it was fun going along for the ride.

This wasn't Jimenez's finest work. She was far more witty and engaging in her other books but this was still a decent read. Hoping for more of that wit in the next one.

Abby Jimenez has done it again! I LOVED Part of Your World. This is the story of an unconventional pairing- sophisticated city-girl Alexis and ridiculously hot and ten years younger carpenter- Daniel. The two have smoking hot chemistry, but absolutely nothing else in common.

Jimenez does a great job mixing serious topics with light hearted comedy and fun. In this book, she tackles emotional and physical abuse and gas lighting. The characters are likable, their interactions are fun, and I enjoyed the settings.

This would shouldn’t be missed! Five stars!

I was fortunate enough to review this Advance Reader Copy courtesy of Abby Jimenez and NetGalley, but all opinions are my own. Part of Your World publishes April 19, 2022. #PartofYourWorld #NetGalley

Abby Jimenez is one of the greatest Romance authors of our time. She captivates your heart from the get go. Her books will make you laugh out loud, cry, grow anxious and eager to keep turning the pages to see how the story will end. Part of You World, had it all and is a great addition to her already stellar collection of titles. As the story unfolds you are emotionally torn between our heroine's two worlds right alongside of her. I could not put this book down from the moment that I opened it. Highly recommend to all the hopeless romantics out there!
