Thank you so much for gifting me this ebook ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Review: I loved this book! It’ was so sweet and cute. I really loved Alex and could relate to her a lot. And Daniel was the absolute perfect book boyfriend! Their chemistry was off the charts and I loved seeing their emotional connection develop and grow through the book. I also thought it was cool how in this book, the women has a higher earning job then the man, when a lot of times in books and even in real life it’s the other way around. It was interesting to see the challenges of dating someone who’s class/wealth is different then theirs, and how family fits into the equation. Overall an absolutely wonderful romance book! Thank you again for gifting me this ARC!

There is just something about Abby’s writing that works for me. Each new book of hers becomes my new favourite.

I went back to look at my reviews for her other three books and I have to share this because it’s so funny. Every single review I said “Josh/Jason/Adrian is the ULTIMATE book boyfriend” ….and while clearly I need to become more creative in my review writing 😅- DANIEL IS THE ultimate ULTIMATE BOOK BOYFRIEND. I mean it - find me a more perfect man - he’s kind, loving, sweet and loyal -just complete perfection.

I loved every single thing about this book, but here’s a few things that standout to me:
-the small town of Wakan and ALL of the people in it
-the 10 year age difference between Daniel and Alexis
-baby goat - enough said
-the lifestyle differences between the two main characters - small town jack-of-all-trades meets city girl, ER doctor
-rom com with depth. It’s funny, witty and steamy, but also has a focus on toxic and unhealthy relationships and is handled with care

ABSOLUTE PERFECTION. 5⭐️

I will be rereading this when I get the paperback. Get your pre-orders in for April 19!

There were so many amazing thigs about this book I don't know where to start. Abby Jimenez just has a gift for immersing the reader into the minds of her main characters. I loved the character growth & journey that Alexis went through. The parts about dealing with a toxic parent really spoke to me. Not to mention all the signs of trauma, enabling, & the bits of Liz's journey through domestic violence. Daniel was such an amazing person, partner & friend I couldn't help falling in love with him too. This book is equal parts heartbreaking & hopeful. It was amazing!

Like all of Abby's previous books, this is a great romcom with some harder-hitting topics/emotions.

The rich girl poor boy/ different worlds aren't one of my favourite romance tropes, so I will admit I was not super into the we don't fit together and never will argument.
But there were some really good discussions about abuse(as much as it's hard to read I think Abby was very sensitive). And legacy. And being yourself.
I really liked both Ali and Daniel. And the whole town of Wakan. And the animals. And of course Bri.
Chemistry in all ways is never a problem with Abby's couples. I love how Ali and Daniel build up their relationship by getting to know each other through long phone calls. I love that Ali is my age and we can still get ours(even when our 20s are a little further in the mirror than we like).
It's so easy to eat up this book in a night. A day. It's compelling and fun and romantic and emotional.
Can't wait to see who Bri gets with next year!

Get ready to fall in love with Abby Jimenez’s latest book Part of Your World.

After a wild bet, gourmet grilled-cheese sandwich, and cuddles with a baby goat, Alexis Montgomery has had her world turned upside down. The cause: Daniel Grant, a ridiculously hot carpenter who’s ten years younger than her and as casual as they come—the complete opposite of sophisticated city-girl Alexis. And yet their chemistry is undeniable.

While her ultra-wealthy parents want her to carry on the family legacy of world-renowned surgeons, Alexis doesn’t need glory or fame. She’s fine with being a “mere” ER doctor. And every minute she spends with Daniel and the tight-knit town where he lives, she’s discovering just what’s really important. Yet letting their relationship become anything more than a short-term fling would mean turning her back on her family and giving up the opportunity to help thousands of people.

Bringing Daniel into her world is impossible, and yet she can’t just give up the joy she’s found with him either. With so many differences between them, how can Alexis possibly choose between her world and his?

All I have to say is that Abby did it again. Part of Your World is just so freaking amazing, and I ended up re-reading again right away. This book is the fourth installment in The Friends Zone series, and it can be read as a stand-alone. Fans of the series will be happy to know that there are some cameos or mentions of characters from previous books. I love that Abby includes these cameos; it adds extra excitement for me because I get to see the characters that I love so much again.

I cannot think of one thing that I did not enjoy about this book. Abby has this magical talent of always giving her readers everything they could want in a rom-com novel. Part of Your World has laughter, witty banter, spice, quirky characters, and heart. One of the other things that I love about this series is that each book is fresh and exciting, and as a reader, I don't feel like the series is dragging on. Even though this is a rom-com series, Abby's books often center around a more serious issue. For example, book one focused on women's health, two on grief, and three on addiction issues. Part of Your World deals with abuse, both physical and emotional. Abby really shows her readers how abuse can take many different forms and that leaving an abusive relationship is not easy. In this book, Alexis comes out of an emotionally abusive relationship with a guy who doesn't want their relationship to end. Throughout this book, readers get to see as Alexis realizes how her ex's actions have warped how she thinks and views herself. Alexis also realizes that her relationship with her father is emotionally abusive, and her mom is his enabler. Coming to terms with this is not easy for Alexis. I really like how Abby showed that emotional abuse is just as damaging as physical abuse to a person.

Even though the topic of abuse was woven throughout the story, there is still plenty of romance and light and fluffy moments in this book. I just adore Alexis and Daniel as a couple. Their romance is all about the opposites attract, insta-love tropes. On the surface, these two could not be more different. Alexis is a well-educated ER doctor who lives in the big city, and Daniel runs a B&B in a small town and does carpentry on the side. Alexis is rich, and Daniel is not. Alexis is also ten years older than Daniel. Even though they have so many differences, they are the same when it comes to the stuff that matters. Both are kind-hearted, giving, and only want to help the people around them. Their souls really do call out to each other. I really believe that they are soul-mates (if you believe in such a thing, which I do).

Once again, Abby has created a book boyfriend that I can't help but fall head over heels for. Daniel is just so damn amazing, and I love how he treats Alexis. He puts so much thought and love into the time that he spends with her, and the fact that he went out to find a heart-shaped pebble to give to her (like penguins do for their mates) just melted my heart. I thought I would have a harder time getting on board with the age difference between these two. I hate to admit this, but I’m not a huge fan of the women being older than the guy in a relationship. I don't know why. It's just a major turn-off for me. But Daniel is such a fantastic guy, and the chemistry between these two was apparent that I really stopped thinking about the age difference as I read.

There was one message from this book that stood out for me and is still in my mind, and that is, "grace costs you nothing." It had me thinking about how everyone in our world is so short-tempered with people and stressed because of COVID. I know I am guilty of getting huffy in a store or being short with family. Since reading this book, I have been using the "grace, costs you not
hing" mantra in my head when I wake up in the morning, go out to the shop, or when I deal with someone who is being difficult. So I just want to thank you, Abby, for reminding me that kindness and grace are free and something I should be sharing with those around me.

Part of Your World is a rom-com that is tender, sexy, and oh so much fun!

Thank you, Forever for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I loved this mature woman romance with a mature and grounded younger man! Abby always brings it with her sexy and realistic contemporary romances.

I was very excited for this book. Sadly, it was a let down.

While I did love Daniel, I really really did not like Alexis. She came across as really mean to Daniel.

Repeatedly, she disrespected him. She would text him “pretend you don’t know me” or she would be embarrassed of him because he wasn’t as educated as she was.

It felt very icky to me-which makes me sad because I loved all 3 previous books.

Also, I just am not a fan of the trope “I’ll sleep with you, but nothing else.” Is that a trope? If so, I’m not the fan.

That being said, I still love Abby, and I will not hesitate to read on in the series. Bri gets her book next time, and I truly enjoyed her. I’m excited for that.

Abby Jimenez has written another masterpiece!
Alexis and Daniel are from 2 different worlds. After Daniel rescues her when she has car trouble, their one-night stand turns into MUCH more but how can they make it work?

I smiled and laughed SO MUCH while reading this! She writes witty banter like no other.
The analogies she used to compare the feelings of LOVE were so heartwarming. It takes us through the feelings of hopeless, nonnegotiable love.

There were SO. MANY. GOOD. ONE-LINERS.
But more than humor, there’s also the heavy, sensitive matter of domestic violence, depicted through physical, verbal and emotional abuse. It is handled in such a respectable way. The characters are so lovable (except for a couple of the men in Alexis’ life) and she really captures the charm of the small town through her descriptive writing.

Our protagonist, Alexis is an ER doctor so you know I was sold from the jump! There’s a small look into the emergency department world so she already had my attention. The friendships are ones I’d love to have myself. There’s a scene that involves Alexis, her best friend Bri, and tequila, and I was laughing out loud all while sending pictures of the scene to my sisters (it’s totally US and things we’d say.)

There are little tidbits from Disney fairytales sprinkled in and you have to look close to see them.

I absolutely adored this story and look forward to her next book with Bri’s POV!

Thank you NetGalley and Forever Pub for the opportunity to read and review this book!

It’s no surprise for me to say that Abby Jiménez is one of my favorite authors. From her very first book, The Friend Zone, there’s just something about her writing, her prose, and the way she cultivates a sentence. It just resonates and sticks with you. Her latest addition, Part of your world, is nothing short of wonderful. From the meet-cute between Alexis and Daniel - to the town locals - to the setting - to the ever-present and hilarious animals that occupy the spaces between the pages. All these things just work together to make a beautiful story. One that you won’t be able to put down until you've reached the final chapter. Everything about this is new, different, and fresh. Even though it is a trope that many people have read before there’s just something about the way it’s written and the way her characters interact that make it amazing. From different worlds comes a perfect match. Because we all know when it comes to the heart all things are possible. I loved everything about this. Releasing April 19 I hope you pre-order and love it just as much as I do!

Well, unpopular opinion- I wasn’t wowed by this book. Did I like it? Yes. But I was also kind of bored through most of it.

When I think Abby Jimenez books, I want them to be like The Friend Zone or Happy Ever After Playlist. I want a lot of stuff to happen and I need to feel emotionally connected to the characters. And sadly, with this one, I didn’t feel connected to Alexis or Daniel.

There were a few things that I loved though. I did love that our heroine was a doctor who was kicking butt in her field. And I loved that the hero was the one who ran the bed and breakfast. I feel like it’s easier for the roles to be reversed to make the man more powerful but Abby did a great job writing it this way.

I also loved all the animals- a baby goat and a dog named Hunter. I’m sold. The animals are always one of my favorite parts of Abby’s books.

So many people have read the ARC and absolutely loved this book. I’m just an outlier and that’s okay sometimes. I still recommend the book if you are an Abby fan.

4.5 Rounded Up. Abby Jimenez is becoming my favorite author - definitely an auto-buy for me. She is so good at writing banter and I love it. This wasn't my favorite of hers but only because the bar is so high. Life's Too Short was my favorite book of 2021. This was still a solid read and rom-com that I really enjoyed (I think my high expectations kept it from getting a solid 5 starts because LTS was just so amazing).

This book was reminiscent of a Hallmark movie. A really cute meet cute and two different worlds colliding. But thats where the similarities end because this had so much more.

Alexis comes from a wealthy family, world renowned surgeons and she is in the family business. For 125 years, someone from her family has worked at her hospital. It's a lot of pressure for her as an ER doctor. Daniel is from a completely different world. As a carpenter with a complicated family, the house he grew up in is in jeopardy unless he can raise the money to save it. Alexis and Daniel first meeting is really cute but I loved their second encounter.

There is a trigger warning for abuse - both emotional and physical. This book deals with heavy subjects but the author handles it with care. This book also has the woman older by 10 years and that's something you don't see often! I'm not a huge fan of the age gap but in this instance I was all for it! This book also had a baby goat in pajamas so you know you can't go wrong!

Thank you to the publisher for an advanced copy. Opinions are my own.

For my final book of the year, I chose to read one from one of my favorite writers, Abby Jimenez, even though her newest book is not out until April. Part Of Your World is a lovely romance featuring insta-love (not my favorite) and an age gap in which the woman is 10 years older than the man. The two worlds that Daniel and Alexis are from really seem to be in conflict with one another. However, it was pretty obvious that Alexis needed to leave the world of her emotionally abusive parents and ex-husband! While Alexis is 10 years older than Daniel and in her late 30s, she seemed to act a lot younger to me, which is likely a result of her upbringing. I appreciated the author’s note and question and answer section at the end. This book also contained a small magical element regarding Daniel’s town and the bed and breakfast that he owns and I thought that was a fun edition to this book!

The short and sweet? I am in love with this book! And as a picky romance reader, this is high praise.

I requested a copy from NetGalley on a whim, not having read Jimenez's work before, but wanting desperately to get to her backlist based on a friends' adamant recommendation, and after reading Part of Your World, I am immediately purchasing her other works as soon as I am able.

First, it is important to note some TW for spousal and parental abuse (physical and mental/emotional). I did not feel that any representation of these were displayed to graphic extents, but they also weren't just mentioned. Abuse is a pretty constant theme throughout. So if this would be a big trigger for you, please tread cautiously and protect your mental health.

With that said, I felt that Jimenez did an amazing job at incorporating this very difficult topic into this story and giving hope/direction to those readers who may be or have experienced this in their own lives. Despite experiencing abuse, the main character Alexis was so strong. I appreciate the author writing Alexis' story during a time where the character was healing and coming out of the abuse. It was even more impactful when portrayal of physical spousal abuse was presented. Often times mental abuse can be overshadowed because "someone has it worse than me" but by showing both, I felt that it made a stronger case for just how real mental abuse is to the victim.

Okay, on to the fluff! Daniel is everything. I am OBSESSED. He was just so charming, and so sweet, and the absolute perfect book boyfriend. Gave me some serious Aiden from SATC vibes and I am not upset about that. The issues that Daniel and Alexis had were real and believable. They weren't inflated for drama's sake. Nothing was overplayed. And I absolutely came to life for the tragic love story of it all! Very, Bridges of Madison County/The Notebook, and we're available for it. While ultimately as a romance, the HEA was expected, I was kept guessing as to the direction the story was going to take while getting there and multiple times I audibly gasped at characters' actions (the trip advisor review - I am still angry at those 'friends'). The story was funny, the side characters were precious, and I loved the magic of the town! Brought us full circle to the Disney-ness of it all, leaning on the book's roots that the title portrays.

My only critique? I wanted more Chloe. A baby goat in pink pajamas? Yes, please.

Oh you guys, I adore all of Abby’s books. I was so excited to get approved to read this one early. Abby has a way with her writing that grabs you and holds you in. This book was no different.

I love how the two main characters were so opposite. Daniel was just so sweet and caring. I adored him. I also love how strong willed Alexis was. The age gap was well written and well done. I also felt that even though Alexis and Daniel were so opposite, they also just worked.

Abby is so good at incorporating tough subjects in to her books but doing it with a lot of taste. You can tell the work that she puts in to researching the subjects she writes about.

My bar is set high with Abby’s books. I don’t think I loved this one as much as her other three unfortunately. I think maybe it was the lack of build up for the romance. That being said, this was still a solid 4 star read for me.

I still recommend you preorder this one.

Thank you to Forever Publishing and NetGalley for the E-ARC in exchange for a review.

I always say at the end of each of Abby Jimenez’s books that the next one can’t possibly be better than this one. And every time it is. Part of Your World made me have all the feels - I laughed, cried and just loved the slow build of Alexis and Daniel’s relationship. Abby takes such care in building realistic characters, situations and of course bringing older characters back for a visit is always a nice touch. You won’t regret reading this book. I can’t wait for the next one!

This book pulled at all of my heart strings, it's the first book of the year that had me sobbing😭😭

This was one of my most anticipated reads of 2022, and being an Abby Jimenez fan, I couldn't wait to pick it up! This book was not what I expected it to be when I first picked it up, in a good way.

In true Abby Jimenez form, this book was everything I want in an emotional, passionately written romance that deals with a heavy but important topic. In this book's case, it's toxic relationships and domestic abuse. It's not easy reading this, let alone writing about it, so I commend Abby immensely for how she portrayed the information and how she dealt with the sensitivity of the subjects. It left me emotional, it was thought provoking, and it raised awareness of an important issue.

I definitely recommend this book, just as I recommend Abby's previous books as well, even if it is more emotional from the subject matter, it's the beauty of this book! It's emotional, passionate, and real.

Check TWs friends!

Abby Jimenez strikes again in her new book about two very different worlds colliding. Alexis is a successful ER doctor with huge familial obligations to uphold the family legacy. Daniel is the mayor of small town Wakan and a jack of many trades - carpenter, bed and breakfast owner, animal sanctuary. One night they meet and cannot get enough of each other. Will their love be enough to be together? Or will all of their obligations and differing ways of life be too much to overcome?

Once I picked up this book, I had to finish it as soon as possible and I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Although I appreciated Alexis’s character, Daniel carried the story ON HIS BACK. I was just so enchanted by him that I just wanted to keep reading so I could see how amazing and wonderful he is. Another thing I loved about this book was how Abby Jimenez dealt with the many forms of abuse. As someone who was in an abusive relationship, I felt like she was sensitive and showed the many sides and faces abuse has AND the emotional repercussions it has.

If you liked The Friend Zone series and are hoping for more like it, then you won’t be disappointed!

My thanks to NetGalley for making an eARC copy of this book available to me.

Another great book by this author. Two very likeable characters discovering the difficulties of developing a relationship with someone who is very much out of their regular economic and social worlds. Throw in a good number of cute (and cutely named) animals, great food descriptions, and a mix of both wonderful and awful family dynamics, and you've got a book that is well worth your time. Just be wary of possible triggering events including spousal abuse and emotional manipulation by family members.

I have always liked the author’s work and there was no ounce of doubt within me about this one too, but wow this one blew me. It was honestly so good, I couldn’t put it down till I was done with it. Not only the the romance, banter and the angst swept me right off my feet but also the MCs. They were adorable, relatable and entertaining.
