What a whirlwind romance! There is steam, but I found it interesting that their love story also managed to feel so..innocent? Maybe because they both felt insecure for various reasons and it reminded me of teenage puppy love a bit(in a good way). I appreciated that we get both his and hers narratives, and we see them grow and learn from each other consistently. The puppy love feelings start with them being in awe of each other in how different they are.. but they mature together in introducing each other to new things in a supportive way that doesn't feel judgmental. Also-a baby goat in pajamas?!😍Fans of the city girl/country boy trope of Sweet Home Alabama and the small town atmosphere of Gilmore Girls will especially enjoy this one! Release Date 4/19/22.

Do yourself a favor and preorder this book right this instant! First, I want to express how absolutely over-the-moon I was to get an e-ARC of Abby Jimenez’s new book “Part of Your World”. In my opinion, Abby’s books are the creme de la creme when it comes to rom-coms and “Part of Your World” did not disappoint. This book was jammed back with so much amazingness. I want to first talk about the emotions Abby captured — WOW! I laughed out loud, I teared up at more than one scene, and boy did I blush. This book is spicy 🥵 the chemistry between Alexis and Daniel is OFF THE CHARTS from the very beginning. But beyond the heat, the two are so tender with one another. I could really *feel* the love developing as the story went on.

Abby handles some really difficult topics in this book in a tasteful way. You could tell she did her research and was sensitive to the subject of domestic abuse. I think the emotional depth of this novel surpasses all of her other books. When I was done I immediately wanted to reread, which I will 100% be doing when it hits shelves April 19!

Thank you so much to Forever and NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for my honest review. #PartofYourWorld #NetGalley

Honestly, I requested this book before I even read the blurb because I saw that Abby Jimenez is the author. This is my second book of hers and it is just as great as the first.

Daniel and Alexis are polar opposites, he's a small-town boy and she's a rich-city girl. Despite their differences, they both have a family legacy in their respective towns and their instant connection is brilliant. Daniel is the absolute sweetest hero I have ever read about and I love him.

This book tackled so many important issues but it also contained the perfect amount of humour to balance it out. Overall, this book was incredibly well-written and I recommend it!

I discovered Abby Jimenez about a year ago, and I have devoured her entire catalogue since that time. Her newest offering does not disappoint.

Part Of Your World is the story of Alexis and Daniel, two people who are separated by age, class, and distance. Yet, when the two have a chance encounter, the attraction is immediate, and it doesn't take long for them to grow into something much more than a physical relationship.

However, Alexis is dealing with familial pressure to achieve and continue a legacy plus an abusive ex along with snobbish and incredibly unlikable friends. All of this combined causes her to keep Daniel at arms' length.

This book does what Jimenez does best-it tells a story that explores hard and painful topics while keeping the lighthearted and fun love story at its center. I will continue to read everything she puts out!

I absolutely adored this book! I have never rooted for a couple more. This book did such a great job of connecting two opposite worlds and making yourself question what is truly important in life and what your priorities need to be. Highly recommend this one!

Holy moly! This might be my favorite Abby Jimenez book, but then again, I might have said that about every book that she’s written. I absolutely loved Part of Your World from the beginning to the end. Abby always gives us characters that we can all relate to. Some of the subjects aren’t always easy to read about, but they are real and issues that many people go through.

From Alexis’ and Daniels first encounter, I knew that that wouldn’t be the end of them. Their lives were completely different, but in the end that didn’t matter to them. Their journey at a HEA was worth the emotional rollercoaster. I absolutely recommend Part of Your World and look forward to the next book that Abby writes.

I really enjoyed reading this rom-com and especially loved the slickness sprinkled in. I love an age gap and with this having the heroine being older made me so happy. The fairytale references were a nice surprise as well. I loved Abby’s other books and know this will do well when it is released.

Alexis Montgomery is driving home from the funeral (of a relative she doesn’t even know) when her car gets stuck in a ditch if a remote town. When the handsome Mayor of the town Daniel offers to tow her out, Alexis is hesitant but relents. After Daniel’s buddies place a wild bet, he ends up taking her home for a grilled cheese sandwich. A real connection is formed, and fancy city girl Alexis finds herself thinking about the rugged B&B owner more often then not. Alexis is fully aware that their worlds will never meld together. She is a wealthy ER Doctor in a renowned hospital with a family name she’s expected to live up to, and a father who would never approve. Daniel is struggling to keep up with mortgage payments for the B&B in the off season, and a carpenter in his free time. When everything is put on the line, how will they decide what their true priorities are?

This is the first Abby Jimenez book I’ve read and I absolutely adored it! I’ve heard raving reviews and was so glad I was able to read an advanced copy! I will definitely be purchasing this for my shelf. I loved the Big City Girl meets Small Town Country Boy, I loved their banter and how their worlds collided. There were some laugh out loud moments (hello Kevin Bacon the pig), but there were also definite serious moments. Jimenez portrayal of abuse was done so lovingly and thoughtfully in my opinion.

I also adored the side characters, I especially adored Bri! Every girl deserves to have a best friend like her! I was excited to find there is a book about Bri coming out in 2023! And Doug had me laughing so hard with his guitar serenades! Hunter the dog was the sweetest, I loved how much he adored Alexis.

Thank you so much @readforeverpub for the advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Pub date is April 19, 2022 so be sure to watch for this one!

Abby Jimenez has a real knack for writing a really good emotional book that makes you laugh and cry. This one was so so good and I didn't want to put it down. Alexis and Daniel were both SUCH good characters! The small town was super cozy, the writing is superb, and there are so many fun animals!

Thank you so much to Net Galley for providing me an ARC of this book. Abby Jimenez has done it again with likable characters and a great plot line. She tells a sweet love story while also including an extremely important message for so many people. I can’t wait to see these characters pop up again in a later book!

I have been a fan of Abby's since "The Friend Zone". She writes the best characters and her stories are relatable and down to earth and still manage to touch on topic that many people are struggling with in their lives. I just finished up "Part of Your World" and it might just be my favorite of her books so far.

Alexis Montgomery belongs to a family with a long history in the medical profession. Her doing anything except following in that path is not allowed. Although this doesn't make Alexis all that happy she has never questioned it. because she enjoys saving lives and helping people. Until she ends up in the ditch on the way back from a funeral and meets Daniel--someone who is her opposite in every possible way on the surface. Daniel makes her question her career, whether her relationship with her ex and her parents is abusive (not all abuse is physical), and whether she is allowed to live her life in way that makes her happy instead of everyone else happy.

The relationship between Daniel and Alexis grows and they both try to figure out how to be part of each other's world when their worlds are so different. Can they find a way to make it work or is the relationship doomed?

Part of Your World is Abby Jimenez’s fourth book, and it has become my new favorite. Part of why I enjoy Abby’s books so much is that her characters are genuine and relatable, and Daniel and Alexis quickly worked their way into my heart! I can always count on Abby for a great meet-cute, adorable animals, and fun hijinks! And while this is a romance novel, the theme of family legacy and the struggle to figure out the role one should play in that legacy is prevalent throughout the story, and was written in a way that made me feel the pushes and pulls that each character was dealing with as they searched to find both personal and professional happiness. Domestic violence (in its many forms) is also explored throughout, and though I am not a survivor, I felt it was handled with great care and respect. Lastly, there is a touch of magic to this book (the title serves as a hint to this!) that is obvious in some parts, and subtle in others, but at no point did this take me “out” of the story or hinder the plot (which I had been initially a bit concerned about). Overall, this was a great read and I cannot recommend it enough! I appreciate NetGalley providing me with an opportunity to read an advanced copy in exchange for an honest and fair review.

How does she do this every time? Make you cry and laugh and pull at your heart strings and just completely sucks you in! I already knew it but as I read every book Abby writes I am convinced that she is such a gifted story teller! She takes real life issues and weaves them into beautiful stories. Thank you so much for bringing these wonderful stories into the universe!!!

Part of Your World is a great story to be read by many who enjoy fun, laughter, great banter, and a string of emotions to go along with it. Daniel & Alexis will make your heart melt for them. Daniel is so sweet and Alexis is so unsure, but throughout the book the theme is there in so many ways. Abby said it best with her writing. No matter where you are, the love you have for someone else will still be there with you. I really have enjoyed reading this series. I’m looking forward to Abby’s next book in 2023. Thank you to NetGalley and Forever for giving me the opportunity to read this book.

Another lovely story by Jimenez about a small town carpenter/groundskeeper who rescues and falls in love with a big city ER doctor. I loved the small town setting of this novel and all of the characters in the town of Wakan. I also liked that this novel dealt with different kinds of abusive relationships. I will say though that the way the two main characters fall in love and can't live without eachother after only knowing eachother for a couple months was a bit much and definitely over the top at times. ALl in all, I really enjoyed this novel and couldn't put it down!

I was up until one a.m. finishing this book, and like all of Abby Jimenez's work, I loved it! The chemistry between Daniel and Alexis was instant and palpable and so fun to read about. Books with both characters' perspectives are the best and this did not disappoint. Even though their worlds were so incredibly different, Daniel and Alexis also shared many similarities and the love that grew from them was powerful. The portrayal of emotional abuse, and its ability to impact multiple generations, was sensitive and thoughtful and provided important context to Alexis's journey. I can't wait for Bri's story in 2023!

How does Abby write about emotionally difficult and serious situations with such wit and respect at the same time? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is probably my most honest and personal review…

Gosh, this book was so hard to read because I was in an emotionally abusive relationship that was well on the road to becoming physical. It is so hard to be honest with the people you love the most. The mental mind games, the “mean” comments that are meant to slowly break you until that person becomes your entire world. It’s so difficult to get out of this vicious cycle and it takes so much time to heal. I love that this book is out in the universe and can help someone out there feel less alone, even take a step towards getting help.

Alexis and Daniel could not be more different from the outside. Daniel is a carpenter from a small town, who’s 10 years younger. Alexis, is a sophisticated city-girl that must carry the family legacy of world renowned surgeons. In an attempt to heal from a terrible break-up, Alexis is discovering what’s truly important with Daniel’s and the tight-knit town where he lives. Turning this relationship into more than a fling means Alexis is turning her back on her family and possibly missing an opportunity to help thousands of people. With a world of differences between them, how can Alexis pick which world to be part of?

Daniel and Alexis came from different worlds, but in their own way they needed each other to heal. I also appreciated that even though Daniel was a hottie, it wasn’t the primary topic across the book. And well there’s also a goat in pajamas and a dog. 😍 No matter what stage in life you’re in, finding yourself and healing is important.

I’ve pre-ordered every single book, doing so helps authors on so many levels. There’s a paper shortage, so pre-orders are strongly recommended. Pub day is 4/19/22 Thank you @netgalley @readforeverpub and @authorabbyjimenez for the gifted e-galley!

My absolute favorite Abby Jimenez book. Oh my goodness the romance in this one is phenomenal. I swooned. Ugh, I could not get enough of these characters and even days after finishing the book, I was still thinking about them. I loved this one so so much! 5 STARS! All the stars!

Thanks to NetGalley and Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for granting access to an ARC.

This is Abby Jimenez’s fourth book, yet my first time reading her. I absolutely adored the dialogue, storyline, characters, romance, and small town charm. The relationship between Daniel and Alexis is well-developed and plausible. Equally, the tender way that abusive relationships and mental illness were addressed was stellar.

I’m on my way to devour the author’s first three books!

Thank you for this ARC! Abby Jimenez did it again! This is the best romance series-- depth, great characters, different stories, and actual genuine chemistry between characters.

First of all I loved Daniel, and I loved how this relationship started.

I think the topics of domestic violence were handled and written about so well. Showing both emotional/control abuse and also physical abuse without graphically discussing, allowed me (and other readers) to understand the complexity of how the characters think and why they were making certain decisions.

Can't wait for Bri's story and to recommend this to everyone for preorder!
