Part of Your World by Abby Jimenez explores the question: what happens when two people with completely opposite lifestyles in every way fall in love? When Alexis Montgomery, an metropolitan ER doctor swerves to avoid a raccoon, ends up in a ditch, and is a saved by a stranger—she had no idea that her life would change forever. Daniel Grant, a young carpenter and B & B host saves Alexis and is instantly drawn to her. Can these two people navigate all of the many roadblocks in their way? In Part of Your World, Abby Jimenez takes readers on an emotional and angst-filled journey as the two main characters try to find a way to be together. The novel is so heartfelt and moving. Part of Your World, Abby Jimenez is another great read from a brilliant author in the genre.

This was a cute rom-com that fits in nicely with Abby Jiminez's previous books.
Trigger warning: there is talk and instances of abusive partners in both physical and emotional ways.
In this book, Alexis is a big city ER doctor, much to her parents dismay. They are surgeons and do not approve of her career choice to not carry on the family tradition. Daniel is a hardworking country boy who runs a bed and breakfast part time and makes furniture the rest. When the two meet through random chance (her car breaks down and he rescues her), it starts a relationship that makes her happy but she knows no one else in her life will approve of. Will she stay in the city with her ex who is trying to win her back? Or will she break out from under her parents and take a chance on love? Will Daniel try to fit in with the rich city family or will he stay in the country with everyone he knows even of it means giving up love?

This book was pretty predictable but I love that about these books. You know what's going to be the end but it's what you have been waiting for.

As a true Abby groupie, I will read anything she publishes. This was no exception and highlighted her writing abilities. If you have read her other books, this one appears to be in a new "world" with new characters to love. There is lots to love in this one, but some might find it a little less believable than her previous novels. I am excited to learn that she will continue this "world" in an upcoming book next year. The audio is done by the same team that did previous books. Thanks NetGalley for the free ARC, all views my own and not influenced by this. #PartofYourWorld #NetGalley

I don't even know where to begin with this amazingly wonderful book! It took me way too long to finally start this one, mainly because of all the hype I've been seeing. I was worried that it wouldn't live up to my expectations. And I'm happy to report that it was even better than I was expecting! I just adored the dynamics between Alexis and Daniel. Two strangers from two very different worlds that have nothing in common, yet are made for each other. Add in the subtle Disney themes and this book is just perfect. I can't wait to read the next book by Abby Jiminez, featuring Bri, Alexis' best friend.

Why did it take me so long to write this review!? I have no idea. Great book. Anything from Abby is fantastic. The chemistry between the characters was so. Good. :)

An incredible book from Abby Jimenez as always.

For me, this book hit totally different in regards to relatability and I think that may be the case for many readers as many of the characteristics that these characters have are relatable.

Unsurprisingly, I loved this couple and I could not help rooting for them. I especially had a soft spot for Daniel but then again, I really felt for Alexis and the familial pressure that she was put under.

This was a realistic and relatable read but it also had an underlying element of enchantment. The story and setting of Wakan was absolutely charming.

I feel like I say this for every Abby Jimenez book but I absolutely cannot wait to read Bri's story next!

Simply WOW! Abby Jimenez’s latest book Part of Your World gave me all of the feels. I am laughing from the kid in pjs and Kevin Bacon, crying at her relationship with Neil, swooning about Daniel and the joy he brings Ali, and lastly angry about her father with his behavior/ demands. This book has trigger warnings so please review before reading but was written in such a way you will get lost in the story. Definitely a favorite book of 2022.

This is Abby Jimenez's best work to date. This story felt hopeful, honest, and filled with raw emotion. I laughed, I cried, and now I seriously want a baby goat. If you loved The Friend Zone trilogy, this is even BETTER. Don't miss it.

This book was so amazing that I'm shocked I forgot to review it here. I'm a Jimenez super fan so I've recommended this one, gifted this one multiple times, and reread this one. I could go on and on about how much I loved this one but I honestly just tell people it's best to read it for themselves and discover it's magic without any spoilers.

It’s taken me a long time to write this review, in part because this book hit me on a personal level and I needed time to digest it. I’ve been a fan of Abby Jimenez since the beginning, and each book that she writes is even better than the last. I religiously check her updates for news of her next published work, so when Part of Your World was announced, I eagerly signed up for an ARC. To be surprise and glee, I was selected and read this late last year.

A true romance, the best kind, where two people shouldn’t fit, have everything going against them, and despite it all, finish on top in spite of all of the setbacks and criticism. Cue Rocky theme music.

Alexis Montgomery, a famous doctor is part of a decades old legacy, hospital royalty. Due to some bad luck, or fate, rather, she meets Daniel in quite possibly the best meet cute I’ve ever encountered in a romance novel. Just out of a 7 year relationship, struggling with her identity and self-worth, she doesn’t have the self confidence to know that she deserves better. Through a series of events she learns that she is a strong woman and capable of more than she could have imagined.

The story and rhetoric are one of Abby’s best, and I look forward to her future books.

I absolutely loved this book! This was my first book by Abby Jimenez and she did not disappoint. I couldn’t help but think of the tv series, Hart of Dixie while reading.

While this book has that town charm, lovable characters, baby goats in pajamas 🥹, it also contained big issues such as physical/emotional abuse and gaslighting.

Alexis and Daniel come from different backgrounds and I loved seeing it unfold into this beautiful messy love story. One of my favorite characters here was Bri. I loved her so much! I can’t wait to read her story next

Abby has yet to write something I don’t absolutely love. The story of Alexis and Daniel and their lives is gripping and real. I loved it!

Alexis grew up living privileged and abused by her narcissistic father. Daniel grew up loved and lived a simple life. The two meet with “by accident“ and start one of the most complicated relationships. It’s difficult going after what you want when everyone is against you. Alexis has to decide what’s more important her needs and wants or everyone else’s. This was a 5 star read!

Abby Jimenz knows how to write a great book. She pulls you in and gets you to feel emotions that surprise you each and every time despite knowing her writing style. You'll laugh, cry and feel every other emotions as well. I highly recommend you read EVERY book she writes!

I love all of Abby Jimenez's books. The laughing, the heart pulling, how can there be so many emotions in one book. The first chapter draws you in and then it never lets you go. When I was finished with the book, I felt like I was leaving behind friends.

I can’t believe my review isn’t here. I was ecstatic to receive a copy of this book and I know I wrote a review. Clearly that didn’t save.
They way that Abby captures the reader from the first page is incredible. There hasn’t been a character she has created that I wasn’t instantly invested in.
This story of two people coming together from two different “worlds” had me from the beginning. The way their lives connected and the twists of gate that keep them coming back to each other is another one of Abby’s perfect formula stories. If you love to laugh out loud when you are reading alone, with your family in the other room wondering if you’ve gone crazy… this read is for you!

I loved this book! I couldn't put it down. I couldn't figure out how the author was going to provide the happy ending I so desperately wanted. I never figured it out until the very ending. I've read a lot of current romance books, but the one surpasses almost all of them.

This was the densest contemporary romance I've consumed this year, but omg it's so good. I don't think Jimenez gets enough hype for how good her stories are

I loved everything about this book. I honestly laughed from the first page. I read it back in November and I had a hard time putting it down when I needed to rejoin the real world.
