Abby Jimenez has managed to tug at my heartstrings...AGAIN! I laughed, I may have cried just a little, but during the entire read, I was rooting for Alexis and Daniel. This is a tale of social boundaries and how to overcome them if the person you love means just that much to you. Jimenez kept me on the edge of my seat throughout their entire journey!

I find that I can never go wrong picking you whatever Jimenez writes and this didn’t disappoint. I loved the characters and I haven’t read many romance novels with the age gap like this and how it can affect perspectives but doesn’t have to affect your relationship. This one I could 100% see as a movie that I would go see asap.

This is a sweeping romance that makes you believe in fairy tale endings for even our modern heroes and heroines caught in life's toughest moments

The beginning was a little rough for me with everything feeling like it was moving from place to place to place. but this ended up being a cute read. Love an overcoming heroine almost as much as I love a puppy hero~

Abby Jimenez does it again! When I first read the description of the book, I wasn't sure I would like the main characters' age difference but Abby makes me appreciate that love doesn't always play by the rules. Alexis comes from a family of high expectations and is an over-achiever to the point of exhaustion. Daniel is just the right amount of calm, cool, and collected to be the perfect match if only Alexis could see it. It might take some serious persuasion and a little magical realism to help convince her. This book is another great by Abby Jimenez, who is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors.

I've gotten so lucky with reading some of my favorite all-time romance novels recently. This one quickly shot to my list of top five all-time favorites! I loved it so much, I cleared my calendar so that I could read it all in one sitting. I even ordered the physical copy after I finished my advance copy so that I could start reading it again and put little post-it flags in all my favorite parts!

Abby Jimenez is always a winner, but she knocked this one out of the park. I fell in love with every single character in this novel, and I couldn't stop turning the pages even though I didn't want it to end!

Abby Jimenez DOES NOT MISS. This one is just as good as her others - maybe even better! I loved every page of this and hated when I finished it.

Loved this book, the characters, and everything this author writes. This book made me happy and that is the best review there is.

I absolutely loved this age gap romance. I found so much of it the perfect amount of charm and swoon. Alexis and Daniel came off the page and I didn't want it to end. The small town charm of Wakan including the little bit of magic were just icing on the cake. This could be my new favorite!

T.I.M.E. BOOK REVIEW: I often listen to audiobooks as I am doing other things. So, sometimes, my attention can get a bit split between the story I am listening to and the tasks I am doing while listening.

With this book, I became so enthralled with the characters' journeys that — in the final two hours of the book — I stopped everything and planted myself on the sofa to give it my full attention. I did not want to miss a single word or feeling every emotion of what the characters were experiencing.

It checked all my boxes for a T.I.M.E. Favorite Books To Read contender. . . Great story. Dimensional characters with a focus on strong female characters. Creative story elements that stretch the book's typical genre schematic. . . And a steady balance between delivering an entertaining story and an exploration of sociological issues. With bonus points for taking the heart on a roller-coaster ride. Going up, down and each “high and low” filled with a good dose of humor to add to the thrill.

Put me down as a new fan of Abby Jimenez for any future book. And I will be "circling back" to read her previous three books as well!

This proves it: Abby Jimenez cannot write a bad book.

I loved reading Part of Your World way more than I had anticipated. The writing was absolutely phenomenal. Abby Jimenez is a very talented writer, but I honestly feel like she outdid her self here. I was hooked on the story from page one and remained glued to this book going forward. The different character dynamics and relationships are what really made <i>Part of Your World</i> shine, however. Daniel and Alexis' connection was special from the beginning and I loved how it blossomed and grew as the story went on. The nature of their relationship and their reservations felt very authentic and relatable. Alexis' familial dynamics with her parents were another important aspect that I thought added a lot of strength and adversity to her character.

Part of Your World was truly a magical reading experience and I have nothing but great things to say about it! Definitely add this to your summer reading TBR!

What a great book! I loved this one. A big city Type A doctor has car trouble and ends up meeting Daniel. Daniel lives in a small town where he runs an inn and is a carpenter. Alexis falls for him but realizes the relationship will go nowhere with the differences in their lives. She is also worried because Daniel is 10 years younger than her. Daniel has other ideas and he tries to convince her their two worlds can come together. Their chemistry is great and they are both wonderful characters. There is depth to the characters and the storyline is exceptional. I loved the community where Daniel lives and the people there. This book is so well written I didn’t want it to end. I highly recommend this one!!

I will always and forever devour anything Abby Jimenez writes. I say it in every review for Jimenez, she has such a great way of dealing with heavy topics in a way that is not cliche. I would warn that this book may trigger those with issues around being gaslighted. It is such a journey for Alexis to become her own person, not the person her parents and ex want her to be. I am in awe of Jimenez for her ability to bring humor and make falling in love feel like magic.

Read if you liked any other Abby Jimenez or Talia Hibbert novels.

Another solid book from Abby! Can't get enough of her writing! I laughed, I cried, I swooned. It was perfection.

I actually received the ARC of this book after I hit the request button so fast I strained a finger, but once I actually read the description of it, I wasn’t really sold. I like Jimenez’ books a lot, and absolutely adore The Friend Zone most of all, but this one didn’t sound up my alley. And honestly it really wasn’t. Where I would give both of her other books five stars, easily, this only got three and a half out of me.

After getting stranded in a ditch in a random town, ER doctor Alexis is pulled out by handsome stranger Daniel and pulled into the wonderful little town he lives in. Fresh out of an abusive relationship and feeling the pressure of her job and family expectations, Alexis is looking for nothing serious, and can’t believe Daniel wants her in his life at all. But she’s glad for the reprieve in the little town of Wakan, with charming Daniel, a baby goat, and his B&B.

When things begin to look too serious, Alexis has to make a decision: does she continue the family legacy, even when it doesn’t bring her happiness, or does she throw away everything for a guy ten years her junior?

The ten year age gap thing really kept coming up and definitely was not crucial to the story…I think in the beginning, Alexis (who primarily goes by Ali, though I do not understand that jump) is worried about looking less than perfect in front of Daniel, but it’s more related to her past abuse than to being older. This was like a weird, forced part of the storyline that I didn’t care to be reminded of.

I really liked Bri, Ali’s best friend and one of the supporting characters…I’m really glad her story is coming next spring. I can’t wait to read that one because it sounds like she has a good sense of humor, which is what I think was really missing from Ali. She just *wasn’t* genuinely funny. Both her and Daniel had these very dumb inside jokes that just did not charm me. I don’t understand why this is, because Jimenez is clearly very capable of writing humor? All of her other books have had a natural warmth to them that this one just didn’t, in my opinion.

I loved the town of Wakan, and the description of the bed and breakfast. I could see both of those settings very easily in my mind. Ali’s natural surroundings, like her home and the hospital, were much harder to visualize. I’m guessing this is done purposefully; they are cold environments she doesn’t connect to or experience her life through, but it makes the story kind of jarring at times.

While this book does switch perspectives, I find that most of my criticism is with Ali and not Daniel. Daniel was likeable and warm; he fits well into his surroundings and comes off in the story as caring but not obsessed with Ali. I think this narrative is more about her, even if he does have issues of his own. She’s the one coming to terms with all of the change in her life. And the two of them, in turn, have some sparks and connection, but it’s not totally visible to the reader. I’m not watching it unfold but more reading about the after-effects. Daniel provides Ali with warmth and consistency after her abusive relationship, and Ali wakes Daniel up to all the possibilities available to him in life. Other than that, I’m only being informed that they somehow fit perfectly.

This book wasn’t bad, it just didn’t really do it for me. The subject matter, the lack of humor, and the *meh* romance don’t rate it high on my list, but I will definitely continue to read Jimenez’ books. The talent is still there, but I’d pass on this plot for a better one.

It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of Abby Jimenez. Every book that I've read by her I have given 5 stars.

I honestly feel like this may be the best Jimenez novel yet. The meet cute between the two characters from completely different worlds was PURE bliss!

Oh my goodness. The chemistry between Daniel and Alexis is on another level my friends!

Ugh... loved everything about this book. Wakan, the dog, the pig, the baby goat!!!

Such kiddos and more to Abby for writing another incredible romance novel!

Unsurprisingly, I loved Part of Your World by Abby Jimenez. I’ll read (and love) anything she writes. I was so excited for this book that, not only did I buy a copy in the bookstore, but I didn’t realize I had preordered THREE other copies. Oops!

I’m the first to admit that I’m a romantic so I wanted Alexis and Daniel together from the start. I got a bit frustrated with Alexis at one point but then I reminded myself that she had to go through her own journey and realize that she had to set boundaries and stop doing things to please others.

There’s a great, realistic way things are handled in this book. Everything isn’t wrapped up perfectly in a bow but it’s happy and hopeful. There are also some deeper topics explored like domestic violence and emotional/mental abuse. It’s handled so respectfully.

As always, Jimenez is an auto buy author for me. Definitely grab a copy of this one (Or two! Or three!). It’s a beautiful story.

Abby Jimenez just keeps getting better and better. The dialogue is realistic, fast, and witty. The characters are imperfect yet likable, and I really appreciate that each also touches on a topic that is real for women. Delicately and sincerely.

This has to be one of my favorites this year! I am obsessed with Abby Jimenez’s books. This is now my third and they just keep getting better. I think she is just able to round out these characters in a way that you can’t help but love them and root for them.

In this book, Alexis is a hilarious lead and so fun to follow. I liked that there was a bit of an age gap here with the woman being older. Its so rare these days to see a relationship like this on screen or on the page. It was a breath of fresh air. And Daniel was the perfect guy for this scenario. He is so mature and sure of what he wants. It’s unique to have a guy in the relationship wanting to commit right away! He was all in from the jump. This was a fun and sweet book that I will be telling everyone I know to read. Plus there is a dog and a baby goat in pajamas so you really can’t go wrong!
