Not Seeking Mr. Right started off with one of the most amusing openings I’ve read in a long time – and we definitely get the point right from the start. I enjoy age gap romances because I believe love comes along with the right person at the right time. Age is a number (for the most part) and I’ve never understood why it’s perfectly alright for an older man to be with a much younger woman… but when the woman is older, well, that raises eyebrows. It shouldn’t, but it oftentimes still does even today.

Ginny has recently been dumped when her now ex-boyfriend decides to get back with his ex-wife. They were to attend an event together but now Ginny is going with friends and intends to have a good time – starting with that delightful encounter in the parking lot. When her ex gets annoying Josh steps in for a dance and swings Ginny away from the man who doesn’t know how to just stay away. She might be older than him, but she’s beautiful, funny, and hot so there’s no way Josh is stepping away from her this night. A one-night stand, perfect for them both… until the results of that night become known.

I enjoyed watching this couple deal with not only a surprise pregnancy but the small town’s reaction to their relationship, and the reasons behind why Ginny keeps saying no to marriage and Josh continues to ask… until he doesn’t. There’s definitely angst here, but it fits well with how these characters are interacting. There were so many folks I’d have loved to give a glare to for their gossip but Josh and Ginny handled them well. I do think that Ginny could have accepted Josh’s feelings for her sooner or not protested quite so much about the age difference but then we wouldn’t have this fascinating romance to devour. I had fun with Not Seeking Mr. Right and if you love Rom-Com or Contemporary Romance with an age-gap couple then you’ll enjoy this return visit to The Single Ladies of Lakeside series.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

This story is for all those fans of small town and age gap romances. Throw in a surprise pregnancy and even friends to lovers and you have something all will love. Watching these characters develop into something more makes this an enjoyable journey to witness. I love how independent Ginny is and the determination Josh shows to prove himself. Grab this one as soon as you can.

I enjoyed this novel. Josh and Ginny are from two totally different worlds but somehow are are instantly connected. I loved seeing both grow and connect on a deeper leave with each other. I wish I could see their story at a faster speed and more romance for the two of them. I would love to see where everyone is now!

Ginny has had enough. At 40, she's done with lying cheating men. As much as he wants a family of her own, they just aren't worth a long-term relationship. A one-night stand might be fun, though, especially with the cute bartender with the really fine butt. He's leaving town soon anyway, so it's perfect! Until it isn't. Oh, he's a young one with big plans, but he wants it all, too. Will he stay? Does Ginny want the life they could build? I really enjoyed this book. It is a lot of fun. I enjoyed the character development and the relationships. Read this one!

This is my honest review about Not Seeking Mr. Right. I did receive an E-arc of this book from the publisher.

What happens when a one night stand with a man who is 15 years younger than you goes the way you’d never expect it to? Well that’s what happens to Ginny and the man she met at a wedding after being dumped by her now ex-boyfriend. This story was engaging from the start and I enjoyed following along with all the trails they were both put through.

This story is definitely angst filled and I felt for both Ginny and Josh. I disliked how gossipy and closed minded the town was towards Ginny and Josh’s relationships and the constant insults thrown ginnys way just because she was older than josh and everyone assumed she was using him because her “biological clock was ticking”. Ginny did get a little bit on my nerves but at the same time I understood why she did what she did and didn’t expect anything from josh and always tried to keep him at arms length especially because of how much younger he was than her.

I loved Ginnys friends and how supportive they were of her and didn’t sugarcoat or baby her. They told her when she was being dumb and always had her back no matter what. I enjoyed how the story ended and cannot wait to see what is in store with the rest of this series!

Thank you to entangled publishing & netgalley for sending me an e-arc of this book!

This author was new to me. I enjoyed the book well enough, though I’m not sure I’d seek her out again. I might reread and see if it sticks better a second time.

Sexy, sassy and sparkling, readers are sure to enjoy Natasha Moore’s latest fun contemporary romance, Not Seeking Mr. Right.

Ginny Colburn has just been dumped by her wedding date – and everyone knows about it! Ginny is not best pleased to be at the receiving end of pitying glances and sympathetic words of encouragement, so when a sexy young waiter begins flirting with her, she decides to reciprocate. Mutual attraction quickly sees Ginny throwing all caution to the wind, leaving her emotions at the bedroom door and spending a night of no-strings fun with the handsome younger man who simply cannot get enough of her. Theirs was only meant to be a one-night stand – until a couple of weeks later when Ginny realizes that she’s got more than red-hot memories to remember her sizzling night of passion because she is pregnant!

The world is Josh Anderson’s oyster. Having just graduated from college, Josh cannot wait to leave Lakeside behind, travel all over the globe and have all sorts of adventures. Being tied down and shackled to a lifetime of domesticity and commitment is the absolute last thing he wants – until Ginny knocks on his door and informs him that he’s about to be a daddy! Josh hadn’t envisaged spending the next couple of years changing diapers, but now that his child is on the way, he is not going to run away from his responsibilities – even if it means putting his dreams on the backburner.

Ginny wasn’t expecting Josh to stick around when she informed him of her pregnancy, but when he makes it clear that he wants to be there for her and their baby, she thinks that the three of them might be a family for real – until Josh gets a job offer he cannot refuse that will take him halfway across the country. Will their family be split up for good? Or will Ginny and Josh find a way to make their relationship work?

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for sending me an ARC of this book; I very much appreciate it!

There was so much about this book that I liked! The main characters were both likeable, the supporting characters also had some depth and added to the story. While the story had enough foreshadowing to be a bit predictable, it was so well done I didn't mind it at all. There were scenes that made me laugh and others that really pulled at my heartstrings. The ending was satisfying and it was a nice change to read about a heroine who was a bit older (40). The author also did a great job of describing the small town and making me want to move there (except for the snow!).

Overall, a fun book. 4.5 stars.

Ginny, forty years old, thought she could have a rebound with Josh after her ex who she thought she would start a family with cheat on her and left. Josh is twenty five and have big dreams and plans for his future. Would it be just a fling!?
Josh's character is very mature, he even seemed older than her sometimes. I think the author did a good job, their relationship made a lot of sense.

The chemistry, the struggles.. All was perfectly delivered.

This romance was sweet and I truly liked it.

The author gives us an emotional journey as Ginny & Josh juggle impending parenthood, their age difference and the desire to be more than just co-parents. They struggle through small town gossip, family expectations, misunderstandings and the desire to "do the right thing". I liked watching as their relationship grew from a one night stand to one where they began to put one another first.

I recommend this read. There's a lot that's going on in it, but it's a wonderful, heartwarming read.

I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC of this book, which I received via NetGalley.

Love this! First, we have an older woman, younger man story and it was great from the beginning! Ginny and Josh have immediate sparks, a fun back and forth, and some frustrating ups and downs. I loved everything about it. The story kept my attention, I didn't want to put it down so I just devoured it. It's a great mix of feelings that makes an amazing read!

Ginny is 40 and is not looking forward to attending her cousin’s wedding alone as her two-year relationship with her ex ended when he decided to get back together with her ex, and they will be there. She never expected that a chance encounter with Josh, one of the bartenders, would lead to a dance that would send them down a path neither was expecting.

Josh is 25 and currently working multiple jobs as now that he has finished college, he is looking for the perfect job as a landscape architect. Both he and Ginny agreed to one night but when they find out they are pregnant it becomes a game changer, and they must decide what and who they want in their future.

Ginny and Josh were perfect for each other however their decision to put the other first causes misunderstandings and turmoil. With the help of family and friends they realize that dreams can change and that love and family is what truly matters.

It's a sweet and heartwarming romantic comedy that I thoroughly enjoyed reading. It's a feel-good kind of book that is a perfect read if you're feeling blue for any reason. Both the characters are cute in their own way. Ginny is seething over being dumped after her boyfriend cheat for who-know-how long. And Josh is working many jobs as he tries to find the one job he actually wants. He is much younger than Ginny and at a very different stage in his life. They are both looking for different things, but the fate has its own plans and no one can stand in its path. Now, here they are. Tied down by the "little bit" or LB, as they call it. What happens when they decide to spend more time together? Will they end up in love or hating each other? Find out in this sizzling hot rom-com.

Natasha Moore is still a fairly new-to-me author, but I really enjoyed The Goodbye Guy, so when I saw this one, I knew I had to give it a try. The cover caught my eye, and the blurb was intriguing. I’m not usually a fan of age-gap romances, but something about this book tugged at me. And aren’t we told we should always listen to our gut instinct? So glad I did.

There’s also another saying I should have kept in mind as I dove in: Don’t judge a book by its cover. I’ve been an avid reader most of my life and a book reviewer and blogger for five years, so I should know better, right? But in all honesty, I went in with some preconceived notions. The cover is cute and colorful, which gave me the impression this would be more of a rom-com. And The Goodbye Guy, while a tad bit angsty at times, was fun, funny, and mostly lighthearted. Don’t make my mistake. Even though Not Seeking Mr. Right starts with a humorous scene, it’s so much more. I found myself fully engaged with Ginny and Josh’s relationship. The age gap is a pretty big one, and the author had me literally feeling their struggles to the point where I shed some tears over them. That doesn’t happen often. I can experience all the emotions an author is attempting to evoke in readers, but actually shedding tears has only happened a handful of times over the years. I typically understand both the hero and heroine’s thoughts and feelings in a story, feeling omniscient yet tending to lean more toward a heroine’s side. But I was so moved by Josh’s character, I found myself extremely upset with Ginny at times. And his mom.

Not Seeking Mr. Right was so much more than I anticipated with an engaging storyline, strong leading characters, secondary characters that enriched the storyline, and writing that evoked much stronger emotions than expected.

A one night stand that turns into a life time commitment. Ginny is trying to get over being dumped by her ex. Living in a small town the talk is on everyone’s lips. Josh has finally graduated college and is looking forward to starting a career. The story is focused on the age differences of the characters and how it affects the family members and community gossip. As they spend time together they have to make choices about their future relationship.

Loved Ginny and Josh - cute and practical pair. Good story line and well written.
Felt so good after reading it and found myself wanting to read more about their HEA - an epilogue maybe.

Going in I was super skeptic - a huge age gap between protagonists is my personal peeve, be it an older man/ woman. Having never read any of Ms. Moore's books, it added to my doubt.
But am very glad I read it.

Planning to binge read her other books!

Natasha Moore wrote another page turning novel with Not Seeking Mr Right. It was easy to fall in love with Gin and Josh from the start. Ginny and Josh first met at a wedding reception and the sparks flew. Sadly, Ginny was seen by the town gossips as a cougar since she was 15 years older than Josh. Their love story makes you laugh, smile and tear up a little. While Not Seeking Mr. Right is part of a series it can easily be a stand alone novel. Can’t wait for the next book of the series!

A new favorite author for me. A perfect balance between serious themes and the fun of unexpected romance that starts with a spark
.
Ginny is incredible, I loved her character and that she was a woman with a cold head but full of passion, living her life with happiness and fun despite the things that may happen and Josh is the perfect combination of seriousness, responsible and compliant men that are on his way to great goals
They both cross paths at her cousin's wedding and agree to let the spark be for just one night, with no apologies or breakfast, after all the two have they different path marked for them but sometimes the perfect moment comes when you never has expected
.
Age gap combined with a one night stand make this romance a well-seasoned story, a fun read that lifts my mood leaving a smile on my face, I love a well done women age gap with a good male character to fit
.
Thanks to Natasha Moore and Entagled Publishing LLC for give me this Beautiful Book in exchange for my honest opinion

I Will post my review in Goodreads after send this one and in my Instagram blog in the next days
