Cute projects with lots of cute animals to make. The steps are very clear and elaborate. Would be a good addition to those interested in amigurumi.

As a total novice with amigurumi I was pleased at how well laid out this book was. Instructions were detailed and easy to follow and plenty of pictures so you can see what your doing. The front on the book gives details of hook size and different yarn weights how how to read the pattern which is handy for beginners. Patterns are labelled clearly for ability. A lovely book with some great characters

This book has many adorable amigurumi projects. I personally think that this book is great for people who has intermediate crocheting skills. I was a bit frustrated the fact that some of the photos were upside down. Text instructions were very clear. However, I wish it included more photos of step by step instructions. Crochet today is not the same as when I first learned 50+ years ago. Even in the last decade, this craft as evolved and draws many more talented people to the skill that used to be "only for old ladies" If you check the internet and social media, you'd be amazed at the talent displayed there and wonder how you could learn to crochet like that. Well....if you want to learn amigurumi, you could not find a better instructional guide. The patterns are clear, the instructions sensible and so very helpful and most of all FUN! I have now created at least one of every one of these patterns and taught my teenage grand daughter too. Take the jump and explore your creative side.

A really good amigurumi pattern book, which will suit all skill levels as the patterns are easy to follow and are just so cute! With pictures to show you how they are supposed to look, you can’t really go wrong. Written in US crochet terms, with a how to guide at the back, I really enjoyed it and definitely recommend this book. Thank you #netgalley

A lovely well set out book with lots of cute projects to complete, all scored by level of difficulty

This book would be a fun addition to almost anyone's crochet collection. What I liked about this book is that you do not need advanced skill and is therefore suitable to most people who enjoy the craft. There is an index and stitch explanation at the back of the book which is very helpful to beginner/intermediate skill levels. I thought the pictures were quite well done. While I've seen amigurumi animals in other books that I've preferred, there are some really cute options here that I'd be happy to try out. I would recommend this book primarily to those with an intermediate skill level in crochet.

I have been crocheting on and off again for over ten years now, and amigurumi has always terrified me. This book looks like a great one for beginners--it includes introductory things like how to hold your crochet hook, which I thought was a wonderful edition, as many crochet books don't have that.
It was also wonderful getting to see the difficulty for each pattern. My only "complaint" is that some of the pictures of the progress being made are not as well lit as the official, finished items. This isn't a big deal, as they are still lit well enough that you can see what you are supposed to be doing.
All in all, I enjoyed this one, and the variety of animals included.

These patterns are completely adorable. The book contains 15 very detailed patterns which include plenty of instructions and photos to match. I love the variety of animals included in the patterns, as well as the clothing and accessories that each of them have. This would make a great gift for the crocheter in your life.

Some cute patterns in there! Love the bee and penguin and these make great gifts for newborns and toddlers. I have a few amigurumi patterns that are my go-tos for gifts. I like that the patterns are complex and complete with clothing items and other small touches and features that are really cute and unique. You could customize it really easily to fit the giftee. Love it!

I was surprised to find most pictures flipped upside down in my copy - i assume it will be fixed for publication.
The instructions seem fine and easy enough to follow.
The 15 animal patterns included are cute if a bit old fashioned - it would do well with the older audience. I myself - if i may be brutally honest - have seen many cuter designs online as free patterns.

Firstly, all the pictures are upside down.
Secondly, the meanings for the abbreviations should come at the beginning of the book for beginners. A beginner isn't going to want to flip back to the end of the book for meanings, and go back to the first project l while trying to crochet.
Besides that the patterns are cute, and very adorable.

I love this book! Everything is really clearly documented and there are so many useful pictures to help out in the crocheting process. I can’t wait to complete more amigurumi animals! This will definitely be a go to book for me.

"Anyone Can Crochet Amigurumi Animals" is a new collection of 15 cute anthropomorphized amigurumi animals. From foxes and hippos to koalas and giraffes, the pattern collection has something to offer to just about anybody. I'm especially keen on trying out the bee myself... a bee in trousers with suspenders? What's not to like!

All the patterns have a ton of details, making them perhaps a bit time-consuming and fiddly to make, but the end project is so worth it, as they all look really, really cute.

Each pattern comes with a detailed introduction of yarn used, and expected size at the given gauge, and the instructions are very clear and with lots of photos along the way. I'd perhaps not recommend it to a <i>complete</i> beginner, as there are a LOT of details to each pattern, but the book includes an introduction of which yarn to choose and what hook to use, as well as a complete glossary with all the stitches to use, and tips and tricks for people new to amigurumi, so who knows - these cute animals may be just the push some people need, to get started crocheting toys.

An adorable crochet primer for plushie-style projects. All the basic crochet/amigurumi techniques are covered with ample photographs, as well as some additional tips and tricks. The patterns are of similar easy to intermediate difficulty and are all quite cute, though I will note that the animals are positioned to stand on two feet, making the designs less realistic but great as children’s dolls. As long as you like the style of the finished projects, this is a great beginners guide for amigurumi.

Most of the patterns are suitable for beginners and all are graded on levels of difficulty. The instructions are very clear and the book i full of excellent photographs to refer to. The detail of the animals is lovely and they all come accessorized or clothed. But you can easily adapt the finishing touches to your own taste. Overall an excellent book

I want to thank Netgalley and the author for gifting me the ebook. Omg!! These patterns are so cute! I have so many nephews and a niece and I cannot wait to make them one of these patterns! It is really hard to find a cute pattern and they are usually very scary looking ha. But the creator made all these stuffed animals look whimsy and old fashion looking which is right up my alley. I cannot wait to make these! Perfect for Christmas presents that is just around the corner!
