This is fairly typical of Tennapel's work. It's a bit weird but follows a solid set of internal rules. The ending is solid and the illustrations engaging.

I read this title for a committee and enjoyed it so much! I've always been drawn to books by this author - they're usually more cartoon-y and colorful, which is my favorite type of graphic. I appreciate the access to this title!
