This was definitely one of those books I did not want to read in the dark, by myself. It got quite creepy at times, is what I’m saying. And the body horror made me have to step away from it a few times to take some breaths. I can imagine this one translating really well to a horror movie (and I would 100% watch the movie version. Through my fingers.)

And then! There was the sapphic romance! So cute, so fun seeing Finch slowly realize her identity and go through the coming out process. And that relationship… adorable! Made all of the creepy bits absolutely worth it.
