LOVED this book! This was my first book by Winnie Griggs, but it will not be my last. Her Amish Springtime Miracle is the second book in the series, and you can read it as a stand alone, but I need to know what happened so I will go back and read the first book.
Hannah was devastated when she was told that can not have children. Happily, she was able to foster a baby named Grace. Then, a mysterious newcomer to her town will threaten everything that she has wanted in her life.
I read this book in two days- it was that good! Many thanks to the author, Forever Publishing and NetGalley for a complimentary copy of the book. The opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.

I loved this book. Honestly, I love Amish fiction. It’s so good. This one was especially close to my heart as we have adopted babies. While they haven’t been abandoned in my barn they were adopted through a family member so I can understand a lot of the feelings that the characters have in the book.

I love that the book highlights adoption. Through friends who are Mennonite, I do know that they adopt and advocate it but I wasn’t sure about the Amish so I love seeing it portrayed here.

Also, this is just a sweet wonderful romance story. There isn’t a bunch of suspense or mystery but none the less it kept me reading and made me sigh when it was done.

I’ve read other books by this author and knew that I was going to love this one. I hope you give it a read. You’ll love it.

Finding baby Grace is an answer to Hannah's prayers. Hannah has always longed to be a mother, but a devastating diagnosis leaves her unable to ever have children of her own and crushing any romantic prospects as well.

A heartwarming romance, filled with faith. I instantly liked Hannah from the start, she is a warm outgoing woman, with a big heart for others. I liked how she was constantly supporting and caring for those close to her, as well as how how she reaches out to Mike. I loved seeing familiar faces from Hope's Haven as well, though this book can definitely be read as a stand alone.

A enjoyable read, with wonderful characters, and strong faith. I especially liked how the topic of conversion was taken very seriously, with pros and cons on both sides. Highly recommend this heartwarming read!

Her Amish Springtime Miracle is the second book in Winnie Griggs Hope's Haven series. I have not read the first book, and I had no problems following along. The author always creates such wonderful characters and heart warming stories.

In this story, we see Hannah. She has found baby Grace almost a year ago in her barn. Hannah, who has always wanted a family of her own is happy to care for her. Hannah it appears is not able to have children. She falls in love with her and wants to adopt her. When it's time for her adoption to be approved, there is the obstacle of Mike showing up. Mike is not Amish. He is a paramedic and determined to try and find his late sister's baby. However, when he finds Grace he is shocked to see how well Grace is adjusting and thriving.

Hannah and Mike have almost an instant attraction. However it's complicated since one is Amish and one is not. I enjoyed seeing where the author took her story and was sad when it was over. There are some books you wish you could just continue to read about their lives, and this is one.

The characters are well written, it's a unique story line. I have missed reading this author. Thank you to the author, publisher and JustRead Publicity Tours for allowing me to read a copy of this book - all thoughts are my own.

Winnie Griggs writes a beautiful story and truly draws in the reader to feel like they are friends with the characters. In Her Amish Springtime Miracle, the main character, Hannah, seems like someone I could imagine being friends with, and I love her name- as I have a daughter named Hannah. I was touched by her deep yearning to adopt baby Grace and give Grace a loving mother and extended family. Hannah's new and developing friendship with newcomer Mike is unusual at first, as the Amish try to stay separate from non-Amish, but they develop a fast connection, until they discover a deeper connection- baby Grace. I do not want to spoil the story for future readers, so I will simply say that Grace is truly a key in this story. I believe readers of the Amish fiction genre will truly enjoy this beautiful story. I was given this book to read and review by Netgalley, and am very thankful for the opportunity.

What does it say about a book when you wake up in the middle of the night and just KNOW what a big twist is going to be? That was me. Middle of the night, my eyes pop open and I think “so and so is this and then that is what happened, but maybe this will happen next” and I was RIGHT!

This book had me in my feelings multiple times. Throat getting tight, trying not to show any emotion while reading a book and my kids running around playing beside me. What a unique spin on an Amish book and a great one at that. This is the second in a series but it can be read as a standalone. I haven’t read the first and did not feel like I was missing out on anything.

My synopsis:

The story starts out with Hannah, an Amish baker, finding out she cannot have children and her significant other leaving her over it. A few nights after that heartbreak, she hears her dog outside barking like crazy. Upon further inspection, she finds a newborn baby girl abandoned in her barn with a note specifically asking Hannah to raise her. Will she finally get the chance to be a mother like she’s always dreamed?

Fast forward a year, and we are introduced to paramedic Mike Colder. He is on a mission to find his nephew abandoned at birth by his deceased step-sister in Hopes Haven. While searching for the baby, he becomes close friends with Hannah. Feelings develop, shocking news is discovered, a betrayal close to home is unearthed, and multiple miracles come to be.

You won’t want to miss this one.

annah Eicher knows that she can never bear children, but this doesn't lessen her deep desire to be a mother. And then, she is shown the power of God's intervention when she finds an abandoned baby in her barn. Suddenly, Hannah is given the joy of loving and caring for a baby and it seems that fostering baby Grace may lead to Hannah becoming her legal mother through adoption. And then....an Englischer comes to Hope's Haven and Hannah's happiness is threatened once again!

This is truly a story of the heart. There are heartwarming scenes of a baby girl thrilled to see her Mamm come in the door and heartbreaking scenes when it appears that she may be taken away. There is Hannah's awareness that her feelings for Mike may be more than friendship and her struggle to remain true to her Amish upbringing. Author Winnie Griggs offers a captivating depiction of Hannah's wide range of emotions, along with her strong trust in God's Plan. Wonderful characters, a sweet romance, and the addition of several surprising twists made this a story that I couldn't put down!

This is the second book in the Hope's Haven series, but I didn't find it necessary to have read the first book. I thoroughly enjoyed Her Amish Springtime Miracle and I recommend it to fans of Amish romance novels.

Hannah and Mike’s moving, uplifting, emotional story in Her Amish Springtime Miracle, by Winnie Griggs, book two in the Hope Haven series, tugs at your heart, holding you hostage until the very last page. This was a story I could not put down, reading it in one day. An orphaned baby brings together an unlikely couple, who learn the true meaning of family in this delightful and heartwarming novel,

When Hannah Eicher discovered sweet baby Grace in her barn last spring, with a note attached saying that she wanted Hannah to have the baby and raise it in the Plain community; the adorable infant seemed like the answer to her prayers. Hannah is unable to have children, so this discovery was a gift from G-d. The young Amish baker has always wanted a family of her own and now that she’s fostered Grace for nearly a year, her adoption application is almost certain to be approved. Mike Colder Cross, a paramedic, returned to his childhood hometown primarily to locate and adopt his late sister’s baby. When the trail leads to Hannah and Grace, Mike’s determination falters. With Hannah, the simple life he left behind suddenly seems appealing. As Mike and Hannah get to know each other Hannah finds out that he is in town looking for his long-lost nephew. He has found a diary of his sister’s who died in the past year and she writes about a baby that she gave away. It soon becomes more than just Baby Grace and Mike’s missing nephew, Hannah and Mike have a connection, from the beginning; one that develops into a true friendship. There are several surprises in the book, but along the way Hannah and Mike fall in love. However, Hannah strongly believes in her Amish ways and will not marry outside the community. When surprising events are revealed that Mike had no idea of in his life, both he and Hannah are given news that shakes their foundations of faith and family.

Ms. Griggs could easily have made this a novella, but it would have lost the depth of what went into Mike’s search and Hannah’s acceptance. We wouldn’t have met all the other interesting characters or fun situations. Or discover that Mike loves Hannah’s chocolate whoopie pies. Her Amish Springtime Miracle is not about hoping for and finally receiving a miracle, it is about keeping the miracle. I highly recommend The Amish Springtime Miracle to other readers.

A Charming and Enjoyable Read

This was such a charming and enjoyable read. The way the story evolved had me completely connecting with the characters, especially Hannah. The way God answered her prayer in the form of baby Grace and Hannah's love for her was so endearing. Author Winnie Griggs did a wonderful job of developing the characters and the relationships. It had me on an emotional roller coaster when one minute I'd feel Mike's frustrations and heartache while the in the next minute his ways had me frustrated to no end.
What made the story so charming and endearing was how love and commitment, as well as faith and trust in God prevailed over all of the situations that Hannah and Mike were faced with. It is definitely well worth the read.

What I loved: This book had such a sweet storyline. Both Hannah and Mike had issues that they had to confront before they could achieve their happily ever after, and the author did a nice job of developing each character into fully believable, dynamic characters. I loved that Winnie Griggs wove in some twists and turns in Mike's family history and that she allowed those to be revealed slowly. The characters' faith arcs were well written, and Mike and Hannah's romance developed nicely, too.

If you enjoy Amish romance, you will love this book, as well as the first book in the series, Her Amish Wedding Quilt. I'm looking forward to meeting more characters from Hope's Haven.

Her Springtime Amish Miracle is the second book in the Hope’s Haven series, and the second book that I’ve read by Winnie Griggs. I loved being back in Hope’s Haven, glimpsing characters from the first book, while also being introduced to new ones as well. No worries if you haven’t read the first book as the author does a wonderful job of filling in the blanks, but I do feel like reading them in order adds to the richness of the overall community.

Even though it is an Amish book it is full of contemporary flavor, there are a lot of comparisons between secular life and the Amish life, and brings to light a lot of good arguments for both that I haven’t really given much thought to before. We all believe that we know what we want, but what if it’s really not what we want if we look deep enough within ourselves? Very thought-provoking…

The characters are simply wonderful, though I did feel bogged down once the complications and truths started entering the picture, as much of the information is repeated, and conversations are rehashed over and over, but isn’t that realistic and true to life? I was Team Hannah the entire novel, and though Mike does redeem himself I found his closed mindedness and selfishness annoying after a while, which is props to the wonderful writing. Other than Hannah, Leah and Grace were close seconds as favorites of mine. Leah in all her wisdom gave such sage advice that had me pondering how I view situations myself, and baby Grace was the precious diamond in the center of this heartwarming story.

Home is where the heart is and this statement isn’t more true than in Her Amish Springtime Miracle and I cannot wait to see where this remarkable series takes us next!

Such a charming, heartwarming story. Author Winnie Griggs brings her characters to life in book two of her Hope’s Haven series. If you haven’t read book one, that’s okay. I haven’t either and had no trouble following this story line.

Strong, well developed characters bring this story to life. To read while Hannah goes through so many difficult things. Oh my. I won’t go into them because I don’t want to give it away but I was in tears at times. Yet Hannah held strong and believed God was walking with her. And Mike. So many wounds due to other people. He was a gem! Add in baby Grace who was adorable and you have a wonderful story. I highly recommend it!

HER AMISH SPRINGTIME MIRACLE is the second book I’ve read by Winnie Griggs. She grabbed me right away, from the very first page and she never let me go. Now I’m kicking myself for not making time to read her previous books! More importantly, I really love the lessons I learned. What we think we want isn’t always what we really want. Home is where the heart is. All those lovely cliches that make us keep reading sweet, clean romances. HER AMISH SPRINGTIME MIRACLE is very enlightening and filled with love, respect, trust and forgiveness. The struggles and problems HER AMISH SPRINGTIME MIRACLE show the reader are unusual for the Amish people. With that in mind it took a lot of courage and faith to overcome. Oh, I can’t forget to mention the secrets! The secrets that come out will be huge!

HER AMISH SPRINGTIME MIRACLE is a very captivating story and will have you flipping the pages quickly to see what happens. I was instantly caught up in the story of Hannah, Grace, Leah, and Mike. When I finished reading this wonderful story I was happy and sad at the same time. The story was great but I wasn’t ready to leave all of the strong, caring characters. HER AMISH SPRINGTIME MIRACLE is like a big bar of Godiva chocolate, you want to devour the whole thing at once but you know you will get more pleasure by savoring each chapter. This is a carefully woven story of two lovely people who have truly loved and suffered loss.

HER AMISH SPRINGTIME MIRACLE is filled with twists and turns and had me swiping the pages way too late one night to finish! I had to know where Winnie Griggs was taking us and what would happen to all the people in this wonderful community. I loved how the whole community was really trying to help Hannah and Mike work through their troubles. There is so much heart in Winnie’s writing that I was left with a huge smile on my face and my heart very happy. All of the characters are very interesting and believable, so much so that I felt as if I’ve known them for a long time. Fans of Amish fiction will love this book! I can not wait to read more of Winnie’s heart warming books.

Her Amish Springtime Miracle by Winnie Griggs is book two in the Hope’s Have series. This story takes over where the first one ends so it is best to read them in order. When Hannah finds out she cannot have children, her boyfriends leaves her. Hannah wants a child so bad, and one night finds a baby in their barn with a note for Hannah to raise her.

This is a heart warming story of second chances and answered prayer. I enjoyed how the story points out the adults do what is best for the child. Hannah does what she needs to do for the child and for her bakery business. When the child’s English uncle comes to find her and raise her as his own, the two work together to make sure the outcome is what is best for the child. I enjoyed reading this story. It not only brings the child and her uncle together but it brings a mother and grown child together. It is an well written easy to read story.

Her Amish Springtime Miracle by Winnie Griggs is the second book in the Hope’s Haven series. This is a sweet story. I thought Her Amish Springtime Miracle was well-written with realistic, developed characters. The story moves along at a good pace. I enjoyed getting to know Mike, Hannah, Leah, and Grace. The community is filled with warm, caring people who are there for each other. I like how Leah helps Hannah with Grace and baking dilemma. I enjoyed catching up with the characters from Her Amish Wedding Quilt. Her Amish Springtime Miracle is a story about family ties and dynamics. The Christian elements are well-done and beautifully woven into the story. God’s plans are always better than our own and prayer is a powerful tool. Her Amish Springtime Miracle can be read as a standalone, but I do recommend reading Her Amish Wedding Quilt. Hannah’s baking will have your mouth watering. She bakes up delectable cookies, cupcakes, and Mike’s favorite, whoopie pies for her bakery in the marketplace. I enjoyed the descriptions of Hannah’s special place. The author’s word imagery really brought the place alive for me. Her Amish Springtime Miracle is a heartwarming tale that was over far too soon. I look forward to my next visit to Hope’s Haven. Her Amish Springtime Miracle is a sweet story with tasty treats, a beloved baby, a special search, an unexpected encounter, a new awareness, and a caring community.

This was such a sweet and emotional story! It is book two in the series, and I have read book one. It was nice to catch up with a few characters from that book. That being said, however, this book can easily be read as a stand alone novel. It is not necessary to have read book one to enjoy Her Amish Springtime Miracle.

I was so impressed by Hannah. This young woman had to deal with some heartbreaking truths right before she found Grace. Now, after a year of fostering her, baby Grace was about to officially become her daughter through adoption. Yet more potential heartbreak was right around the corner. The way Hannah handled the truth of Grace’s background and how Mike was involved was amazing. She showed her true heart for Grace in trying to put the baby’s needs before her own heart’s desire.

Mike was a great character, too. It was neat to see him learning about this Amish community and trying to relate it to what he had been taught about the Amish while he was growing up. He had a lot of loss in his life and the search for his late sister’s baby was his chance to try to hold onto the last piece of his family. He was a good guy and I really enjoyed the connection that Hannah and Mike had as they formed their friendship.

This has been a really good series so far and I look forward to the next book.

Her Amish Springtime Miracle is the second book in Winnie Griggs Hope's Haven series and is a delightful story that has me eagerly waiting for the next book. Hannah and Mike's tale begins with a desperate young woman seeking God for a miracle and if no miracle happens, then a sense of peace to see her through the future. There is a bit of predictability to the story but there are also a 'WOW, I sure did not see that coming' moments. The author has woven the Englisch and Amish worlds neatly together and the characters are realistic and tug at the reader's heart. Readers who love charming stories about family and learning to have faith in the God who answers prayers will not want to miss Her Amish Springtime Miracle. I read a complimentary copy of the book and was not required to write a positive review. The opinions are my own.

First, I loved this read, and, yes, I rather figured everything out early on, but, it really didn't matter! The author did a wonderful job of pulling me into this read, and quickly caring for these characters.

A hurting young woman, Hannah Eicher, her finance has left her, and the reason is she has been told she won't be able to have children, devastating! Then the unthinkable, a baby is left in this Amish families barn, prayers answered?

Enter Englisher, Mike Colder, he is looking for his sister's baby. Can it be the same baby?

I loved how this story wove together, such a caring group of people, there for one another! Warning, you will be craving some good food, someone is always cooking or baking!

Now I'll be on the lookout for the next book in this series!
