I have LOVED this series and was so happy the newest installment was Cammy and Lorcans story!! After witnessing the beginnings of their chemistry in the previous book, I was hoping their story would be coming soon. Imagine my surprise and excitement upon finding it so soon!! Definitely worth waiting for!
Thank you Mesra Platt, Dragonblade Publishing and NetGalley for allowing me an advance copy for my honest feedback.

As soon as I read that the next book was Cammy and Lorcan’s story I got very excited since I noticed the chemistry already in the last book. This was so cute and the relationship seemed very realistic and well written. I’m glad that it was not a third act breakup but that the plot got more dramatic during the end. Can’t wait for the next book

I'm not sure how, but this has become one of my favorite book series this year. Lorcan and Cammy are a great pairing, and support each other well.

A Delightful Regency Romance

Cammy was running away, so Lorcan went to find her. Why was she running? Cammy had a secret. This is a fun, lighthearted story, but there are elements of suspense. As Cammy and Lorcan go through their journey, they find love and adventure. I enjoyed this story and would recommend it to lovers of Regency romance. The stories in this series are charming, with romance and humor between the pages.

Lorcan voluntarily goes after Cammy hoping to win her heart. As they continue their journey they must look as if they are wed.
Meara Platt once again writes a marvelous story tieing on book to another and all family members are included. I enjoyed that Lorcan supported and complimented Cammy in every way. Even when she didn't know what she wanted.

The Book of Love moves to the next Farthingdale lady and a Brayden man. Many men notice Cammy, who is very beautiful and could marry a man with a title. However, Cammy wants nothing to do with the London marriage mart. Lor goes after Cammy and they find themselves in situations where Lor needs to protect her reputation. Cammy is kind, but has a great fear that stems from the past and it holds her back from a relationship with Lor. Lor was worked for the crown for years, is good at what he does, and no interest in marriage until he met Cammy. Both Cammy and Lor experienced the senses that the Book of Love discusses from the moment they met. But Cammy's past and Lor's occupation cause tension between them. Will Cammy overcome her fears to love the man who sets her heart on fire?
I received this novel from net galley and the publisher. Thank you! All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The Journey of Love by Meara was a love story almost from the beginning but only Lorcan knew it. Cammie did not. Cammie did not want to go to London for her season. She was frightened and she had good reason to be. She had not shared her reason with anyone but her sister, who kind of found out and had to be told. So, she took off for home on a mail coach. Sadly it was the wrong mail coach and by the time Lor caught up it was miles in the wrong direction. He had known she would be ruined and they would be forced to marry before he set out to retrieve her. He had no problem with that, he just needed to convince her. It was a lengthly journey to get her home and he took full advantage of it to woo her.

This was a highly entertaining piece of fluff, just like the others in the series. We all need a break now and the, don't we? The Farthingale women and Brayden men are notorious for falling for one another. Braydens are handsome and fearless and loyal. Cammie was a little different in her phobia about London. Lor lived and worked there. But as he got to know her, he found out why she was frightened and in typical Brayden fashion, he set out to solve the problem. He is the ideal man and why we read these books. He loves blindly and protects that which he loves. What a romantic story! Loved it!

The Journey continues for the Book of Love! Now in the hands of Camellia Farthingale, she is determined not to go to London and decides to make a run for it.

Lorcan Brayden (sigh, yes how can you not love that name and his grunts!), agent for the crown, is determined to find her. Although he has diligently fought his feelings for Cammy, he will not be able to hold them back any longer!

Intrigue, suspense, danger with humor thrown in, and these two slowly build to acknowledge their feelings! An exciting, character driven story that will only leave you wanting more! Meara continues to be amazing (as if there is ever a doubt!)

Bit of fluff.

Sometimes, I just want a simple, quick read. These books usually fit that requirement.
Cammy is on the run, but knows she is her physical assets and is still on the silly side.
Lorcan is 25, attracted to Cammy and kind of a lunk.
A bit of suspense, plenty of tropes and we begin in media res, where they already like each other and are practicing the physically side of their attraction.

This is such an entertaining series, and I think this one might be my favorite, for now. Cammy is so afraid to go to London, she runs away. It’s up to Lorcan Brayden to bring her back. It would have been easy if she hadn’t taken a coach going the opposite direction from Barnstaple, her intended destination. Cammy and Lor’s story is loaded with humor and romance and a good dose of intrigue and danger. There is a hint of attraction from the beginning, but the romance builds slowly. Lor is strong, protective, and considerate. Cammy is sweet and chatty. This truly is a journey of love. They do get to London where there is an exciting ending. Next with the book? Donal Brayden. I look forward to his story.

I received an ARC of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. My review is voluntary.

Another cute entry in this series. Because of how much these characters feature in the previous 2 books, it would be really hard reading this without the two before it. Even having read the prior two, their feelings felt a bit rushed for me between like and love. But I do love Lorcan so much! I wasn't sure I'd keep reading after this book because I've only read the 3 focusing on this set of Farthingales, but the ending of this one definitely hooked me enough to read at least one more. 3.5 stars.

Lorcan and Cam are a great couple. Their story is more enjoyable if you read the previous books in the series; otherwise, you miss the building of their feelings for each other. If you have read other books in the series though, some of the Book of Love stuff is repetitive. I found myself skimming sections that dealt with it. You won't want to miss this story: fake marriage, forced proximity, friends to lovers, justice for the heroine. It checks a lot of boxes for an enjoyable romance.

Camellia Farthingale doesn't want to go to London now that her sisters are married and no longer need a season. Cammy tries to run back home, but is captured by her fate, Lorcan Brayden. As one of the Crown's best agents, Lor is sent to protect her, but spies and the weather interrupt their travel. A compromised couple pretending to be married makes for a fast path home to get her father's approval. Cammy's fear of London is valid when she discloses her secret. Lor realizes he is after a murderer. A slower pace than the previous books in the series, but still includes a lot of humorous discussion over The Book Of Love.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

Another wonderful addition to the series. I liked Cam my and Lorcan from her sister's stories, but I absolutely love them now. The book was entertaining. The characters were so very well-written. This story was great at not only showing strengths, but showing heroines/ heroes have weaknesses as well. Another great book by Meara! I look forward to more books in this series.

So much better than some of the previous books in this series. I loved it from the start. Lorcan and Cammy's love blossomed throughout even though from the beginning they both knew where it would end up.
I applaud the author in that the focus was on love and giving Cammy and Lorcan their space to grow without having the Book of Love forced down readers' throats every second.
Everything about this book was likable- strong writing, nice flowing chapters, beautifully detailed and well-developed characters, HEA, passion, and a bad guy or two. I thoroughly enjoyed this one.
It can be read as a stand-alone even though it picks right up where the last book left off.
I received an advanced copy in exchange for my review

Camellia Farthingale, the youngest of the Devonshire Farthingale sisters, wants nothing to do with London and the Marriage Mart. However, she has agreed to go along with her sisters, Juniper and Willow, preferring to face the ordeal of a society debut with them rather than alone. But now her sisters have found love, and Cammy is on her own after all. She cannot go to London and runs away, for she harbours a secret she dares not tell anyone. Lorcan Brayden has been charged with finding Cammy and delivering her safely to London. He is determined to fulfill his mission since he is one of the Crown’s best agents and this is what he is trained to do. There is a killer waiting for her in London and she is the only one who can identify him.
The twelfth book in the series & it could easily be read on its own. A very well written past paced book with lovely characters. I loved both Lorcan & Cammy, the chemistry was wonderful but it was the way that Lorcan drew Cammy out & allied her fears & gained her trust that had me sighing. I devoured this book in two sittings as I found it very hard to put down. The book of Love worked its magic again
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read

A gorgeous regency romance with the Book of Love capturing Cammy and Lorcan in a wonderful journey of love. Another well crafted, mix of danger and delightful story by Meara Platt.

An entertaining and fast-paced novel, I enjoyed this book, the characters, and the rescue of Cammy Farthingale. Driven by fear, Cammy makes her escape planning on returning home, rather than going to London with her sisters. London holds hidden dangers and Cammy knows her life would be forfeit if recognized. Lorcan has been entranced by Cammy from the moment he set his eyes upon her, but with his work for the Crown, he cannot afford to reveal his interest. However, when it is discovered that she is missing, Lorcan loses no time tracing her. Thus begins a journey that leads to love. I enjoyed the unfolding of this romance, the way in which Lorcan gently drew Cammy out and earned her trust, and the slow smolder that ignited and became a full-fledged romance. Although part of a series, this novel is a standalone and comes to a happy conclusion. I received a copy of this book as a gift through Dragonblade Publishing and NetGalley and this is my honest and voluntary review.

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
💋💋

Lorcan and Cammy, so beautiful together, they have an innate chemistry that is so sweet and passionate.
A wonderfully written and very entertaining book from Meara.

I loved this book, it’s no Surprise, if you’ve read my other reviews on this series, to guess that it’s one of my favourites.
The Brayden’s and the Farthingales together as a couple one again, pure pleasure.

I’m not into spoilers so I won’t ruin it, but don’t miss this one.
I have to admit to being on the edge of my seat as to waiting for the next Brayden book.

Come on Meara, write quickly.

I received an Arc copy of this book and chose to post this review
