I received an ARC copy of this book from the Publisher via Netgalley and voluntarily leaving my review.

Gia hasn’t left her town in five years after a bad break up. She a writer for a traveling magazine only differences is it’s her best friend who’s travels and gives her the information about each place she visits. She good at it that you believe she been to those places.

Gia gets challenged to leave her town or get expose when a fan of her writing learns she hasn’t been to any of the places she wrote about. Lindsay is taking care of her parents after giving up a hope for a career she finds joy in Gia writing until she learns Gia never went into any of theses places.

This was ok read. I do wish we had more time with Gia and Lindsay in relationship to really feel if they work.

The main characters in this book are Gia and Lindsey. Gia is a travel magazine writer who has a large following. There is just one small problem, she has never been to any of the places she writes about and photographs. She has her friend email her photos and tell her about the hot new lesbian places in that city. Gia has not left her house in years due to a terrible breakup.
Lindsey is a huge fan of Gia's travel column and has quite a crush on Gia as well. When Lindsey finds out that Gia's column is fake from a friend of a friend, she is devastated. She writes Gia through her column and lets her know that if she doesn't come to her town in person and write about it, she will expose her.
Gia is mortified and finally agrees to come to Lindsey's town although she hasn't gone anywhere in 5 years.
What happens over the upcoming couple of days is interesting and will make you realize that anyone can change, if given the opportunity,
I enjoyed this book and would recommend.
