This book was exactly what I wanted it to be! I loved it. I will make sure to check out other books by this author. When I requested this I was just intrigued by the concept of it and I loved how it turned out. This story had a great plot and if you have read this and enjoyed it, This was so much. It was such a great story. I would say give this one a try. I will continue to follow this author. Way to go to this author for not letting me down.

Heir to Destruction was a very fun fantasy book. In it, you will be brought to the future. A future where people are dropped into three groups: Kantian, Neumarians, and Humans. The Kantian are the supreme intellectual and physical species. They also protect the Humans. As for the Neumarians, well, they are defective mutants who threaten all mankind. Or so they say.

In this, you will meet Semara, Ryder, and Raeth. One is a princess on the run and the other two are siblings. We don't know much about Ryder or Raeth but we do get hints that Raeth and Semara knew one another before. Along the way, we get to know more about each of them and how they fit into everything.

We do get hints of romance here and there between Ryder and Semara. Of course, we get lots of drama that either surrounds them or her horrible mother - the Queen. Then we get lots of action and some betrayal. Not really a whole lot of that but I did see some of it coming before the little reveals.

Then there's the magical powers. I honestly have so many questions about it, and I feel like we still have so much more to learn. It was interesting to see Semara finding out about her own and figuring out what she could actually do throughout the book. It never really came easy, and I liked how that felt realistic.

In the end, I'm really intrigued by what's going to happen next. We know a bit more information about who her father could be. We also know how horrible her mother really is. I'm hoping we might get an epic battle in the sequel, but I also want the romance between her and Ryder to get better to. Definitely excited for the next book and can't wait to dive into it.

I thought that this was a brilliant book!

It had action, adventure, truth, respect and honestly.

It was an excellent slow burn romance amid survival.

It is 5 stars from me for this one, I can’t wait to read the next book – to be continued…!!

this was a great scifi young adult novel, the cover was great and the characters were great. I enjoyed the plot of the book it was what I was looking for in this type of book.

This was great it had complex ideas and processes and I loved the characters I am very thankful for the author, publisher for allowing me to read this book I feel really honoured and thank you to netgalley for the opportunity to read and give feedback as a community as I am a little obsessed with reading.

This was great overall I loved the ideas and I adore fantasy but I have never read from this author before so I was very excited and started reading straight away. i think it was good and will read from the author again and I will be recommending to my friends and family.
