Cute and VERY steamy but a few too many relationships of convenience/fake dating going on for me! The plot was all over the place.
I love Mia Sosa's writing and loved this story. Solange and Dean were a lot of fun and I couldn't put this down! It was absolute fake dating perfection!

Thank you Netgalley for the opportunity to read this earc. I read this title a while back, and am just getting around to writing a review on it. My favorite genre of all times are romcoms and romantasys. And I love the fake dating trope. You just know they're going to pretend to date, and they're going to tolerate each other until they inevitably end up falling for each other. This book was no exception. It was cute, funny, had great banter and well we usually know how they end. I read this one in the middle of a reading slump to get me back into reading and it certainly helped me pick out my next read. I gave this one 2.5 stars because it was predictable and lovely, but it didn't dazzle me as much as I'd hoped it would.
The Wedding Crasher by Mia Sosa is a delightful and lighthearted rom-com that is a perfect fit for readers who adore humorous, feel-good stories about fake dating, family, and romance, and are looking for a fun and flirty tale that will leave them smiling and rooting for the lovable characters.
I really wanted to love this one, and this was a new author for me, but unfortunately, the romcom fell flat for me and lack of character development
The Worst Best Man and this one didn't disappoint. It had wonderful characters and great humor. Can't wait to see what she writes next!
Delightful in every way. So much heart and character. I'm so glad we got to revisit a bit with Lina and Max and OF COURSE the Tia's.
I am a sucker for fake dating, so I was instantly drawn in to Solange and Dean's dynamic. Their opposites attract back and forth wove masterful tension, and their personal struggles brought in so much heart.
PLUS we've got a only bed bed sitch. Do I ever need to say any more?!
I’m not sure how I feel about this one still. I liked it while I was reading it but I found it very forgettable. I did really like the characters and the story line.
Gosh, I love this author, series and characters. There were so many laugh out loud moments in this one. I do love a fake dating trope and this hit the mark for me. Even though I loved the funny moments, there was really some depth in the character development as well. Mia Sosa is a must read author for me!
Solange reluctantly aids her cousin, a wedding planner, stumbling upon a wedding dilemma that leads her to crash the ceremony. Dean, the groom, declares love for Solange to salvage his promotion. Fake dating ensues, but the complexity grows.
Excited after loving "The Worst Best Man," I had high hopes for this fake dating plot, but it didn't click as much for me. The relationship between Solange and Dean was cute, but I didn’t connect with them much as the leading couple.
I really enjoyed this book! It is a charming rom-com that made me laugh out loud quite a few times. The premise is fun, the characters are complicated and experience growth, and the romance gives you butterflies,
This was my first Mia Sosa, but it won't be my last! Here, you get: fake dating; only one bed; Brazilian-American rep; LGBTQ+ rep; meddling coworkers; banter; a man who is over all relationships and love; and spicy scenes!
I definitely think this book lived up to the hype and I'm excited to pick up more of her books. Was it groundbreaking? No. But I think anyone that loves some contemporary romance will enjoy this romance.
Fake dating is one of my favorite romance tropes and Mia Sosa tackles it with fantastic skill and a wealth of humor. Dean and Solange are such polar opposites but their connection in this book was undeniable. Reading their story was such a pleasure. I loved The Worst Best Man and The Wedding Crasher! Can't wait to see what Mia Sosa writes next!
"The Wedding Crasher" by Mia Sosa is an absolute delight! Sosa weaves a heartwarming and hilarious tale of unexpected romance that's as sweet as wedding cake. The chemistry between the main characters is electric, and their banter is pure magic. Sosa's writing is engaging and filled with humor, making this book a true page-turner. The story has just the right mix of laughter and heartfelt moments, making it a perfect escape into the world of romance.
Solange is roped into helping her cousin, a wedding planner, for a couples big day. Agreeing to it, she never expected to stumble upon a situation that leaves her debating if they should go through with the wedding. Deciding they shouldn’t be, she ends up crashing it. Dean is the unlucky groom who marriage is stopped at the last minute. But, when a promotion is on the line, he panics and says that he’s in love with Solange. Now, they find themselves fake dating, but the longer they fake date, the more complicated it gets.
I remember loving The Worst Best Man, so I was excited to dive in here. Fake dating? Right up my alley and I couldn’t wait, but I never ended up clicking with this one.
The relationship between Solange and Dean seemed to have a lot going on and I never connected with them. Never felt the chemistry between them or found myself rooting for them. There was a lacking chemistry for me and even I got further into the book, none of that changed. If anything I found myself more put off by them.
There were a lot of scenes that had me wondering why it was in there. Scenes that had my nose scrunched up and hoping that it would be over soon. They didn’t seem to add anything to the story, so I feel like they could have easily been left out too. They were scenes that really didn’t make sense to me personally.
This unfortunately, wasn’t the book for me. I liked Worst Best Man and I’m willing to read something else by Sosa, but I’m certainly going in more cautious on the next one I pick up from her.
Really cute romance that is great if you want a quick read for the night. I personally liked the first book, The Worst Best Man, a little more. However, the book was still enjoyable and had some steamy moments between the main characters. I would recommend this book for those who would like a quick romance with a fake dating trope.
I read and adored the prequel (The Worst Best Man) and was excited to hear there’d be another book in the series, but I kept putting it off because I was afraid it wouldn’t live up to the hype I’d created for myself. I was wrong; it absolutely did. This was laugh-out-loud funny in places; warm and loving in others. I loved watching the story come together and the characters find their way to their HEA.
Mia Sosa has such a unique way of writing characters that just come to life on the pages - by the time I put this book down, I wanted to be friends with Solange and I was rooting for her the entire time! Dean is a great MMC, he's dynamic, shows emotion, and had great chemistry with Solange. This is a romantic comedy that I would love to see as a movie! Super cute, lots of heart, and some great side characters - I recommend this one for anyone looking for. a cute love story!
After Solange crashes Dean’s wedding, she owes him one. They end up fake dating to help Dean land a promotion. Their romance is a sham - but the feelings are real?
I enjoyed this - I loved The Worst Best Man when I read it in 2020, and I’ve been waiting on Dean’s book ever since. I loved the fake dating between Solange and Dean, and I think you will too! The audiobook was great.
