An absolutely stunning and beautiful story about children’s favourite toys meeting up with Santa every year to tell him what their child friend wants for Christmas that year.

I loved this! The art is so cute and made this reading experience all the more wholesome. I love that the colours were muted but still colourful enough that I know kids will be glued to these pages.

This is the perfect story to read around Christmas time! I highly, highly recommend this one.

What a sweet and fun story! Every year each child's favorite toy goes on a special trip before Christmas to visit Santa and tell him their child's dearest Christmas wish--after all, who would know better than their closest companion?!?

Along the way the toys help each other on the long journey and "talk shop" about the year they've had. Some of the requests for Santa are straightforward (toys, etc.) and some are more complicated (magic powers, family changes). I loved how sensitively those requests were handled and how Santa managed to still address the root of the child's request, even if the exact item was not something in his power to give.

The illustrations were soft and dreamy and this would make a lovely wind-down book. I'll definitely be reading it in my pre-K classrooms around the holiday season and I'm sure the kids will love it!
