Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing this read. All opinions are my own.
Toni Tone has written a book entitle exactly how I felt while reading this - I wish I knew this earlier! Many relationship dilemmas affect a broad population, and we can all learn together how to apply the common sense advice to our various situations.

This was the first non-fiction book that I've read in a while, so it was a good change of reading pace and introduction to the genre again. I have to say that I've never been a fan of self-help books, they just aren't for me so I did go into it a bit skeptical. I gave it a 2.5 star rating ( rounded up to 3 ) not because it was horrible, I actually enjoyed it but mostly because it didn't give me any new information. Maybe if I had read this when I was younger and needed to hear this advice I would have liked it more and had given it a higher rating. But at this point in my life I already know the lessons that the book wanted us to see and have experienced it myself, in different ways but I have come to many of the same conclusions.

I did end up getting the audiobook as well as the ebook and I think that I enjoyed the audio more. It felt more like advice that you get from an older sister, which is what the book wanted to do. It didn't want to give you advice but more like make you think about what you wanted to do.

One of my favorite quotes in it was "Healing is many things but is not simple, is not a race, and it's not linear"

I couldn't agree more with this phrase, we all have different journeys and we all get to our destination at different times and in different ways. There really isn't a magical step by step instruction on how to achieve happiness and self love.

The book is great for a specific group of people that is only starting their journey, and that's not to say that I already have all the answers because I don't, but if I need a reminder of these lessons then I might turn to this book to reinforce those believes.

I Wish I Knew This Earlier by Toni Tone was an enlightening read! I enjoyed how Tone organized it into three distinct parts and encouraged readers to start wherever served them best! Her style was approachable and encouraging!

I Wish I Knew This Earlier is the kind of book you wished you had growing up. Toni Tone shares her wisdom and things she learned throughout her life, it's like having a older sister guide you.

Such a helpful read, on dating, loving yourself before you could love someone else, and healing from heartbreak. It's the Author’s point of view but good advice for those of us trying to understand more about ourselves and love. It gives the vibe of listening to your older sister talking about her life experiences on dating. Its a good read, if you are in that mindset of change.

And as always Happy Reading!! :)

This book is the hidden gem of advice for love, dating, self appreciation, and heartbreak. Toni Tone felt like the older sister I never had guiding me on my way with personal stories and over all direct advice. I loved it since I never had an older sister. This book seems to be good for any age level as we are always growing and learning.

This is a great book to read if you’re looking for advice on dating and relationships or if you’re seeking comfort and validation after a breakup, a lot of the advice is common sense but it’s still helpful because matters sod the heart don’t always make sense.

The writing style is straightforward, which is a nice reprieve from how heavy-handed other titles in this genre that discuss romance can be.
