This book drew me in at the very beginning. It’s expertly written and the many characters and overall plot were both very interesting. A great thriller novel with nail biting suspense and tons of twists and turns until the very end. I look forward to reading more from this author, highly recommend!!

Wow. You know a book is worthy of five stars when you need to stay up to finish it as there is no way you could sleep without knowing how it ends.

Juliana is a successful attorney, beautiful house, loving successful husband and what appears to be the perfect life. However one text message from an old college friend, Jenny, makes her question everything.....why? Because Jenny is dead and has been for a long time.

This book is told in two timelines as we move between the present day where Juliana and her college friends try to work out who is responsible for sending these messages and also work out how this person can know so much about their lives.

We are also taken into the past when Juliana and her friends are at college and we are led tantalisingly towards Jenny's death and the role which Juliana and her friends played in it.

The pacing of this book was excellent and DeCarolis moved the story along perfectly, teasing out both the present day and past incidents but not dragging it out like some authors can do.

For me, books like this live or die by their ending and this ending delivers in a big way. Everything leads towards a final showdown which will leave you breathless and desperate to find out what happened back then and what is going to happen now.

Get this book but not before clearing your day as you are not going to want to put it down once you start.

Juliana has achieved a lot in her life so far. She is a respected attorney, has a great husband, and a Manhattan apartment to call home. But everything grinds to a halt when she gets a message from an old college friend, Jenny, that died years ago!! It says, “remember me?” Juliana contacts her other college friends and all of them got the same message from Jenny. The four of them are the only ones who know the truth about Jenny’s death…or so they thought!

This was another enjoyable read by Stephanie DeCarolis. I am a huge fan of her first book, THE GUILTY HUSBAND. Her second book, DEADLY LITTLE LIES is a well written, fun thriller story that I am sure you will enjoy! And be prepared for a great ending!

Many thanks to NetGalley and HQ Digital for my ARC in exchange for my honest review.

A thrilling that keeps you guessing until the end. A story about secrets, lies and trust.... You honestly don't know which way to go here!
This book was fast paced, gripping, entertaining, dramatic and just all round amazing. I would like to say that I had a feeling I knew what was going to happen at the end but in reality, I had no idea. Which I think is the sign of a good thriller, right? I read this great story in a matter of hours! Didn't want it to end..
The writing is fabulous, had me feeling every single moment of fear, unease, and creepiness.
One thriller you won't want to miss!

A must read.
Juliana Daniels finally has the life she’s always dreamed of. A loving husband, a career as an attorney, and a cozy apartment in Manhattan to call home.
But when she gets a message from an old college friend, her blood runs cold. Remember me?Juliana drops her phone as though she’s been scalded. The name Jenny Teller shines out from the screen… but Jenny can’t have sent that message.Juliana’s other college friends have all received the same message. The four of them are the only ones who know the truth about the night Jenny died. It’s a secret they have kept buried for fifteen years. With ‘Jenny’ now blackmailing them and threatening to expose their secret, only one thing is certain. Someone else knows the truth about that night… or one of them is lying.
It's awesome. Wonderful characters.
Thanks to NetGalley and HQ for giving me an advance copy.
