It’s not the book, it’s the type of story it is. This is a story about a girl who is invisible and her appearance changes depending on what she’s near- sort of like a chameleon. I picked this one up to try something out of my comfort zone. I don’t typically read YA. I do like speculative fiction, but this felt very young and I just couldn’t relate to the main character at all. I think this book definitely has an audience, but it’s not me.
