Here I forgot about my own life and was immersed in the world created by the author. I would recommend this book. This is one of my favorite reading seasons because there is absolutely nothing better than curling up under a fuzzy blanket with a good book.

This is a good book. The two main characters are Mina and Faidh. Mina is a baker at the palace and Faidh is a sheikh. He doesn’t want to be the sheikh so he comes up with a plan with Mina’s help. He wants to have a pretend engagement to Mina so the council will strip him of his title. They try many things as a couple to get the council mad. Faidh and Mina had some issues together they worked through their problems and declared their live and got married.

For me Leslie North’s books is an calm taste cleanser between books. That is because they all are pretty alike, but with Different characters and a few different details. This is not a bad thing, but not every book stands out to me because of this. I will still continue to read her books since I enjoy them, but they are not 5 star books all the time

When I think of romance, I think of books just like this one, that gives all the feels and satisfies every romance junkies' heart. This is a perfect book to snuggle up with on any day. This one took by surprise! Leslie North is one of the best.

Sheikh Faidh is a very reluctant ruler, he believes his sister is the best person for the job. Everything he finds dull and boring, she’s brilliant at. He devised a plan, have a pretend engagement with Mina, she’s working in his country illegally, she’s also got a secret, the ruling council will reject her because of her secret. They get engaged and the council will kick him off the throne and replace him with his sister. What could go wrong? I enjoyed this story, it was light escapism. I knew where the story was going but I still enjoyed the journey. I received this book from NetGalley. I’m voluntarily leaving my honest review.

Sheikh's Pretend Engagement is the third book in the Sheikhs Pact trilogy by Leslie North. This book can easily be read as a standalone romance or as part of the series.

I really enjoyed reading Sheikh's Pretend Engagement. The story is brilliant! It is fast paced and filled with fun moments, including some steamy ones! I loved seeing the romance bloom and thought the characters were amazing! I didn't want the story to end! I definitely recommend reading this book!

This is a fast read and can be enjoyed in a couple/few hours. There is a beautiful story filled with new love and redemption and I recommend reading it for sure!

Sheikh Faidh is eager to forfeit his title so that his sister could take up his position and be a better ruler for their country. Before he turns 30, he needs to give the council a reason to dethrone him and he finds the answer to this dilemma in the Royal Palace's new pastry apprentice, Mina, whose father was a spy. In exchange for a Royal pardon to her father, Mina agrees to be Faidh's pretend fiancée in an attempt to compel the council to deem Faidh unfit to rule due to his choice of partner. Whether he achieves his goal or loses his heart during the act makes up the rest of the story. 

This is the kind of romance novel I wouldn't normally pick but I thought a book about a Sheikh would perhaps have enthralling descriptions of Middle Eastern Royal architecture, scorching deserts and exotic Arabian culture but alas, no. It turned out to be a predictable quick read with characters and a plot line that have got nothing new to add, no twists or surprises along the way or any kind of attention paid to the pacing of the story. I really tried to find something to appreciate about the book but nothing appealed to me.

I previously read the other two books in this series and loved them both. Safe to say this one was the same and did not disappoint. a quick and easy romance

First of all I’d like to say Leslie north is amazing and I’ve read so many of her books I think this is the seventh book I’ve read of hers and they just keep getting better I read another one from this collection and then I’ve read some of her cowboy books. Overall I think this book is amazing it all the points and it’s lived up to Leslie North name and I think that I will be reading more of the book she comes out with.

This is the 3rd and final in a series, they read well as stand alones, but are connected in a minor way. This is Sheikh Faidh's story. He does not want to be sheikh. Well I can't really say more than that or I will give the plot away. Needless to say things do not go as planned. I found this predictable and just ok. I much prefer her books that describe the culture and area. This was not one of my favorites. 3 stars

I was able to read this as a stand alone without having read the other 2 books. It was easy to read, and very enjoyable. I liked the progression of their relationship and I was satisfied with the ending.

A reluctant Sheikh needs a plan to be forced to step down without being banished.

Faidh is a reluctant sheikh. His birthday is coming up soon and if he doesn't choose a bride, the council will choose one for him. He is a sworn bachelor. He devises the perfect plan.

Mina is an apprentice chef at the palace and can be convinced to pretend to be his fiancée. He offers her an incentive and she goes along with the plan. The plan works only too well. When everything appears to be going really well, the council makes a decision which in turn pushes Faidh to make a rash decision. This destroys everything that they have achieved. Can he convince Mina that the pretense has turned to reality?

It's a sweet and entertaining romance with little angst.

This book was a great read about love and the many ways it can happen, even when you least expect it. Great addition to Ms North’s books.

This is Faidh and Mina’s story. Faidh doesn’t want to be sheikh. The only way to get out of being sheikh is to marry someone unsuitable. Mina is an apprentice to the head pastry chef in the castle. She is also an exiled traitor’s daughter. Faidh asks Mina to pretend to be his fiancée. That should surety get the council remove him from being sheikh. They pretend to be engaged until in turns into more. It kept my interest. I love Leslie North’s books.

This was a really fun, quick read.

Faidh needs to create a scandal so that he can step down as sheikh, so he decides to fake an engagement with Mina, the palace's apprentice pastry chef. This quickly becomes a real romance with both characters in some form of denial.

This was enjoyable, however I would have enjoyed some more fleshing out of Faidh's motivations - Mina was much more clear as a character.

Sheikh's Pretend Engagement, is quite unique. Faidh want to advocate as Sheikh so his older sister can become Sheikha as it was suppose to be. As usual though a fake engagement leads to real feelings and something more. I love reading, Sheikh's Pretend Engagement.
