Lisa Harris continues to deliver gripping Christian fiction with high energy plots! I enjoyed her latest book, The Catch very much! I had read the two previous books in the series, but you don't have to read the others. The Catch stands alone just fine.

There are a few different story lines that intersect in this novel. The main character, Madison, is still trying to find out who killed her husband. Unfortunately, she can't remember; the memories are stored just out of reach. But she is slowly seeing tiny flashes of what happened. A shadow, a feeling, smells, etc. Adding to her troubles is a missing hotel worker, and then the woman's baby disappears with his nanny. Is someone after the baby? Or is the nanny the actual end goal?

The Catch provides suspense, plot twists, light romance, and a Christian message.

The Catch is the third book in the US Marshals series by Lisa Harris. And while the Marshal case for each book is different. The main suspense line and romance subplot is through all three books so it’s important to read them in order. As the main suspense thread doesn’t get tied up till this one.

Since this is the third book in the series it’s hard to talk about plot without spoiling the whole series. But since this one involves a missing child I found it to be the most suspenseful and stressful of the books. But still good. I ended up finishing it in two days. It would have been one day if things like food and work didn’t need to happen. But it was a book that could easily be read in one day.

The Catch by Lisa Harris is another fast-paced suspense in the U.S Marshals series. If you have not read the two previous books in the series, The Catch can be read as a stand-alone book. I enjoy the interactions of Deputy US Marshals Madison James and Jonas Quinn as they are careful in pursuing a relationship. Madison has already experienced the devastating loss of her first husband, Luke.
The Catch has two intriguing storylines that kept my interest. I was glad Madison was able to remember the shooting in her home. This brings a bit of closure to the mystery of who killed Luke.
I really enjoyed this Christian suspense series by Lisa Harris!
Thank you to NetGalley, the author, and publisher for the opportunity to read this ARC of The Catch.

I love a good WITSEC plot! Harris is at it again with her fast paced action that will quickly get you tangled and wondering which way is up. Madison is still trying to find out who killed her husband and who shot her in her home. Jonas has feelings for her, but isn't sure she'll ever be able to move past the murder of her husband. I feel like more of the romance between Madison and Jonas is built in the other books, and this book is suspense and "wrap up" heavy. That's ok if you've read the entire series! It kept this book moving quickly, and I couldn't wait to see how all of the loose ends were tied up. I LOVED having a whole series dedicated to one couple/story line. I wish we saw more of that in Christian Fiction. Harris continues to produce captivating stories that are automatic "must reads" for me.

US Marshals Madison James and Jonas Quinn have reunited again in this third installment of the US Marshals Books. The story starts with them protecting a judge’s life, only to find when he is escorted home that the judge’s wife has been murdered. Now there’s a missing woman, an endangered child, and of course, we’re still waiting to find out who murdered Madison’s husband!

Through numerous twists and turns Madison and Jonas must find the missing woman and child. And in the end, Madison also comes face to face with the person who murders her husband. (And it wasn’t who I expected!!)

My Thoughts on The Catch
I LOVED getting to visit Madison and Jonas again in this third book in the US Marshals Book series. Having their love story drawn out over the three books in this series allowed us to really see how they worked through past traumas to be able to come together.

The mystery in this story was also so interesting! I loved the twists and turns the story took as it resolved. And not only did the story of the judge’s wife come to an end, but we also discovered who had been traumatizing Madison in the years since her husband’s death.

Having an overarching story that binds all of these stories together kept drawing me back to the books until each one was finished. Harris fills each story with suspense, characters you are rooting for, and overall an ending that left me feeling content.

I highly recommend reading all three books in the US Marshals series!

It's a complicated case and a complicated love story, suspenseful, surprising, gripping.
Things aren't always as they seem and our memory sometimes isn't as reliable as we think.
The Christian theme stays in the background and I guess even non-believers would enjoy this novel.

I received an arc from NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.

This is a fast paced mystery/suspense that will have you guessing at every point throughout this book. While there is a lot going on all at once it is easy to follow and will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Madison and Jonas are paired up together as US Marshall’s solving a murder, kidnapping, her husbands murder and if they belong together.! Great read!

Wow, what a fast paced story! Get ready!
I was thrilled to continue on with the story line and characters. Madison is unable to move forward until the person who murdered who husband and shot her in their home is found. She knows he/she is still out there, as there is a single rose left on his grave each anniversary of his death. Madison has a form of amnesia. She saw the person who shot her, but has no memory of who it was. I was kept guessing of the identity of that person until towards the end.
Madison and Jonas are working together on a case. A judge someone wants dead. His wife who was killed in their home. And...a missing woman who is in witness protection and a baby.
Many twists and turns. Lots of suspense and a bit of romance. What more could a person ask for?
Great story!

It has been interesting follow Madison James and Jonas Quinn through the US Marshals series. While you could read The Catch as a stand alone-novel, I highly recommend the first two books before beginning this one.

I love that the trilogy followed the same two marshals, yet each storyline is unique. The Catch is a fast-paced, hard to put down, easy read. There is a lot of action and multiple things going on, keeping you invested in the story. It was interesting seeing the connections in the story.

I was disappointed in Madison and Jonas' relationship. I understand that Madison is working through things, but as you read, you do not get a feeling that they are in a relationship. It is a barely-there theme.

Overall, this is an enjoyable suspense novel. Fans of Lynette Eason, Colleen Coble, and Terri Blackstock will enjoy this author as well.

Thank you to Net Galley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this book. I was not required to provide a favorable review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

After a harrowing attempt on a judge's life at the courthouse, Deputy US Marshals Madison James and Jonas Quinn are tasked with finding a missing woman and an endangered child in connection to the murder of the judge's wife. What seems like a fairly straightforward case becomes hopelessly tangled when the marshals discover that the woman they are searching for is in witness protection and the Amber Alert put out for the missing child has put two lives in danger.

Madison and Jonas are forced into a race to find the woman and the child before the men who want her dead discover her location. And in a final showdown that could cost her everything, Madison will come face-to-face with the person who murdered her husband.

My review: This is the third book in the US Marshalls series. It is not necessary to read the first two books in the series. But it would be helpful to understand some of the situations in this book.

Jonas is back from some intense training and hasn't even had a chance to check in with his partner, Madison, before they are thrown into a case of life and death. There are three different story lines going on in this book and I found very interesting. This book kept me guessing the entire time I was reading it. One is who killed the judges wife, two is why was the babysitter kidnapped, and three is Madison is still struggling to remember who shot her point blank. She's also trying to find out why and who shot and killed her husband Luke. Jonas has fallen in love with Madison but she wants to find Luke's killer before she gets into another relationship as she fears that person will be targeted also. The book ends with all questions answered. This is a great book and I recommend it.

I was given this book by Revell Publishing via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated in any way.

I have loved the US Marshals series by Lisa Harris! Ms. Harris is an excellent writer who gets you in the middle of fast-paced danger from the beginning! The book starts with the murder of a judge's wife! It was good to spend time with Deputy US Marshals Jonas Quinn and Madison James as they fight to find and protect a missing woman in the witness protection program who has a baby in her care! Madison is finally able to determine who murdered her husband in one of the earlier books from this series. I recommend The Catch to others who enjoy suspense! I received a complimentary e-book through the author and NetGalley. This is my honest opinion.

With suspense and action, THE CATCH drew me into the story and kept me hooked throughout.
The plot of THE CATCH is intricately balanced between multiple storylines: the first is the attempt on a judge's life; the second is the kidnapping of two characters; the third is a murder. (Keeping it spoiler free and vague to tempt the readers!) I found the connection and resolve between the three stories to be the most interesting aspect of the novel. The plot kept me engaged and wanting to find out what would happen next.
The characters in THE CATCH are fully developed and an interesting collection of law enforcement, criminals, and victims. The novel is told mostly from the perspective of the Madison with some alternating chapters from Jonas's point of view. Choosing to mostly write from these two POV's amps up the suspense portion of the novel, especially while Madison and Jonas are searching for the kidnap victims. We don't get much background on Jonas in this novel. But we do have plenty of Madison's backstory. I appreciated how Madison connects with one of the victims, helping both characters deal with grief and stay safe in the process. And the "zombie security system" was an amusing addition to the scene.
While THE CATCH is billed as 'romantic suspense', I didn't find there was much romance between Madison and Jonas. (Plenty of suspense, though!) The interactions between these two characters throughout the novel mostly revolve around their jobs as Deputy US Marshalls. Madison is working through some personal history and Jonas is being patient while she works through that history. But the foundations make their relationship stronger by the end of the novel.
THE CATCH is the third in the US Marshalls series, but I haven't read the other novels. I sometimes find it difficult to start a series with a book other than the first. When I first started reading the novel, I had the sensation of stepping into the middle of a conversation. But it did not take long for me to connect with the characters and sink into the story. Given that, starting with book three was not an issue for me. I enjoyed reading this novel enough to recommend it. And appreciated the characters enough to be interested in reading the first two novels in the series.
Overall, I enjoyed reading THE CATCH. Suspenseful action. Complex and immersive plot. An engrossing page-turner. Check it out for yourself!

The novel opens with a woman coming face to face with her lover's wife and a threat. What follows is a murder, an assault on a judge and a kidnapping. There are clues, but nothing is adding up. US Marshals Madison James and Jonas Quinn find themselves in the middle of all this. To complicate things, there is an attraction between the two agents, but obstacles stand in the way. Can Madison find a way to move forward with Jonas?
From the beginning to its conclusion, this story is packed with action, danger and twists and turns. Precarious situations arise and outcomes are often surprising. Madison and Jonas are well drawn characters. The secondary characters are an interesting group, as are their back stories. All the aspects of the novel come together to give readers an exciting and well plotted story. Highly recommended.

Upon starting this I finished it in less than 24 hours.
Having read the first and second books in the series, which all can be read as a stand alone by the way I was anxiously awaiting the release of this one.
After reading the first two I had a lot of unanswered questions that I was really looking forward to get an answer to. A fast-paced series that has well-rounded characters and the action keeps you on your toes. This romantic suspense was a slow burn and I really like how it turned out.
The faith message was what you'd expect filled with forgiveness and understanding. Nothing pushy.
This adrenaline filled romantic suspense kept me quickly flipping pages and finally getting the answers I was after from the other books, telling me the how, what why, when and where.
Can't wait to see what the author puts out next. I'll be reading it!

I was not prepared for the ride that I experienced in this book. This author knows how to do suspense. I enjoyed following Madison and Jonas as they untangled a deadly web that included multiple twists and turns.

The writing on this was well done and I was drawn into the story. It was interesting going from a perspective of US Marshals. It is not a branch of service I have read much about.

Anyway, this roller coaster ride included mobsters on multiple fronts, missing babies, witness protection, and many other elements that made for an excellent story. Like I said, there were twists and turns aplenty with a final one that I almost didn't see coming.

The writing and the story were excellent. The characters were realistic and compelling. The messages of faith were timely and comforting. I really enjoyed this book.

The third book in the US Marshals series is the best yet, wrapping things up nicely but leaving me aching for more from a series I’ve loved!

US Marshals Madison James and Jonas Quinn are back on the case after an attempt is made on a judge’s life. Now they are in search of a missing woman and child that might be in danger connected to the murdered wife of the judge. They thought their hardest case was behind them, but with each clue Madison and Jonas turn up, they discover a tangled web that goes deeper than they could have imagined. Not only do they have a young child and missing woman to find, but they are also on the lookout for the person who shot Madison and left her for dead. The possibility of coming face-to-face with the person that killed her husband is all that she wants and what terrifies her more than anything.

The Catch was a fun conclusion to a great series. For me, I loved the way the story played out finding Madison in danger but keeping her as a strong female protagonist for the story. It can be easy in a story like this to lose sight of the fact that she has trauma she is working through but must be strong for her job and those around her. Playing the part of damsel in distress would have been easy enough, but Madison stayed strong and didn’t want those around her hurt. She used all the pent-up anxiety and energy she had to propel her forward in helping others and being able to solve her greatest mystery. Lisa Harris did a fabulous job of writing these characters and this storyline in a way that kept me engaged and feeling as if I’m following along with these characters as they face many challenges on the job and in their personal lives. This book had a fabulous mix of suspense and romance at just the right times, I never felt like the romance was too much and stayed on the edge of my seat with the tension from all that was happening. I would recommend this series to readers that love following characters on adventures and seeing them grow closer with each book. I would recommend reading the series in order though to get the most out of it and not miss important parts needed to enjoy the most.

I have really enjoyed each book in the US Marshals series by Lisa Harris. While each story is complete on its own, the relationship between Jonas and Madison develops throughout the series and there’s one mystery thread that also plays a part in each story and wraps up in The Catch.

I enjoyed all the twists and turns in this story! There was one twist I totally didn’t see coming. It was so surprising and suspenseful. While there isn’t much romance in this series, I did enjoy Jonas and Madison’s relationship and how it developed throughout each story.

The Catch is the third and final book in the US Marshal series. Even though there is the mystery thread that starts in book one and is solved in this story, I think that you could easily read read The Catch as a standalone as Ms. Harris does a good job of summarizing what has happened up to this point. I’ll definitely be on the lookout for the next story Lisa Harris writes!

I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own. The faith thread is light.

Fans of Lisa Harris and Suspense will not be disappointed with this final book in the series.

This series needs to be read in order, since this last book concludes a mystery and romance thread which starts in book one, and spoilers will be evident.

The action was never ending, fast paced and I was on my edge of my seat for most of this story.
The mystery about Ava which started and ended in book three, was also interesting and a few plot twists not expected. I enjoyed how the author caught the reader up through changing to Ava's POV.

“I was also reminded that God is like our rope and harness. He didn’t give us a spirit of fear. He calls us to trust him. And I’m not just talking about when climbing.”

I loved that this series focused only on Maddison and Jonas from book one through to book three. Sometimes you meet characters who needs more than one book and Maddison and Jonas' story would have felt rushed if it was settled with only one book. Though, I did love Tucker which we met in book three and would have loved a story for him.

The Catch is the third book in the US Marshals series by Lisa Harris. It works well as a standalone, but with only 3 books, why not enjoy them all?

Lisa Harris takes the reader on a fast-moving, roller coaster ride with this book. The main characters, Madison and Jonas are off and running from the very beginning trying to put together several puzzle pieces, that all involve the same judge. With lots of surprises, and quite a number of twists and turns, this book kept me reading late into the night. The plot was well done, and the story also contained a bit of romance.

Lisa Harris is a very skilled story teller, and I think anyone who wants to escape into a captivating Christian suspense book would thoroughly enjoy this one.

In The Catch we revisit Madison James and Jonas Quinn as they worked together to solve a deeply tangled web of abduction, bribery, murder, attempted assassination, deception, and some serious crime rings. Also this book is like reading two novels for it also has details about who murdered Madison’s husband and made the attempts on her life. She has so many questions about who murdered him and why. I enjoyed this book immensely as I do all of Harris’s books. She always has a great mixture of adventure, mystery, investigating and crime scenes. She is very detailed in all. As Madison and Jonas work together again after years apart, can they find forgiveness for past hurts and possibly love again? Revell graciously provided me with a copy of this book. All opinions are my own and part of an unbiased review.
