Make Me, Take Me is the third book in the Hot Nights series by Amanda Usen. This was a new-to-me author, but I had no trouble reading it as a stand-alone. The pacing of the book was perfect, and the book was well written. The characters were charming and were easy to connect with them.
After spending one combustible night together, Betsy and Quinton never expected to see each other. Quinton had never forgotten her and now she is holding up his new hotel. But he wants more from her than just her family café, he wants a future with her.
The book was entertaining and full of heat. I really enjoy reading a book and discovering new authors. I will certainly read more of her books in the future now that I have discovered her.
I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for letting me read an ARC of Make Me, Take Me.
This is indeed a sexy book. It follows a tried and true storyline. Boy and girl have a very hot night and then one tries to avoid the other though neither can forget the night and its future possibilities.
Submission, resistance, seduction, submission, resistance.
And meanwhile out in the real world, our girl is trying not to be run over by a very rich man who it turns out is her hot lover. So who's in charge.

This is one of the better-written sexy books available.
I recommend it.

This was a very erotic story. It had a bit too much sex for me and at times I felt that was all Betsy wanted from Quinn. Near the end the book really picks up and we start to get more of a story as Quinn falls in love with Betsy and she tries to resist him.

The writing was good and I really liked Quinn but I really did not like Betsy. She only seemed to have very tunnell vision and I felt being afraid of ending up like her mom as an excuse was cowardly. Quinn was a man who falls hard for her and really wants someone awesome.

This was a second chance at romance with a fling and it takes place in New Orleans and I loved how the author incorporated New Orleans into this story.

Make Me, Take Me is a clear case of what happens when an author transforms the labor of crafting a story into a true labor of love.
Betsy and Quin's story may be filled with fierce and unchecked passion, but it is a passion that is laced with deep heartfelt pain.
It is this pain that both serves to draw the two hearts together, while threatening to destroy both their lives and their love.
Throw in the complications of money and distrust, and set it all against the ghosts, glory, beauty, and tragedy that is New Orleans, and you have 'une bonne fois'...for sure!

This certainly was a book. All I can say is that it had a goal and it succeeded. Did them being in love by the end make any sense since they had spent no time together outside of the bedroom, no, but that was not the point of this book.

I received an arc from NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.
This book had a lot of interesting twists and turns and the attraction between the leads was definitely a thing. Was it my absolute favorite book not really but I would try this author again.

This book is good. I really liked the storyline. Some of the dialogue felt forced to fit the title, but it wasn't bad. The connection between the 2 main characters is electric and I stayed up way too late reading because I had to know what happened next!
