I loved the preview and can't wait to read the whole book! Abby Jimenez is a gem. I can already feel the chemistry between Alexis and Daniel, and I love the non-traditional take on the May December romance. I'll be waiting for this one on the day it comes out!
I have read all of Abby Jimenez's books, and was thrilled to see a preview available for her next release, Part of Your World.
Although just a few short chapters, this preview has already grabbed my interest. I have so many questions about Alexis and her best friend's current relationship dramas, and am seriously intrigued by Daniel, who sounds like the handsome all around good guy featured in many small town rom coms - can't be beat! I will definitely be reading this as soon as I get the chance!
This sample sucked me in!!!! I do not think I can wipe the smirky-smile off of my face. Fully invested and on the edge of my seat. The small amount of story that I know so far makes the title even more intriguing! These two people from completely different worlds have collided and I truly cannot wait to read the rest of this story!
Thank you to the author, publisher and Netgalley for providing the preview chapters.
Once again, Abby Jimenez has me sucked in! The main characters seem likeable, playful and witty. The short preview was definitely enough to have me craving the whole story!
I can already tell this book will be great. I am a huge fan of Abby Jimenez and this is another classic of hers.
When Daniel saves Alexis by towing her car out of a ditch, they don't expect to see each other ever again. However, when they run into each other at the one bar in Daniel's tiny hometown and agree to leave together to rub it in his friends' faces, he offers to make her dinner and promises to not have sex with her. The next thing Daniel knows, he has woken up naked and Alexis is gone.
Jimenez does what she does best: relatable heroine, sexy hero and snappy dialogue to make you swoon and laugh out loud.
The preview chapters were such a tease! Alexis is driving back from a funeral when she gets into a ditch. Daniel is driving by and pulls her out. Shortly after they find each other again when she stops at the local VFW and hit it off right away. When Daniel wakes the next morning Alexis is gone. I
In just a few short chapters the author has managed to completely pull me into the story. The characters are well developed and I can already picture their role in how this story develops. I can’t wait to see how this plays out!
Abby Jimenez has consistently written some uniquely interesting characters and this is no less compelling. I loved the main character’s family legacy tension and am looking forward to how the age gap and the career struggle play out in the rest of the book!
Loved the preview and can’t wait to read more. This is my first by this author and I love d her writing style.
This was a very short preview but interesting introduction to the characters. Looking forward to reading this story when it’s out!
This was not enough of the book to be able to read!!!! I can't wait until I can get my hands on a finished copy!
Loved the preview. I am so excited for the full book, April is so far away. I love that we were already introduced to a whole cast of characters, I think they always really add a lot to the plot. I am interested to see where the story goes. I want the whole book now!!
I smiled the entire time reading this. Abby's writing draws you right in. Quirky characters + small town + Banter and chemistry = big win for me. I look forward to reading the whole book.
I cannot wait for the rest of this book! I should have known 4 chapters for Abbys writing wasn’t going to be enough!
Adore Daniel and Alexis already!
Oh man! What a tease!! I can’t wait to read the rest of this one-it sounds like it’s going to be so much fun!
Alexis is worldly and successful and makes a stop at a little town when her car skids on some ice and gets stuck in the snow bank. A super nice guy named Daniel comes along and gets her out of the ditch and there are sparks between them but then they go their separate ways until they coincidentally meet up at the local bar where Daniel and his friends have a bet that one of them can take her home since she’s an outsider in their one horse town. Alexis agrees to go home with Daniel just so he can win the bet and then they’ll be even for pulling her out of the ditch. That’s as far as the preview goes but I liked what I read.
Thanks to Forever and NetGalley for this preview of one of my most anticipated reads of 2022.
This preview is an excellent teaser - I can't wait to read the latest from Abby Jimenez and already pre-ordered this one!
I was only granted to read a preview, of the first four chapters. The fourth chapter left me wishing I had the book to continue reading! The author has a nice writing style that is easy to follow. The characters are very memorable and fun. Would be a great book to have on a sunny day at the beach to read.
Alexis’s car gets stuck in a ditch on the side of the road, and as she’s waiting for a tow truck a stranger stops and offers to tow her out or she’ll be waiting for hours. Once she’s out she stops at a bar down the road for some food and runs into the same guy. A chance meeting turns into Alexis helping Daniel win a bet by leaving with her. I loved the little intro to Alexis and Daniel and can’t wait to continue reading their story, and find out what happens with a baby goat!
Just from the first four chapters I can already tell the rest of the book is going to be great! The witty banter between Alexis and Daniel is so good. Abby Jimenez has a way of making you fall in love with her characters so easily. Her writing style is so charming and fun to read. Alexis and Daniel are clearly people from totally different worlds, but they are clearly drawn to each other.
As expected, the first four chapters really drew me in. There’s enough to really like Alexis and Daniel, and there’s so much more I can’t wait to learn. The writing was good and I could picture the characters already. A great intro.
After reading the first four chapters, I cannot wait for this book to be released. It starts with a vehicle mishap and a dog, which seem to be author trademarks. The humorous dialogue and character chemistry make Abby's books so enjoyable, and this one looks no different. Prepare for the eventual heart grab and twist because you have become seriously invested in the characters.
