The moment Abby Jimenez announced that this book was on Netgalley, I knew that I wanted to read at least the sample chapters of it. This is one of my most anticipated books of 2022 and below is my honest review of the first four chapters.

In this book, we follow Alexis who just drove her car into a ditch while trying not to hit a racoon. She calls for a tow truck, but the wait time is about an hour. Then she calls her best friend, Bri, to explain the situation when a man (with his dog!) comes along and offers to tow her out. While the man (whose name we learn is Daniel) gets ready to pull her out, Bri and Alexis are talking about family and relationship problems.

Later on, Daniel and Alexis end up at the same bar (arrived at separate times). And Daniel's friend, Doug, places a bet that Daniel can't walk out the bar with Alexis. Daniel declines to participate, but tells Alexis that Doug is planning this bet with the other dudes in the bar. Alexis says "hey, if we walk out together, we both can get money." And so they do. AND THAT'S WHERE THE SAMPLE ENDS.

To be completely honest, I wish I had this book in my hands right now. I don't normally preorder books until I've read them (because I'm a poor college student), but after I finish this review, I'm going to preorder this book.

Off the bat, you can tell it's a city girl/country boy trope. But in this case, Daniel ("country boy") doesn't seem like an a-hole to Alexis ("city girl"). The only thing I hate about this trope is when the guy is really mean to the girl for having a different lifestyle than him, but that doesn't seem to be the case for this book. Daniel seems like a genuinely sweet and nice guy. Alexis also seems like a nice, not stuck-up city girl. Granted, this was only sample of the book, but their personality seem to shine through.

Overall, I am EXTRA excited to get this book into my hands. I'm almost annoyed at myself for teasing myself like this because now I have to wait until April to read the whole thing.

Abby Jimenez has always been an auto buy . She is THE BEST. Her books are just so good . This was no exception . After reading the first 4 chapters , it left me wanting more. Can't wait to read the whole thing , when it is released .

Loved it sad that it only had 4 chapters to preview will definitely be purchasing upon release.. It did have quite a few typographical error’s. Overall it was an enjoyable read. I know I’m going to fly through the 400 pages fast!

This preview was so cute and it really left me wanting more! I am looking forward to the day it gets released so I can continue reading it. Alexis and Daniel seem like such good characters and I am excited to see how they develop.

Every book I've read by Abby Jimenez has never disappointed and from the first 4 chapters, I can already tell this will be my favorite. Both characters are funny and I love their interactions so far. I can't wait till the rest of the book comes out.

I love Abby Jimenez's books and I can't wait to read the rest of Part of Your World. Liz is fun, spunky, and careful - there's a backstory there that I can't wait to read. Daniel seems to be an all around nice guy who takes care of people, is a total hotty, and has a baby goat! The first four chapters flew by and I can't wait until the whole book comes out so I can learn more about these two.

I received an advance preview copy of chapters 1-4 for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Absolutely loved the preview. This just got me more excited for the book, I cannot wait for the release!

Okay I NEEEED the full version. Now! One of my favorite authors again and I can’t wait to read the rest!

I’m ashamed to say that I haven’t read any of the author’s works but was told that this can be read as a stand-alone and that it’s a light retelling of Little Mermaid! I was completely sold and after reading the Preview, I’m even more excited to read this and am confident that I’ll enjoy it. If I do, will definitely go through Abby’s backlisted titles!

I can not wait for this book to come out. I can already tell from the preview that Abby Jimenez is going to deliver deep characters that you can't help but fall in love with.

I mainly picked this up for the book cover but god DANG this was such a fun ride! It was great curling up in my bed while doing online school and just getting sucked into the characters’ world and their relationships

AGH I am SO excited or this book. Daniel and Alexis in just a couple chapters have SO much chemistry and I am so excited or this book to come out. Abby Jimenez can do no wrong :)

Ah I cannot wait for this book to come out! The preview is so good. As always, Abby Jimenez has a way with character description and development. I love the chemistry between Alexis and Bri (bffs) and Daniel seems like he is going to be one of those characters that stick with you for a while.

I know this is just a preview, but I can already tell this book is going to be AMAZING. 4 chapters is such a tease, and I cant wait for pub day!

I need more of this book! The first four chapters ARE NOT ENOUGH!! Abby Jimenez is such a witty and fun author and her stories are ALWAYS 10/10. Her characters and their connections are deep and meaningful, while also giving you all the feels and making your heart so happy. Cannot wait until the release of this book and I am so excited to finish reading!

This preview hooked me! I wasn't sure I liked Alexis at first but the switching perspectives chapter by chapter won me over. Daniel seems like a sweet Townie with an ace in his pocket: a baby goat, Chloe. I feel there is an age gap but this isn't explored in the preview. I'm so excited to read this when it comes out!

Ugh at this point I will read the telephone book if it has Abby Jimenez's name as the author. I have loved each book she's written and 4 chapters of this one is just enough of a tease to guarantee I will read it within a day, wake up my husband by cackling loudly in the middle of the night, probably get my heart broken a little, and become the proud owner of a baby goat because IS THERE ANYTHING CUTER? I can't wait to read the whole thing.

I was excited to preview Part of Your World by Abby Jimenez. ( chapters 1-4)
I was drawn into the story from the very beginning. I really appreciate books that can get you SO interested from the first paragraph that you can’t put the book down. The female character , Alexis, is stuck in a ditch and Daniel happens to come along to help. They see each other again later at a bar and the story just keeps getting interesting with the bet, the funny banter between them and of course there is a baby goat mixed in there. Abby Jimenez can really paint you a picture with her words. This story is so easy to visualize. I can’t wait to read the whole book!!!!
