Please tell me this is a Little Mermaid retelling. PLEASE. As a fellow Ariel, the title caught my eye of course, but then the heroine has red hair?? These first 4 chapters were so freaking adorable. And the hero Daniel is swoon worthy to the extreme -- and I must say, they were right, if a guy's tinder profile was a picture of a baby goat and a telephone number, he'd be bombarded with right swipes! The fact that the "bet" trope was subverted was also a delight -- so many green flags! I definitely want to finish this book. It's rare to find a romance book with a heroine around my age, so I am excited to read this book in its entirety.

After an uncomfortable, too, long road trip from a funeral, Alexis (FMC) lands herself in a ditch in the middle of nowhere. A handsome local comes to her rescue while caught in an awkward position - one of several comedic moments. Alexis stumbles into her rescuer at the local bar - Daniel (MMC), and discovers he is modestly the Mayor of the small town of Wakan. From then, there are other fun small-town characters. The flirtation unexpectedly builds between Alexis and Daniel as their evening continues.

This preview read is a charming, sweet, and funny introduction. I’m eager to find out what happens next with Alexis and Daniel. I cackled out loud at the “Extreme” reference!

This book is insanely good. Abby Jimenez has quickly became one of my favorite authors. The romance between Alexis and Daniel is swoon-worthy, but the character development is top-notch. I always know I'm going to get a great read when I pick up something from Jimenez.

I loved this little sample of the story! I did read the entire book when it came out and Abby will always remain one of my favorites. The characters in this book were absolutely delightful and I enjoyed seeing characters and references from previous books.

Alexis and Daniel and love, mixed with family expectations, are at the center of this novel. This talented and gifted author has written a cannot put down romance. This book was sent to me electronically by Netgalley for review. Thanks to the publisher and the author. The story moves quickly, and the characters are realistic. This would make a great movie. Enjoy

Absolutely loved this and I am not typically a romance reader. I feel like Abby writes romance for non-romance readers and she is great at it! Looking forward to her next book very much!! Characters in this one were great, LOVED the plot, novel had funny and serious moments and it was just delightful.

Part of Your World is easily one of my top five favorite reads of 2022. (Out of a field of 255 books). The term RomCom gets bandied about on practically every contemporary romance now, which is only accurate to genre conventions about 5% of the time.

That is not the case with Abby Jimenez. Like her peers Lucy Score, Tessa Bailey, Christina Lauren, and Emily Henry, Jimenez is legitimately funny and balances out heavy topics with grace and humor.

Part of Your World packs in a lot of tropes and elements I’m looking for in contemporary. The aforementioned humor is crucial. But also we have a successful, mature heroine and a slightly younger, kind-hearted cinnamon roll hero to cheer for on their way to the Happily Ever After.

You will want these two people to end up together, even when it seems impossible, because they are fundamentally perfect for each other inside…external issues be damned.

I enjoyed this book enough to listen to it first on audio (with the fabulous Julia Whelan) and then bought a physical copy to keep and read again. As a person who only reads very special books more than once, that’s a big deal.

I’d recommend Part of Your World for anyone who needs a good laugh and also a sniffle or two in a contemporary romance.

After discovering Abby Jimenez in 2022, I cannot get enough of her work. I started by listening to her audiobooks prior to Part of Your World releasing, and she is an instant auto buy author for me. I officially own The Friend Zone, The Happily Ever After Playlist, and Life's Too Short on audio, while I cant wait to get the paperback copies for my physical collection. There wasn't an audiobook I didn't fall in love with. Her narration choices are immaculate, and I think that is why I have such a connection to this world she's created for her readers. I was so excited for POYW, I knew I would obviously listen to this on audio when I got the chance, but fell in love instantly with the preview of of this read. I was so excited we were getting a few new characters, and she would go about creating another separate "abby-verse" to live for the next couple books. The tropes have created such interesting tales and the way she wraps them all into a whole world is outstanding. I love how Abby tackles real life issues that can be tragic and meaningful to some readers. I will never not ready an Abby Jimenez book, so if that helps any romance reader our there with their decision to pick up even one of her books, I would be happy. You will experience a roller coaster of emotions while reading, but it will always be worth it!

This is just a preview chapter, but I did end up reading the whole book because the first chapter just sucked me in!
Abby Jimenez has done it again! Another loveable story with all your favorites: an extremely likable MC, a sexy, sweet, crush worthy man, a funny ride or die BFF, an improbable love story, a quaint MN town, a sassy dog and some Easter eggs from her previous books! Loved the whole thing. The audio is 🔥as always. The narration team of Julia Whelan and Zachary Webber was a chef's kiss 😘 Zachary Webber has narrated the male parts on all her books and he is great!
I'm looking forward to Bri’s story!

So I actually already bought this book but I saw I could get a teaser in eBook format and since I only had the book physically and I haven't gotten around to reading it yet I figured putting a preview of it on my Kindle would kick me into reading it and OMG FROM JUST THESE 4 CHAPTERS I AM HOOKED.

I had a feeling adding the book preview would get me to start reading the book but I didn't think it would get me so addicted, especially how Chapter 4 ends! I definitely need to go get my physical copy out and start reading because Alexis and Daniel need each other.

These 4 chapters alone have already told me this book is a must-read and I CANNOT wait to read the rest of it.

Alexis and Daniel have one probably the funniest meet cute I've seen in awhile, Daniel finds Alexis after she's gone off road, when he finds her she just so happens to be trying to get herself out of her shapewear. The first couple of Chapters of this book have me completely hooked and I'm super excited to read the rest of the novel!

What a fun book to read. Alexis and Daniel had such a rare meeting and we all know they say opposites attract. Boy is there ever an attraction with these two.

Seriously, how can you go wrong with dogs and baby goats?

I've been seeing this book everywhere and I thought I would see what all the hype is about. I previewed the first four chapters and I was hooked. Of course it left off on a cliffhanger. Needless to say, I will be getting a copy of this book and see where Alex and Daniel end up.
Also; I do like reading both point of views, instead of one sided.
This book is beautifully well written.

Abby Jimenez keeps getting better and better. Part of Your World is her best book to date. It takes talent to write a story that is laugh out loud funny, romantic, and deep at the same time. But she did it! All of Jimenez’s books deal with very serious issues—this one tackles domestic partner abuse, both emotional and physical. It’s a heavy topic and I have previously been frustrated with how authors handle it, but Jimenez did such a good job here. Believe women!

Alexis and Daniel were a sweet unlikely pairing, and I appreciated that this book acknowledges that moving to a small town doesn’t automatically make things easier—you still have to work for it.

I just want go add that Jimenez is SO GOOD at writing the male perspective. I don’t typically like dual perspective books because the men always either (1) feel like a caricature of masculinity, or (2) think too much like a woman. But Jimenez’s men feel like real men, if that makes any sense.

Five stars!

I wish this wasn’t a preview and it was the whole book. I want very much to continue with the story. These four chapters were delightful and I will be going to get myself a copy.

This book was adorable, I loved all the quirky animals in this and the characters! Alexis and Daniel were so cute, I loved Alexis as a heroine, she felt so relatable and Daniel was absolutely swoon worthy. Reading this and then finding out that Abby Jimenez's next book is about Briana made me so excited! I loved the word these characters lived in.

I wasn't sure what this book was about and I kept seeing the cover everywhere. So I read the first four chapters and now I’m craving the whole book.

This book is enticing…

Small Town girl drives into a ditch and gets stuck at night. A tall, handsome guy driving by stops and tows her car out of the ditch. She thanks him and they go their separate way. Fast forward they meet again at a diner and things kick off. He charms her so much that they end up going to his place. When he wakes up, she’s gone…poof. What a cliffhanger.

The writing is so easy to read. I'm only four chapters in the book and I love everything about it so far. This book does a great job balancing the dual pov. Honestly, there’s nothing I don’t like about this story. Can’t wait to read more once I find a copy!

Aside from the trigger warnings of domestic physical and emotional abuse (which impressed me that the book supplied help resources for), this was such a heartbreakingly sweet HEA romance! The prose was impeccable in its humour, tenderness, and simplicity, and the MCs were pure gold! Their dialogue was witty and warm and left room for the reader to have emotional reactions to. The secondary characters (family and friends) painted the juxtaposition of Alexis’ and Daniel’s lives perfectly as well (I especially am a huge fan of Bree’s). I cried, I laughed, and I will definitely be re-reading this book again.

What a fun book! I loved this author and am now on a mission to read more of her books. Alexis and Daniel have chemistry. They are so right for each other and yet their family backgrounds make them so wrong for each other. Their love for each other must breaks through those social boundaries,

I recieved this from netgalley in exchange for a honest review. This was a preview of 4 chapters. I couldnt put it down even though it was so short but I loved it.

After going into a ditch after a funeral. Alexis finds herself getting pulled out of a ditch by a nice because the tow truck driver is currently at the local bar getting drunk. Daniel and his friends are at the bar when she arrives. His friends try to make a bet with him to see who she would go home with. Her world is turned upside down after a grilled cheese and cuddles with a baby goat. They are complete opposites.

That's all that's in the first 4 chapters but I cant wait to read the rest of the book.
