I loved this book. The first few chapters gave me just enough to have me intrigued and I went on to finish this book. I loved the tie in of different locations and lifestyles of the two main characters and this was definitely a romance book that I could not put down.
I haven't read any Abby Jimenez before, although she's been on my list for ages, so I was glad to get the opportunity to preview this one. I really enjoy her writing style and these first few chapters hooked me! I'm looking forward to reading the rest of it!
This was the perfect preview for Abby's most recent release. I read it prior to preordering and it sold me from the preview!
I have read all of Abby Jimenez’s books so I was excited to read this preview of her new book, Part of Your World. Thanks to Abby, NetGalley, and Forever(Grand Central) Publishing for the e-ARC preview of the book in exchange for a review.
This book has sizzle from the beginning with the MCs. I like that Abby Jimenez is not afraid to have strong, female characters though Alexis has been beat down a lot by her ex. Daniel seems like a breath of fresh air that she needs. I enjoyed the age difference but Alexis harped on it a lot. Daniel seems a lot more mature than her older ex. I giggled seeing the mention of a former “villain” in one of Abby’s books, now partnered with Alexis‘ brother.
I cannot wait to read the rest of the book. I really enjoyed this preview.
Abby Jimenez has been a hit or miss author for me having had a love/hate relationship with the first two “Friend Zone” novels, but the description of PART OF YOUR WORLD pulled me in like the others didn’t and the preview chapters made me glad I gave it a chance. I’m definitely looking forward to reading the rest of this novel.
The ending of this preview HURT ME. But also bravo because now I really want to read this book (too bad my copy is at home over 1000 miles away... sigh.)
This book I can easily tell is wonderful. The characters are charming and cool. The dialogue is really the greatest strength. It flows well, it's entertaining, and it gives a better sense of what the characters are like. I am so eager to read more! Also, he owns a freaking baby goat??? I'd swipe right on that on Tinder in a heartbeat.
This was a great addition to the series and I really enjoy the emotional roller coaster that Abby Jimenez always takes me on!
This was only a sample of a few chapters so while I cannot give a full review I can say it was a fun start. I like the flow and it hooked me to get the entire book on my own.
Abby Jimenez can do no wrong. As with previous books, the characters in Part of Your World are entertaining, complex, funny and strong at the same time. There's something about her books that just sets them apart from others like them. Abby is so smart in the way she writes and gives her characters such unique qualities - you just want to get to know them better.
This book has a really good start! I am intrigued so far and can't wait to read more! This book has an age gap between the make and female mcs and I enjoyed how this book still related to Abby's first three books (Lola Simone).
This is a cute beginning of a story. It is definitely intriguing enough to get me to read the whole book.
This was a perfect little snippet of Part of Your World. I have heard so much about the author Abby Jimenez and not only this book but her previous works. I am excited to read this book in its entirety. The characters seem loveable and I am curious how their love story will unfold.
This preview was so good! I can not wait to purchase a finished copy! From the few chapters I was able to read, I already love the characters, setting, writing and plot!
I’m obsessed with Abby’s work. Her characters are relatable and funny. I highly recommend you pick up this book. I can’t wait to see what happens next
I love love love Abby Jimenez so picking this one up was a no-brainer for me.
I was obsessed with this unlikely pairing from the start. Daniel and Alexis are from different worlds, yet after a chance encounter and a “one” time thing, they decide they enjoy each other’s company and keep spending time together. Daniel is trying to keep his family’s legacy alive running his small town’s bed and breakfast, and Alexis is trying to please her parents by keeping their family name in the running at the hospital where they’ve worked for over 125 years.
It also touched on more serious topics of emotional abuse and domestic violence, which added depth to the romance. My heart felt for Alexis and Daniel so much!
The ending is what made the book for me, though. No spoilers of course, so you’ll have to read it for yourself!
I cannot wait for the next installment, Bri’s story set to come out next summer!
This preview of Part of Your World was amazing and made me want to read the book even more! Just enough to dip your toe in!
Thank you Netgalley & Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for the chance to read the preview chapters of Part of Your World.
The few chapters that were available to read were an extreme slow burn and unfortunately they didn't leave much of an impression. I felt bored reading the novel and neither of the characters popped off the pages but read more a flat than 2D.
The first few chapters also don't give sense of what the novel is suppose to be about which leaves more questions as to who exactly the characters are or what kind of background they have. Besides the main female mc being rich/wealthy and the male mc being the mayor/general nice person, there's nothing that give a clear tone for the novel or what a main conflict maybe.
Unfortunately I'm not interested in finishing the rest or seeing where the novel goes.
This little snippet did its job wonderfully, because as soon as I finished I immediately put it on hold at the library! I felt a bit dropped in to the story, but not in a way that bugged me. Based on the synopsis and the few chapters I read, I'm excited to see where this book goes.
This preview left me wanting MORE! This is a small town romance where girl from busy city and every busier life meets a small town boy. The town is adorable and so are all of the characters! I seriously can't wait to read the rest of this one!
Cute concept, cute couple, cute cover. Just a solid option. Not one I’d personally buy, however I think a lot of people would enjoy
