Cosy crime at its best. An easy read that was light but still had a good amount of suspense and mystery. This book had me guessing right up until the end and I didn’t come close to the actual murderer. A truly well thought out plot.
I really like the characters and can see this being a series I will enjoy as it grows. I am already interested to know what will happen in book 3.
Definitely a book to read on dark winter nights when you want something to distract you.
Belinda and Harry are back , and I’m glad they are !
Wine tasting organised by Belinda is taking place in Little Challham , and as you would expect all doesn’t go according to plan and a murderer is among them in the village.
I love the the easy reading nature of this book , and the principal characters are well rounded and likeable . Belinda is more amiable in this story than the first book in the series, and I look forward to the next instalment.
This cozy mystery is perfect , so sit back and immerse yourself in Little Challham and all it has to offer .
Thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture.

Wine Anyone…?..
The second outing in the Belinda Penshurst Mysteries set in the enchanting village of Little Challham where all is peaceful and serene - or is it…? An organised wine tasting turns deadly and Belinda finds herself in the middle of mayhem once again and perfectly placed to investigate. With a colourful and eccentric cast of characters and a fun storyline this is enjoyable cosy crime, some ideal escapism and a worthy follow on from the first in this new series
Belinda Penshurst loves her home village Little Challham, and its charming, peaceful ways. So when wine critic Sadie Oppenshaw dies at a tasting Belinda organised, she immediately turns detective to uncover the poisoner…
A wonderful murder mystery story that had me enthralled from start to finish
This was just a lovely book, I have now read both books in the series. It was such a cozy read I really needed to finish it in one session so was wrapped up in a quilt on a cold winter's day being very envious of the summer descriptions. There were so many red herrings and the ending was just perfect.
Learnt a lot about the English wine scene.
The author had developed the two lead characters and the scenery was so well described.
I just loved it and fully recommend it.
I was given an advance copy by netgalley and the publishers but the review is entirely my own.
