This is a super adorable graphic novel. I loved the connection to Wink, also by Rob Harrell and that he was able to take the comic from that novel and adapt it into a graphic novel. This series will be loved by any kid who loves to read graphic novels.

First, they encounter Time Guy when time completely stops and traps them in math class studying fractions. Batpig defeats Time Guy and restores order and a bit of fun and respect to their school.
Then, readers see Brooklyn and Carl in The Aquarium Store and learn more about what scares Carl. They also see how caring Brooklyn and Gary are in secretly helping their friend.
The last story combines meeting a famous actor, aliens visiting Earth and a giant Bumblekitten. How can this go wrong?
Harrell applies enough humor and absurdity to entertain upper elementary and middle grade readers with the antics of these three friends. The artwork brings out details to enhance the dialogue. Readers see how much these three care for each other and those around them.
This book won't stay on the shelf in school libraries. Looking forward to more adventures.
