I love this SO much! It is perfect for anyone with kids or teachers to use in a classroom! I love that different cultures are represented and that I was introduced to women I had not heard about before. Being a climate warrior is so important right now and this book shows women who are just that. I love the illustrations as well, great book!

This book tells the stories of women, who with their ingenuity and commitment tried and try to protect the earth.
I liked the selection of the women since I got to learn about women and their work that I had never heard off.
As always with these books the illustrations were perfect.
I highly recommend it for everyone!!

Another great Rebel Girls book! This one is chock full of beautiful illustrations of girls and women around the world who have worked/ are working on environmental conservation in many different ways. I had never heard of many of these impressive ladies. Love how the entries are written like fairytales (once upon a time...) Some of my favorite entries are on Angelina Arora, Esohe Ozigbo, and Marjory Stoneman Douglas, but they all sound like strong amazing people. Definite recommend for young girls.

Such an inspiring book for young girls to begin advocating against climate change. I’m so glad there are stories like these accessible to young ladies now that could change the world.

Thank you Netgalley and Rebel Girls for a copy of this book.

I have been a fan of the rebel girls series and I wish I had books like these growing up. I recommend them to young and adults both- it's a beautiful journey reading this book.

Thank you to Netgalley and Rebel Girls for the ARC of this!

Spectacular as always, I loved the illustrations and the stories were diverse and easy for my kids to follow and pay attention to. Speaking about one titular rebel girl : “she read a statistic that really bothered her: less than 1 percent of environmental professionals were people of color” I don’t know how much that has changed since a budding environmentalist read it, but I do know that this book definitely does not make that feel like the case. It was full of stories of Indigenous, Asian, Hispanic, and Black women all working towards saving the environment. I loved that I got to learn about new people (the only ones familiar to me were Wangari Maathai, Greta Thunberg, and Margaret Atwood). Recommend for anyone who’s been loving the rebel girls books and anyone who is interested in climate based activism.

This is the second Rebel Girls book that I have read and I am absolutely loving this series. As a former elementary school teacher, I have noticed that kids sometimes pass up nonfiction books because they can come across as “clinical” sometimes.

However, this book is the exact opposite. Children will love the colorful illustrations of the climate warriors and their stories will inspire them to make changes that will impact the world.

I also loved that this book included activities at the end. The activities are perfect to complete as a family on the weekends or on school breaks.

This book was a quick, knowledgable and inspirational read. I'm so happy that young girls have access to books like this, and I especially love the coverage of climate change and how it gives them the inspiration to become more environmentally friendly knowing what other girls have achieved.

This is a book that all of us should read, not just those who are younger. The stories in this book show just how much good can be accomplished by doing even the simplest of things to make the world we live in better. It teaches them how even though they are young, they can still have an impact. It also shows them how that can help others as well. I hope this is a book that parents read to their children to help them see that the climate crisis is real but there are people who are working hard to leave them a world that is not only safe but one where they can enjoy all the wonders of the plant and animal kingdoms.

Thank you, NetGalley for the chance to read this book!

What an inspiring book! I'm sure when I have time I'll look for these women's instagram/newsletters and check out more of their work!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this advanced copy.

In true Rebel Girls fashion, this book takes a look at important women who dared to make a difference with the climate. The book itself is absolutely beautiful. With a full page drawing of each of the women and the facing page bearing information about said woman. I loved to see that with some of the women, they added a QR code so girls could scan and read more about the hero. Towards the end of the book, there is a part for the reader to write their own story and ways to "celebrate nature" aka become better keepers of the climate.
These books are such a powerful way to tell young girls, and boys too, that women make a difference in the world. They are all perfect gifts for the budding reader.
Many thanks to Net Galley for providing me with an ARC of this book.

Rebel Girls: Climate Warriors at least has some women (girls) that I've heard of! The fact that this is even a book tells us how important the subject is to children these days. The fact they can see young people who can make a difference (whatever their gender) is important.
I like the single page format, you can look up online to find out more about them.

Another amazing Rebel Girls book for your #bookshelves - the illustrations in this one may be my favourite to date !! One of the things I love about the Rebel a girls books is the diversity representation and this one does not disappoint on that front - whether it be race, age, occupation

This is a fun and exciting little book. I got it to read with my daughters and I think they would enjoy it. Seeing so many women to follow in their footsteps. Some not even that much older than my daughters. I really enjoyed the layout and the illustrations. Overall it was a fantastic book.

It is in these pages I find kindred spirits. It is nice to know that there are others out there who believe in saving the planet and innovating to get away from burning fossil fuels. I always feel surrounded by people that don’t care or pay attention to these things, so it’s nice to know I’m not alone. Of course, these remarkable women and girls are all way more inspiring than anything I have done is. It is sad that there are not more pages to this little book, we all need to be activists for Earth. Maybe there can be a second edition one day with even more remarkable women doing the hard work of fighting for our 🌎. Everyone should make time to read about these leaders. It literally takes about 30 minutes to read. Review posted to Goodreads, LibraryThing, Litsy, Facebook, and Instagram .

In paperback format, this eye opening account of 25 woman explains how the world’s leading activists, authors, and scientists are helping combat climate change. I spotted a few recognizable names like Greta Thunberg and Margaret Atwood, but most were my first introduction to their work.

Each outstanding individual is given a two-page spread with their story opposite an illustrated picture. Learn how Zoologist Lucy King figured out an ingenious way for elephants and farmers to live side by side; How Anne Hidalgo became the mayor of Paris and enacted many environmental policies; or discover Angelina Arora who has created a plastic that breaks down in just 33 days (compared to 400 years) and the chemicals actually help plants grow.

It’s exciting to see most of these woman were inspired by what they experienced in their younger life as middle graders and teens. Dreams can become realities.

Along the way are extra QR codes that lead to audio stories of other trailblazing women. Bonus material in the back page invite readers to create their own story and portrait. Next comes a CELEBRATE NATURE piece with activities to learn about and advocated for nature and wildlife. The last page has many ideas to LIVE GREEN.

Rebel Girls—Climate Warriors is an inspiring look at what one can do with purpose and drive. Most important, it will inspire others to do the same.

I was kindly invited by Rebel Girls to read this ARC on Netgalley.

I absolutely loved it. I'm very passionate about climate change issues and the stories in this book were very inspiring. I hope they inspire future generations.

I love the 'Rebel Minis' series as you can pick specific subjects that you or your child might be more interested in.
I also really appreciate that they all include tasks that kids (or adults) can do at the end of the book and there is also an app where you can find out more about some of the people featured in the books. However it isn't available on android yet!

This incredible book tells the story of 25 incredible women who are protecting our planet as best they can, while encouraging and inspiring so many others to do the same. I love that this book includes a vast selection of warrior women like Margaret Atwood, Great Thunberg, Bernice Notenboom, Nemonte Nenquimo, Isatou Ceesay, and many more! We get a page on each woman with some of them giving a QR code so that we can learn more. Each woman gets their story told like a fairytale adventure that’s sure to capivate any child’s imagination, adults too! Definitely recommend giving this one a read.

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for a copy of this one in exchange for my honest review,.
