Another home-run for the Rebel Girls! I loved the collection of inspirational stories of women of all ages who are frontrunners in the fight against climate change. Instead of just inspiring girls, I think this collection will also empower and motivate them to join the climate change movement.

Loved how this one differed from the other collections I read and focused on one area of expertise. Also got a lot of inspiration from it for myself and found some climate warriors I'll be following myself :)

Continuing in the best-selling format - here are the smaller specialist books - this one focusing on Women protecting the earth - including some younger girls as well.

As always impeccably illustrated with just enough information to keep your interest and provide an overview on the topic.

A new feature is the "scan me" for some of the stories which leads to a downloadable "Rebel Girls" app with snippets of the stories - in order to get the full stories you need to pay which is a little deceptive.

My students and I are big fans of the 'Rebel Girls' books and with the growing focus our younger generations have on climate change and global warming this book will be a new delight for them. They'll follow along 25 beautifully written and illustrated stories highlighting the small and large steps women around the world have taken to help protect the world for future generations.

I knew right away that I wanted to read this book.

I’ve always enjoyed educational books, but most of the time I’d find them too hard to understand. Rebel Girls makes learning about these courageous women easy and fun. This book takes it very seriously to inspire young people, to tell them that just like these women, they can do more.

Once again, Rebel Girls has a winner of a book. This time Rebel Girls has turned the focus onto 25 “women who protect the earth.’ You may have heard of some of them: Greta Thunberg and Rachel Carson, for example. But many of these women will be new to you and your young reader. Women from many different countries are profiled, each one getting a one-page short bio and a lovely illustration (all illustrations are by female artists). Some of the new-to-me women include Angelina Arora (Australia), Danni Washington (USA), sisters Ella and Caitlin McEwan (UK), Isatou Ceesay (The Gambia), and Lucie Pinson (France).

Thank you to NetGalley and Rebel Girls for the opportunity to read an advance readers copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

This book sends such a powerful message. I am ashamed to admit I only knew 2 out of these 25 women but I think it is a very good thing that women are getting the attention that they deserved. The first books focused on very famous and powerful women and so it makes sense that now they are moving to women who are not as well-known but that definitely should be.

As always, the illustrations are beautiful and the format is perfect for girls who are already big readers and also for those who are not big readers but either want to get into reading or just want to read about interesting women.

A book with a powerful message for the younger generations (or anyone, really). Change can be made, you only have to start. Everyone can contribute at least a little bit in order to improve the lives of many.

I also enjoyed reading about environmental pioneers, their marvellous ideas and their ingenuity. I'd recommend this book to just about anyone even remotely interested in the environment, global warming, life on our planet or the lives of amazing women.

I love all of these Rebel Girls books! This one in particular talks about so many great women that are lesser known in the mainstream which I love because it gives readers the opportunity to read a bit of their story and then seek out more information about them.

The Rebel Girls series is the best idea ever. I had all of them! Some in the paper (mostly polish ones), some not, but still these stories are the greatest for not only my little daughter but for me as well.

This version: Climate warriors is one of my favorites. Why? The answer is simple. I wish my daughter will be one of the climate warriors as well. I wish to see her generation fighting and understand what really matters. I dream of young people who decide to take care of the Earth and believe that they have the power to change the world.

Stories of these women are a great inspiration. 25 extraordinary girls who had an idea and wanted to do something better, different. Small steps turned into a significant change.

25 different women. Different ages, origins, professions, skin color, educational backgrounds. It does not matter cause the point to understand that they are able to do whatever they want and fight for a better world under any circumstances.

Mandatory book for all the young girls and their parents!

Having read almost every single published by the Rebel Girls team, I have run out of new things to say on their book reviews. But let me make one thing clear: this book is among their best releases so far, at least the top three if not the numero uno!

This collection has inspirational stories of twenty-five female “climate warriors” from around the world. I hadn’t heard of anyone here except for Greta Thunberg, Wangari Maathai and Margaret Atwood. (Yup, I was surprised too to see that last name.) Each of these girls/women has attempted to make a difference in a world that seems to no longer care for nature. They are courageous and inspiring, both qualities being much needed in today’s apathetic ocean of humanity. I was especially happy to see Purnima Devi Barman being included in the line-up.

The foreword by Cristina Mittermeier of SeaLegacy is wonderful. Towards the end of the book, there are small tips on how we can make a difference to ensure a better world for us and everyone else.

In the last two Rebel Girls books, I wasn’t very happy with the illustrations. This book gets it right once again, and how! The sketches of the women are as usual drawn by female visual artists from around the world. But what surprised me was to see that a couple of them were as young as 7 and 9! What talent!

I don’t need to say anything more. It’s Rebel Girls. It’s for a cleaner environment. It’s for a brighter future. It’s a must-read.

5 shiny stars.

My thanks to Rebel Girls and NetGalley for the DRC of “Rebel Girls Climate Warriors: 25 Tales of Women Who Protect the Earth”. This review is voluntary and contains my honest opinion about the book.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the eARC in exchange of my honest review. I'm big fan of Rebel Girls; It started with reading Good night Stories for rebel girls and haven't stopped reading rebel girls ever since.

As a woman in STEM, I always wondered when my books were filled male scientist, engineers, researcher and wonder why isn't there a female in them. Why the praises we here of our Women in our neighbourhood, our nations are more recognised. But Rebel Girls are taking one step at a time and bringing light to those unsung warriors. In this edition, we are introduced with 25 known & unknown warriors that took upon themselves to protect the earth and educating the world on it. The short snippets of stories are written flawlessly & Beautiful illustrations to help young readers.
It also includes the little barcodes, so we can scan and read in depth & more stories, activities.

I really loved the stories of Autumn Peltier & courageous behaviour to protect the water & stand-up for the things that really mattered to her & How Purnima Devi Barman helped preserved & save a wildlife & as well as creating & leading an army of woman to spread the same message.

Definity a quick, engaging & inspiring read for everyone!

These books continue to get better and better with more and more interesting and diverse women to pay homage to and learn about! I cannot get bored of this series and love each and every book I've read so far in this series.
Not only are these such important books for females to read today, but they are interesting, informative and insightful to the world around us, things that need to change and have been changed and inspiring the future generation of females to continue to do so!
These books need to be available in all school library's, public library's and even classrooms!!

How I love any and all editions of Rebel Girls! Here is a compelling new edition of girls and young women in the forefront of climate change. What do these humans see that most of their elected leaders don’t? That we need to fight harder for the world we are leaving them. It should be a gift no a punishment. I trust these young warriors.

As always the Rebel Girls series never disappoints! I especially liked learning about women and girls who have had an impact on the environment. As someone who has made numerous swaps to go plastic free and is very aware of my own impact on the environment I really appreciated learning about these influential women!

Can't wait for another book in this series!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of Rebel Girls Climate Warriors.

Once again... Rebel Girls does it again by introducing powerful climate changemakers. I have heard of some of the women but was introduced to many of them. All too often, the calls for reform with climate change fall on silent ears, so it was amazing to hear about the missions and passions of these women who seek to heal our Earth and land. I cannot wait to add this book to the classroom library.

The Rebel Girls books have never failed to educate and entertain me before. I’m happy to report that this one continues the streak!

Previous Rebel Girls books started out as general collections of diverse, amazing women. Now, the books narrow their focus, focusing on athletes, entrepreneurs, and climate activists.

The backgrounds of these women are as diverse and varied as the actions they take to protect our planet. There are examples of many steps, big and small that work to take care of the earth.. These women raise awareness of the effects of climate change in remote locales and petition to reduce hard plastic waste by fast food restaurants.

The text is simple, making for easy and quick reading. Each mini biography is accompanied by a gorgeous portrait from a variety of artists. The colors and styles are visually stunning.

At the end of the book are the calls to action, small things we can do in our daily lives to widen our knowledge and perception at the natural world. As well as actions we can do in our own lives to protect the Earth. The additions of QR codes at various places during the book only expands on the information offered. Although, I worry about the people who would enjoy this book but don’t have access to the technology for the codes.

I am greatly looking forward to adding this to my collection of Rebel Girls books that I share with my nibling.

I am very grateful to NetGalley and the publisher for the chance to read this ARC.
