Jess Michaels is one of my go to authors. She always delivers entertaining stories, this book is no exception. I liked the characters and their chemistry.

I loved this new instalment from a now must read author to me. The chemistry was felt throughout the story that flows easily and combined a romance story with some small suspenseful scenes. A great read overall that many readers of the genre will enjoy

Very grateful to the publisher for my review copy

I have read the other 2 book in this series and have to say that this one is my favorite thus far. The story features the playboy prince of Athawick, Prince Remington (aka "Remi") and wallflower of the ton Priscilla, only daughter of a Marquess's second son and complete disappointment to her father. As a note, it is possible to read this book as a standalone, but I would recommend reading them in order as the characters are all members of a family so they overlap the books often; this review may contain spoilers re the previous stories.

In the first book, Princess Ilaria journeyed with the rest of her royal family to London to introduce her oldest brother as the newly coronated King of Athawick to England's high society. While one of the goals was diplomatic in that they wanted to secure trading agreements and extend friendly relations with England, the royal family also hoped to form an alliance with an important family between the princess and a titled gentleman to solidify their presence. This story is of the royal family's return to the isle of Athawick for the nuptials of Ilaria and the man she fell in love with.

Priscilla is delighted to have been invited by her best friend, Ophelia, as a guest of Ophelia's brother who happens to be the Duke of Gilmore (he and his duchess are characters from the Three Mrs series that takes place right before these stories). Things at home have become increasingly difficult as her father and stepmother have made comments about discontinuing their sponsorship of Priscilla after another failed season. Her father has always expressed disappointment in her, but the pressure on her has doubled now that he is wed to a woman only a couple of years her senior, the same woman that looked down on Pris when they were both debutantes. She needs to escape. When discussing her uncertain future with her best friend, Ophelia suggests she set her sights on the king - that would certainly satisfy her father and get her away from her horrible family.

When Remi catches Pris attempting to flirt with his oblivious and far too serious brother, he offers to assist her in efforts to gain his attentions. But Remi realizes quickly that Pris makes him feel more than he has ever felt for any other woman, and he wants her for himself, though not for marriage as he has vowed to never wed. When Pris shares her plans to become a mistress to escape her father's disdain and asks Remi to teach her how to please a man, he agrees to be her very personal instructor. What will happen when Remi realizes he doesn't want Pris to find another protector and cannot imagine her in anyone else's arms but his? Will he be able to give up his lifestyle and settle down? And if so, will Pris ever believe his desire to do so is genuine given his reputation?

What I liked:
--- Likeable characters - the h was the kind the reader roots for as the wallflower underdog, and the prince was hiding behind a facade of frivolity without a meaningful role in the royal family
--- Story moved quickly; the blurb makes it sound like Pris set her cap for the king, but she really gives that up early on
--- Nice to be able to revisit the couples from the 2 earlier books and a solid set up for the remaining 2 books
--- STEAMY GOODNESS, yes please and thank you

What I didn't like as much:
--- Remi did a pretty quick 180, especially since he was purposefully keeping their romance physical so he could fight the unfamiliar emotional attachment he felt forming between them; he went from carefree bachelor to a man in love with little in between - I felt like there could have been a little more transition in there

This is my favorite of the series thus far, and I am looking forward to jumping into the next one as it features the best friend of the h from this book and the brother of the H (who happens to be the king) in an "enemies to lovers" kind of trope.

Plot --- 4.5/5
Main Characters --- 4.5/5
Supporting Cast --- 4/5
Steam Level* --- 4/5
Violence --- description of h's father and stepmother verbally abusing her; h tells story of a time her father hit her
Language --- some, not egregious
POV --- 3rd

*Note that steam level is not a rating so much as a how hot was it: 0/5 - clean; 1/5 - mild (nothing descriptive); 2/5 - 3rd base action/1 home run; 3/5 - now we're getting somewhere (a couple of full-on steamy scenes); 4/5 - yes please! (erotica territory); 5/5 - they did EVERYTHING in this one, y'all

The 3rd in the Regency Royals series. Lady Priscilla is in Athawick for a royal wedding, but her main goal is to escape from horrible family, by capturing the eye of King Grantham. She enlists the help of Prince Remi, the king's brother, but its Remi who begins to fall for her. After Priscilla realises nothing will eventuate between her and the King, it's plan B, find a protector and it's Remi who she turns for help to teach her the art of seduction. You know this trope and how this is going to go ...

An entertaining story, Looking forward to Lady Ophelia & King Grantham's book which is next.

3.5/5

Many thanks to the Publisher, the Author and NetGalley for an advance copy in return for my honest review.

Remi was such a great character, who makes Priscilla grow in self-confidence, the more time he spends with her. The relationships he shares with his sisters and his brother Grantham, also made for an interesting read. Overall loved this book!

Very sweet and hot couple!

This is my first book in the series. Loved the fictonal Athawick kingdom and the prince and king set there. Prince Remi is a second son the soare for the King his big brother. Purposeless and rebellious he has denied he'd act on or recognize anything such as love. For his sisters yes but not for him.

Enter the wallflower - curvy, too shy, and self conscious Priscilla. It was so sweet to see how they both bring the good on each other. He makes her feel wanted and secured safe. She makes him feel there is more than lust in the world for him and he can reach it.
And things get pretty hot. Prince Remi once in bed has a very dirty mouth. Lol.

I loved going thru their interactions. For anyone who wants to know the trope is where he agrees to help her by giving her lessons in carnal acts and pleasure.

And usually I'd go back for 1st and wnd but right now I'm already hooked on Grantham and Olivia looking for the next one.

I love Remi’s story! Always seen as frivolous, Remi just lets the world see what they want. Priscilla is in Athawick with her friends to escape her abusive family and hopes to find a husband or a protector while there. Remi agrees to help her learn flirtation so she can pursue his brother, the king, but instead they find themselves attracted to each other.

Great romance! Priscilla and Remi are both strong characters and they work well together. Grantham was slightly less annoying in this book, so I look forward to the story where he meets his match.

Thanks to the publisher for a review copy via NetGalley.

This is my favorite book out of the series— Bad boy prince falling for and seducing a wallflower. *Swoon* 😍 I loved every word! The kingdom of Athawick that Jess Michaels has created is turning out to be the place where love matches are made. As I have stated in many reviews one of my favorite type of characters are “bad boys or rouges who fall in love” - if there is some seduction of an innocent Miss also mixed in - perfection!!

I would change nothing about this story!

Jess Michaels never fails to delight with her historical romances. Splendid plot and characters make this a winning story.

A reliably good read from Jess Michaels with the charming, handsome and troubled Prince Remi or Remington of Athawick, struggling to find his place in his changing world, and the troubled wallflower, Lady Priscilla who has come to Athawick to attend the royal wedding between Sacha and Thomas.

Prince Remi is struggling to adjust to his changed relationship with his big brother who has ascended to the throne and has become stern and closed off as he struggles with his new responsibilities and the unrest that is brewing in the kingdom.

Remi meets Lady Priscilla at the palace. Suffering at the hands of a disinterested father and a cruel stepmother only a few years older than her, Pricilla has briefly escaped with her friend to Athawick, and is determined to either attract a husband, or become a courtesan to escape her difficult family. She makes a bargain with Remi, to get him to help her catch the eye of the king, but he only has an unwelcome fascination with her friend Lady Ophelia. Priscilla and Remi can’t keep away from each other, and even though Priscilla knows she will be burned by the encounter, she can’t stay away from Remi, how they both achieve their HEA, is beautifully realised as always by Jess Michaels, and the resolution for these two damaged and hurting characters is sweet, steamy and satisfying.

Recommended.

I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and all opinions are my own.

Jess Michaels is one of my favorite authors. She writes these passionate heroes and heroines that just leap out of the page. This book is no different. The hero Remi is a rake with a R. And our heroine lady Priscilla is a trapped Lady and a horrible family. Please two are fire. They’re attracted from the first moment that they made each other. I really enjoyed the story. And I can’t wait to read the following book.

Book 3 in the the latest series by Jess Michaels, was my favorite so far.

Make believe Kingdoms are not my favorite trope, but the likable hero, Prince Remington of Athawick, helped overcome that minor hiccup.

Remi was the most charming member of his family and was a perfect match for Lady Priscilla, who was looking for an escape from her odious family.

I loved the confidence Remi was able to instill in Priscilla as their romance blossomed!

After several failed seasons and no groom Miss Priscilla Linfield know her last chance is attending the Royal wedding on Athawick with her best friend Lady Ophelia, sister of the Duke of Gilmore. She sets her sites on King Graham, but it’s brother Prince Remington who captures her attention. Remi is at crossroads being the spare heir and decides his mother will turn to him next and attempt to find him a bride, so he offers to tutor Priscilla in the art of flirtation to catch her his brother, the King A fun story to read, with their witty banter to see the attraction between Priscilla and Remi grow. I’m looking forward looking Graham’s story! I have voluntarily read and reviewed the great book.

3.5 stars

I’m kind of on the fence about this book. While I liked the characters and the plot was fine, it seemed to lack depth or substance.

Priscilla Linfield travels to Athawick in search of a husband to appease her cruel father and step mother. She is with her friend Lady Ophelia and is hosted by the Duke and Duchess of Gilmore (Three Mrs. series, I recommend). Prince Remington has been the wild child and the spare. He has his pleasures and freedom and wears his mask well. Both meet in high passions but know there relationship isn’t supposed to last as Priscilla needs a husband or protector.

I felt so bad for Priscilla because her family sucks. They are horrible and she desperately needs to get away from them. Remi has so much to him but hides it under smiles and charm. He has a very strained relationship with his brother but I like to see them start to patch things up in the end. I love Priscilla’s friendship with Ophelia. While I liked the characters and feel for them, something in their romance was lacking or missing. I wasn’t crazy about them as I hoped I would be. I’m very happy for them but I just wanted a little more to their relationship besides the physical.

This is not my favorite Jess Michaels series but I feel like everything is building. Rebellions has been a main topic for the books but something is stirring and I hope to see more of this plot in the next book. I’m pretty sure we will be getting an enemies to love romance with King Grantham and Lady Ophelia which I’m excited for.

The royal family has returned home along with some English aristocrats, to celebrate the wedding do the princess.
Prince Remington does what he does best, flirt and not much else.
Priscilla has a plan. She will either marry the king or she will find a lover/protector.
Remi can't stop watching her so he agrees to help her.
I liked Remi and Priscilla but there was really a whole lot of plot or conflict.
Nice, quick story with a HEA.
I look forward to the king's story.

Prince Remington of Athawick knows that he is the spare rather than the heir to the throne. So he has always been a bit wild, letting everyone believe that he is a rake, only out to have fun. Yet as his sisters start to marry, he is unsure of where his future lies. When he meets Lady Priscilla for wedding of his sister, she captivates him. She believes that to save her future, she must entice Remi’s brother, King Grantham, yet finds himself more and more drawn to Remi, as they spend time together.
Remi was such a great character, who makes Priscilla grow in self-confidence, the more time he spends with her. The relationships he shares with his sisters and his brother Grantham, also made for an interesting read, particularly given how fractious the relationship is with his brother. Priscilla is definitely someone who has faced emotional and mental abuse from her family, so it was lovely to see her with Remi, who treats her with such care and respect. I look forward to reading about King Grantham, who has always been such a complex character. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is the best novel so far in the Regency Royals series. The chemistry between Priscilla and Remi is strong. This is a straight up romance, with a heroine in a bad position and a reluctant-to-love hero. There is no intrigue or mystery plot. This is the best Jess Michaels title in ages.

I absolutely loved this book. Each and every book in this series is an amazing surprise.
Prince Remington of Athawick has known one thing his entire life: he is just the spare. His reaction has always been to go wild, giving him a reputation as a dissolute rake who is great for a little fun, but not exactly dependable. Only now, as his family is changing, his role is beginning to grate and he isn’t sure what to do next.
Lady Priscilla is in Athawick for a royal wedding, but what she really wants is to save herself from a looming future she cannot control. What better way to fix all her problems than to marry Remi’s brother, King Grantham, who is perfectly matched with her, at least on paper?
She needs help and turns to Remi to teach her how to catch a king’s eye. Except the only eye she seems to be catching is Remi’s and soon they’re caught up in much more desire and connection than either of them bargained for. Can a wallflower tame a wild prince? Or will they keep themselves from what could be their happy ever after?
This story is amazingly sweet and emotional. I thought I couldn’t possibly love this book more than the previous ones, but I did. I like Priscilla, but Remi was a marvelous character, I couldn’t stop reading about him. The dynamics of this royal family are really nice, so loving and caring.
This book is a journey for them both to grow as persons and know each owns mind. I loved that about them. They are better people at the end of the book. The sex scenes are really good, superhot and meaningful.
I loved all the secondary character and I’ll be waiting restless for Graham’s story.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I really enjoyed Prince’s are wild. Jess Michael’s steamy third book in the Regency Royal’s was everything I hoped it would be. I really enjoyed how the relationship between Prince Remington (Remi) and Priscilla grew and their banter was very entertaining.

It was a fun read about the other members of the royal family and getting a sneak peak at King Grantham’s story! I Can't wait to read that story next!

Thank you Netgalley, Passionate PenLLC for the ARC in exchange for my honest opinion! I enjoyed it a lot!

Love this one! A sweet but sexy royal romance!
Priscilla needs someone to love and protect her, and Prince Remi is just the one to do the job! A bit of a playboy but kind and loyal, Remi is used to being the 'spare' now that his brother is king. When he decides to help lovely Priscilla find a husband or lover to protect her against her father and step mother, and of course sparks fly between these two! I cannot wait to read the king's book... hoping it is next!
