This was a fun and flirty read! The story was pretty tame but I don’t need a lot of heat to hold my interest. This novella-length romance is part of The Introvert’s Guide series, all stand-alone stories with a few recurring characters. This is a quick listen so things get started pretty quickly and it didn’t take long for me to be hooked. I had a fantastic time with this story.
Piper is not looking to date since she is focusing all of her energy on her business. Her friends didn’t get the message through and the next thing she knows they have talked her into going on a blind date. When she shows up for her date, she realizes it isn’t quite so blind since she has already been out with Maverick, and their previous date got very friendly so she already knows what he has to offer. Maverick is a romance author writing a book that has a main character that is a baker. He needs to learn more about what goes into running a bakery plus a few recipes so Piper may be just the help he needs. As they spend more time together, sparks begin to fly and they realize that there might be something there.
I liked Piper and Maverick a lot and thought that they made a fantastic couple. They had a lot of chemistry together and seemed incredibly comfortable together from the start. It was fun to watch Maverick try to fit in with Piper’s group of friends. I loved the way that Maverick seemed to be willing to take things at whatever speed Piper needed. I found their relationship to be very believable.
Savannah Peachwood and Tim Paige did a fantastic job with the narration. It seemed like we heard more from the female narrator than the male but that is due to how the book was written. I felt like both of the narrators did a great job bringing the characters to life and I like all of the different voices that they used. I do think that their narration added to my overall enjoyment of this story.
I received a review copy of this audiobook from Dreamscape Media via NetGalley.

While I enjoyed the characters of this book and enjoyed listening to it (the narrator was excellent), the ending was fairly abrupt. There was no real build up throughout the plot, so when I heard the audiobook announce "the epilogue" I was shocked that the book was over. I would have been happy to spend more time with these characters and see what develops in their lives.

The Introvert’s Guide to Blind Dating is a short and sweet one-night-stand-to-lovers, workplace romance told in dual, alternating first-person POV. It is the third installment in The Introvert’s Guide series but can be read as a standalone; there is a large friend group who are all the main characters of pervious books in this series and The Bookworm’s Guide series by the same author, but as the male main character is introduced to everyone there is enough detail provided to keep the reader from feeling lot.
There were a couple things I liked about this story. I absolutely love female entrepreneurs in romance, and Piper was exactly the driven, independent boss babe character I enjoy reading about. I also especially like reading about cooking and baking, and there is a lot of detail about not only how she runs the bakery she owns but also the recipe creation and flavor experiments that were very fun to read about. It was clear the bakery aspect of this book was very well-researched.
I was disappointed to find this was another no-steam romance. I personally prefer at least some sex on-page or at least implied; and because there were open-door scenes in the first book of this series, I expected something similar from the later installments but instead found one passionate kiss to be the extent of the physical intimacy in this book.
I listened to the audiobook because I really like a short audiobook (this was about 4 hours), but the narration was a bit of a letdown. I think this female narrator is just not for me; I find her narration lacks emotion except when it comes across as a bit sarcastic and tired. She also narrated the first book in this series; I had thought this was a stylistic choice for that book because the female main character was quite snarky and cross, but she read Piper the same way and it didn’t seem to fit this character. The thing that bothered me the most actually related to the male narrator. When we first encounter the friend group, he read Colton with a British accent; Colton is not British, though some others in the group are so I thought perhaps the narrator was just given poor notes on this, but later in the book he read Colton with the correct accent. Especially once I realized this narrator actually voiced Colton in his book (The Introvert’s Guide to Online Dating), I was just despondent that neither the narrator nor anyone involved later in the process caught and corrected this.
I am glad I gave this series a try, but I don’t expect I will be reaching for further titles by this author.

A cute slow burn romance. I really like Piper and Maverick. Their friendship is precious and it’s just a natural progression to romance. Love all the recaps at the end.

Fun light HEA listen Piper is all about work and growing her business. Maverick is a writer who is adrift while looking for some inspiration for his latest sure to be next best seller. Pipers friends are wonderful, but nosy and crazy pushy. The only reason anyone would keep them as friends is because the mostly mean well even if they are all deaf to what their friend wants and it’s such small town she’d have to move to get away from them! The girls set Piper up on yet another unwanted blind date. Again, well meaning but so annoying, conniving, devious and a little smug, though it does create a cute “meet cute” for this as you will learn this was not their first meeting. She makes it abundantly clear she has less than zero interest in dating, but when he asks for help with his next novel she acquiesces. And so begins their dance to the inevitable will they, won’t they? Very little angst (a great thing), lots of baked goods and some nutty seniors and well meaning friends make this a fun listen. Would have given 3.5 stars, but rounded up as there are no halves!

A really enjoyable read. I really connected to both the main characters and their journey. I just wish we could have seen more of them after they really got together and not just the buildup to it. But overall, very enjoyable.

This book was adorable! A beautifully told story of two people not looking for love but finding it anyways and slowly getting to know one another before leaping into anything. I was excited to hear Piper's story, I had wanted it from the moment she was introduced in the Bookworm's trilogy. I must say I was less than impressed with Josh's behavior for much of this book, given what he went through in dating his best friend's sister I expected better. Maverick played is basically perfect. The story was the perfect way to round out the trilogy.
Super quick read and excellent narration. Finished this book while cooking an elaborate dinner and it made the time fly by. WARNING: Listening to all the recipes created may cause an intense craving for desserts.

Piper and Maverick were cute together, and I enjoyed the narration. The audiobook was pretty short and I would have loved some additional character development in exchange for it being a bit longer. I didn’t quite buy that Piper was an introvert - it seemed she was just really into her career and making her bakery franchise dream successful. I recommend it for anyone who wants a sweet romance read or listen!

Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the advanced copy of this audiobook. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I enjoyed this sweet slow burn romance. It was nice to read how Piper and Maverick’s relationship natural progressed during the book.

Thank you to Net Galley and the publisher for providing me with an ALC in exchange for an honest review.
The Introvert's Guide books are some of my favorite quick reads! I love Emma Hart, I love Piper (main character), I love the ideas, the narratives, everything about it! This was another hit, I loved listening to this one and it was a super quick and easy read. 5/5

In this light-hearted romance, baker Piper Carter insists she has no time for dating. Nevertheless, she agrees to go on one final blind date who just happens to be her most recent one-night stand!!

I'm torn when reading this series -the story with the hero and the heroine or just catching up with the antics of the grandparents at the retirement home. Seriously though, this was a pretty good read that I enjoyed from the start.
Piper ,goal driven to expand her bakery business and not looking for a relationship begrudgingly goes on a blind date to find the absolute last person she expected to be there - Maverick- her one night stand from the past. She agrees to help him but gets more that what she bargained for.
Maverick, trying to work on his latest book comes to town and is set up with Piper. He enrolls her help with his new book and gets more than he expected from it.
This was a cute read that I enjoyed from start to finish and am sorry to learn that this is the last book taking place in the Montana setting. I enjoyed watching these characters grow and their story progress. Overall, this was a good read that I would recommend to others.

This was Cute!
A huge Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for my gifted audiobook.
I needed something easy and fun: Emma Hart delivered just that with The Introvert's Guide to Blind Dating.
This audiobook was narrated by two narrators. Savanna Peachwood as Piper and Tim Paige as Maverick. I enjoyed both voices and both POVs.
When requesting this audiobook I was unaware it was part of a series. That did not affect my reading/ listening experience but I imagine these books are better together. If they pop up on sale I will definitely buy them.
Why This Book Wasn't a Five Star Read- The Introvert's Guide to Blind Dating is a super short book. I felt as though I wasn't really able to get to know the characters in that short space of time. For Example: Piper. Being a baker was pretty much her whole personality.
Overall- This book is pretty middle of the road for me. I still recommend it.

I was provided an ARC of the audiobook via Netgalley, All opinions are my own. I really enjoyed the narrators. I thought they did a great job with Piper and Maverick and the cast of White Peak.
This is the final book of all of interconnected books set in the world of White Peak, Montana. This follows Piper, the last of the zany friend group that is single and owner of the local bakery.
This is similar to The Introvert's Guide to Speed Dating as it is slow burn and lacks the steamy scenes we've seen from Emma in past books. The Introvert series has been fairly tame in that area, so if you are looking for something a bit spicy, this book is really clean. This is a sweet, angst free romance between two people who may or may not have met prior to their blind date. This does have a nice hefty dose of the grandparents that I sorely missed in the last book, the grandparents bring a certain level of comedy to this series that I really enjoy, and I'm so glad that Emma included them in this book.
Piper's well meaning friends are determined to pair her up with someone, so when her bookstore owning buddies have an author friend in town they decide to set Piper up one last time. Piper is focused on her bakery and doesn't have time for dating. She has a crazy schedule at the bakery and is currently happy being single with the occasional one night stand. Maverick Donovan is a successful romance writer who happens to be in town to write his next book, he happened to meet Piper prior to Holley setting them up on a date and never expected to see her again. It's good that they met because he's got a wicked case of writer's block and needs help with research on his book. It is set in a bakery and his heroine is a baker. He asks Piper to help him out, and she reluctantly agrees especially when he mentions how good it would be for the bakery to be credited in the book. As Mav spends time with Piper learning how she runs the bakery, taste tests new recipes for the book, and works on his book because the bakery is quieter than his rented apartment it quickly becomes apparent that there is more than just a business agreement between the two of them. Piper comes to the same realization that she is developing feelings for him despite the fact that she doesn't want to date or be in a relationship.
Just like all of the other books, you can read this as a standalone. I recommend reading them all because I love the characters so much. This like the other books was light hearted and fun with a sweet romance at the center. I really enjoyed Piper and Mav, and while this isn't steamy like some of Hart's previous books, I found it refreshing and fun. It has her signature comedy, banter, and snarky comebacks and is a great summer read! This was also the perfect ending to the set of companion novels and a great send off to White Peak!

This had a really cute premise but unfortunately it fell a little flat for me. Instead of being a super fun rom com, I mostly felt kind of bored. I think the main issue was that we were pretty much told everything and there wasn't much showing, and so I just felt the characters were fairly one dimensional. I do know this was a short story, but it was long enough that there could have been better development. I'm also not sure if the author really knows what the definition of an introvert is because Piper always seemed to be surrounded by people and she never seemed to be drained socially. Not wanting to date and being ok with that (which is 100% awesome and cool) is not the same as being an introvert. I did like how invested Piper was in her bakery, and I did love that she was content without a man, while still being happy for her friends who were all in relationships, but overall, I felt like I was listening more to get the checkbox of 'ok done' than because I really wanted to get to the end.

The Introvert's Guide to Blind Dating is a short, adorable romance story. I enjoyed the bond Piper and Maverick built as they got to know each other more. It had only been a short time, but they spent almost every day together. The highlight of the book for me was the grandparents. I wasn't expecting them to be so funny!
I don't think the introvert part of the title fits the story well. It seems more like Piper is just busy managing her bakery, and there is no mention of introversion.
Overall, I had enjoyed the book. It was a funny, fluffy read.

“I feel like I’m in the middle of fucking hallmark movie. All I need is some snow.”

Short sweet fluff (with no spice). I loved the small town Montana setting, our MC owning her own baking business (and really showing how much work it is), and the setup of the author needing her for research. I was a little confused how fast the MC seemed to change her mind and how fast it ended. The grandma and her friends were another highlight that made this one unique.
Thank you to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for a copy in exchange for an honest review.

Received an early edition of this on audio through NetGalley and Dreamscape Media!
Well, this was a lot of fun. I had the pleasure of listening to the audiobook, and really enjoyed the narrators. One of my favorite experiences with narrators, to tell you the truth.
The story itself is really cute. Almost painfully cute. I had a lot of fun following Piper and Maverick's relationship, and enjoyed their banter a lot.
There were plenty of funny little lines and moments too. I haven't read the other books in this series yet, but it's likely that I will go back and read them after this one.

Received this ARC in exchange of an honest review. This book was super cute. Predictable in the HEA sense, but isn't that why many read romance? The male MC is an author and the female MC is a baker / shop owner. Did I mention the male MC is a *romance* author. It's super cute. The start of the book the two are set up to meet on a blind date, only to discover that they were one-night stands. They clearly have chemistry and no one is being fooled of the "friends to lovers." Speaking of, there's no spice. Not that I believe a book needs to have spice, but if you're looking for that in your read, this won't be it. What I really liked was the the female MC being all about her career and wanting to be successful in that and not making dating a priority and it just organically happened for her. I like that the author wrote her as not this "bitter, single, female" amongst her friends who were in healthy relationships and genuinely was happy for them. I related to that part of the character.
This is totally the type of HEA romance read that could even be in a YA section, even if the characters are older. I myself would have totally read this in middle school, along with the list of RomComs I still watch today. The narrators were good too (I received the audio ARC).
To note when I received this ARC, I didn't realize it was book #3 of a series. I had not read the previous books. Even if you haven't read the other two books, you aren't lost.

Thank you Net Galley for an audio ARC of The Introvert's Guide to Blind Dating by Emma Hart. This was a short romance between an author and a baker. It was enjoyable and fun and I listened to it in 1 sitting.
