Piper arrives at dinner to find her blind date is a past one night stand. While she insists she does not want to date anyone, she does agree to help Maverick with research on his latest book.

I have read all three books in this series, and my complaint remains that this shouldn't even be a series, but should actually belong to The Bookworm's Guide series since it involves the same characters. The other characters were very prevalent in this book, making me feel lost often.

The narrators did an OK job. They did not read at the same pace, which was frustrating.

I don't not recommend the series, but if you are going to read it, definitely read the Bookworm series first!

This book was super cute! I loved watching Piper and Maverick’s relationship developed!

This is the third book in a series, however it can be read as a standalone. I have not read the first two books, but after reading this one I want to go back and read the first two!

Maverick is a romance author, Piper is a baker, they randomly meet and have a one night stand. Then one of Piper’s friends sets her up on a blind date with Maverick not knowing their history. Maverick takes the opportunity to strike a deal with Piper to help him write his next book about a baker, and obviously things progress from there.

Lots of witty banter, baking, and cooking while falling in love made this book amazing!

Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape media for a copy of this book. This is my voluntary honest review!

This is definitely my favorite of The Introvert’s Guide series! This group of friends is a joy to read about. The women are all so sassy and I LOVE the grandparents! They are goals!! I appreciate how strong Piper is and how she turned a negative into her dream bakery! The only thing I wanted is more of Maverick’s backstory. We know he’s an author but that’s essentially it. I want more Maverick!!!! The narrators are great for the story as they usually are for an Emma Hart book!
