I could get past the age gap - I’d say Peyton was extremely mature for her age. I couldn’t get past Ryder’s constant condescension and gaslighting every time Peyton disagreeing with him upset him. Case in point: When he deliberately ignored her trauma and fear of planes and chartered them ANOTHER flight without talking to her…then had the gall to be mad when she got upset. And his entire argument? Im only going to this event for you anyways. I was TRYING to do something nice for you.
He was emotionally manipulative to get his way, and he didn’t hesitate to call out how much younger she was anytime she upset him.
It was gross, and I couldn’t get past watching her constantly staunch her feelings to make him feel better.

A battle of hearts that will have readers rooting for love. Nobody Does It Better brings the sweet to a sassy romance. Chase turns an uphill climb into a trek that proves well worth the travel. From mortal enemies to unpredictable attraction, Ryder and Peyton are a wild ride that plays the heart and teases the senses. Irresistible indeed.

I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook. I have always enjoyed books by this author and the Magnolia Sound series are some of my favorites.
Peyton may be young, but she has dreams that included a wonderful piece of property in town if she can get to it before Ryder Ashford buys up the entire town.
This story has a few twists and turns but you know that when fireworks are lit, they are going to explode! Men have got to learn that Communication is the KEY to any relationship- especially good relationships!

This is the 9th book in the Magnolia Sound Series, which I didn't know when I requested it. I had no problems following the story, it all made sense and made me want to to grab the other 8 books to see what else is going on in Magnolia Sound!
Peyton found the perfect place for her restaurant.
Ryder, millionaire swoops in and purchases the space without Peyton knowing.
They mutually decide to share the space and they both get more than they bargained for.
They date, fall in love and then have some family drama.
They persist through it all and build something amazing.
I enjoyed the audio version of this book. The narrator was very clear and told the story in a very soothing way.
I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review - #NobodyDoesitBetter #NetGalley

This is the 9th book in the Magnolia Sound series but the first one I've read. It was easy to read as a standalone and i'll definitely be going back to check out the other books.
I liked both Peyton and Ryder, they're ambitious and both have big plans for business. Unfortunately they both had their eye on the same property. I liked the growth that Ryder had, they helped each other grow but I like how he came around to truly being a part of the town.
Carly Robins' narration was great, she delivered a fantastic performance.

Although this is part of a series, this story was easy to read as a stand-alone. This is the first book I’ve ever read by the author, and I found that I could quickly get invested in the two main characters and their individual and professional goals. Each of them is looking for a place to achieve professional success in their businesses but their goals clash when they each have their eye on the same property. They come to an agreement but are forced into each other’s company in order to accomplish what they’ve set their minds to. Of course, all this extra time together forces them to acknowledge tension and feelings of a romantic nature as well. I enjoyed the themes of family, forgivenesses and second chances. This story was an easy to read stand-alone with a great narrator. Thanks to netgalley for the advanced copy of this audiobook, all opinions are my own.

Peyton Bishop's great great grandfather was one of the founders of the town where most of her family still live and run businesses he started and were eventually left to them. Peyton, who had always wanted to be a chef, inherited the cafe from her grandfather and had made it into a big success using recipes of her own and recipes handed down through the years.
Ryder Ashford is using his money to build a resort community. He has become friends with Peyton's brothers and cousins and attends many family events, but she has managed to avoid meeting him. When Ryder.comes into the cafe asking for a catered and delivered meal in four hours (after he insults her about her age) she turns him down flat. He's shocked.
When Peyton tries to buy the property she's been saving up for to start her own restaurant, she finds out that Ryder beat her to it and plans to build a high end hotel. She is devastated and doesn't hesitate to let him know; he, on the other hand, is intrigued.
Great characters, witty conversation, fun and interesting situations, interfering family, and snooty parents on both sides keep the story interesting. This is the third book in this series and I've enjoyed them all. Magnolia Sound is the place to go for a wonderful vacation.

I give 4 stars to this well-written entertaining read! This book is part of a series about small town Magnolia Sound. I’m new to this author, and I definitely want to read more of this series.
Peyton Manning, the great granddaughter of the town’s founder, is finally ready to expand her restaurant when her ideal property is bought out from under her by hotelier Ryder Ashford. As the story progresses, their relationship goes from enmity to attraction. I enjoyed the small town storyline and the highly relatable secondary characters.
The narration was excellent. It flowed smoothly and made it easy to distinguish the various characters.

I loved the idea of the book and the plot for the most part. I really wish some aspects of their relationship were drawn out as I felt like their were scenes I wanted more of! The courting/“hating” phase I wish lasted longer - it seemed like they got together so quickly but then their relationship didn’t give me all the feels since I didn’t feel like it had a lot of weight behind it. Everything moved so quickly, but some of it felt surface level. I just wanted more details! They whole plane scene was a little much for me as well. Received this book from NetGalley /dreamscape media and all thoughts are my own. #netgalley #nobodydoesitbetter

I was able to listen to this on narration and loved the audio on this. Carly Robins has done an excellent job with the 3rd POV. This is part of a series and while you do not need to go back and read the previous ones, other characters are mentioned in the story. Peyton is a business woman in a small town. Ryder is a savvy outsider business man looking to buy multiple properties in magnolia sound. He unfortunately bought the wrong one this time. I loved the way the characters are thoroughly brought out in the writing.
I received this ARC through #netgalley and I am voluntarily reviewing this book

This was my first time reading this author. I really enjoyed her writing style and how her characters drew me in from page one.
I loved Peyton and Ryder. While they seem completely different, opposites attract and these two had chemistry and passion for days! While this is part of a series, which I didn't realize until after I started the book, you do not have to read the eight books prior to enjoy this one. Yes there are a couple characters mentioned towards the end that I didn't know who they were referring to, but
This was a vibrant book with small town enchantment and charming characters. And although I didn't start off reading book one, I'm downloading it now to read the entire series!

Restaurateur Peyton is ready to make an offer on the property she's been eyeing for a year—when billionaire Ryder buys it out from under her. She's furious. After all, Ryder is an outsider, and Peyton is descended from the founder of Magnolia Sound. His plans to build a high-end hotel ignore the needs of the people of the town.
Ryder agrees to a deal: he'll let Peyton design the hotel's restaurant, in return for a percentage of the profits. When they begin falling for each other, it complicates their business relationship, and vice versa. Can these two opposites overcome their differences and find their way to love?
Peyton and Ryder are a good match, their strengths complementing each other. They help each other grow and reach their potential. I enjoyed the secondary characters and the family dynamics. The audiobook narration was well done.
Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Nobody Does it Better is book 9 in the Magnolia Sound series. I really enjoy this series. Each book can be read as a standalone, but characters from earlier books make appearances.
Peyton has always dreamed of buying a particular piece of property and building her own restaurant from the ground up. She has planned doing this for so long and on the day she's about the cut the big check, she is told that someone else has beat her to it.
Ryder sees the perfect opportunity for business growth in Magnolia Sound, but he needs to bring it up to his standards. He has big plans and they are no where near what Peyton has in mind. Ryder enjoys Peyton's spirit and attitude and hires her to help him design his new space. Soon enough there working relationship turns into a personal relationship and the lines are getting blurred.
I love this series so much. I listened to the audio version and really liked it! I love all the characters and enjoyed following along the budding relationship of Peyton and Ryder.
Thanks to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for an advanced audio version of this book in exchange for an honest review.

A great addition to the Magnolia series. Peyton has always towed the line. She has done everything everyone has expected of her and at the very moment she is ready to step out on a ledge and take the next step of creating her own path she is stopped in her tracks when the very wealthy, handsome and oh so smug Ryder swoops in and snatches her dream property out from under her nose. To say she is frustrated and furious is like calling the Grand Canyon a little hole in the ground. Telling a woman to calm down is never a good idea. Then tell her to not take it personally as “it’s just business” and Peyton is ready to take make him pay! It’s a fun listen from start to finish. Funny, sweet, snarky, romantic with a great HEA.

I was able to listen to this audiobook thanks to NetGalley. Everyone wants a “James Bond” in their lives. From the moment Peyton met Ryder sparks were flying. Through the entire book Ryder just captured my heart more and more with the things he managed to do for Peyton. This book is set in a small town that was built by Peyton’s grandfather and when someone like Mr. Ashford thinks he can add his own touch to the town it comes to a halt!

Book 9 in the Magnolia Sound series. While better as part of the series, it would be fairly easy to read as a stand-alone.
Peyton is the type of person who does not like to rock the boat. She finds it easier to go with the flow than to take a stand. Until Ryder ruins her dream. Suddenly, quiet, docile Peyton has a lot to say.
Carly Robins does a good job narrating, as she did with the other books in the series. I do wish there had been a male narrator for Ryder's POV.
I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

I listened to this on audio. I absolutely love Carly Robins' narrations This is 3rd person POV.
Carly does all the voices so well. I especially love the haughty woman's voice (Ryder's mom & Peyton's mom too!) Peyton, the Heroine is kinda snarky and feisty. Are those the same thing?
The Hero, Ryder is a richy rich guy that comes to town to buy up all the property.
Of course, Ryder & Peyton fight over the same property. Ryder swooped in while Peyton was planning to expand her restaurant business.
I'm new to this series. Book 9 , eh? I need to go back and read the others.
Very cute story, great escape. I impulse picked this on NetGalley. I see that it's out on Hoopla too.
3.25 stars. Peyton began to show a easier to get along personality. I liked that better. She needed that to handle Ryder's mom.

After reading the majority of the Magnolia Sound books, I knew I wanted to read this latest one - Nobody Does it Better by Samantha Chase. I have enjoyed the other books in this series and I was confident that I would like this one as well.
This is the story of Peyton (the agreeable 25 year old daughter that never rocks the boat) and Ryder (the billionaire that assumes that money can buy anything he ever wants). The problem is this time he wants the same piece of land that Peyton wants - and of course, Ryder sweeps in and purchases it first. He sees nothing wrong with him buying it out from under Peyton and he can't figure out why she isn't happy. As soon as he realizes how incredibly smart and business astute she is, he wants to hire her to consult on his own construction. He makes her a deal she can't refuse - but then how will they both feel after spending so much time together on his projects?
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. The opinions stated above are mine without biases.

Oh man. I generally enjoy Chase but this book was basically a "no" for me though other regular readers may not mind it as much. Carly Robins is a fantastic narrator though and I enjoyed her interpretation of the story. I will be looking for more books that she is involved in.
There was so much about this book that was cringe-y. Yes, there is an age gap between Parker and Ryder. How do we know? It's brought up. A lot. And Ryder sure does treat Parker like she is a little girl even though she is in her mid-twenties and is running a successful business. the two have seen each other at her family's events but they haven't interacted until he buys a business that she's been saving up for for years. And then she throws a fit. Which, okay. That makes sense. You're going in to cross the line of a goal you've had for years and someone has swooped in and taken it. So she runs and yells and then somehow falls in love after a near-death experience which culminates in a night with one bed. And, boom, relationship. One where every single male in her family seems to feel like they need to issue a warning and Ryder feels like he needs to rebuff (Patriachal Ew) instead of... maybe all of these males trusting Parker to know her own mind and stand up for what she wants.
Then Ryder reverted to treating her like a child which is very much at odds with how he is treating her otherwise. And Parker is acting more like a New Adult character than one in a Chase romance.
Two stars

(2.5 stars)
I really wanted to like this more than I did. I liked the way Peyton challenged Ryder, who seemed like he had his life together but soon realized that maybe this wasn't the case. And it was nice how much Ryder tried to support Peyton's dreams, even if he went about it the wrong way most of the time. The supportive family surrounding Peyton was nice, with plenty of heart-to-hearts with those she loves.
With as much chemistry as these two had right from the beginning, it was like no one was on board with their relationship for the longest time - including them. Their age difference was mentioned so many times that it became jarring each time and took me out of the story. Like either you get over that and discuss any maturity/life goals/life experiences that will make starting a relationship challenging, or you let the age difference prevent you from enjoying being together. It was weird how much they focused on it... I was also not a fan of the random nicknames Ryder called Peyton before they were even close to being involved.
All of the scenes about the plane and flying were just like nope, nope, nope. Didn't seem necessary to go about it that way and it didn't end up mattering for the plot in the long run. It also bothered me that they made such a big deal about being professional and how much it meant to Peyton to not miss the first day of the show, but then easily chose to do so anyway. Again, I wanted to like this more than I did, and at least now I know this series ultimately isn't for me.
