I really enjoyed this book. It was an historical romance and it turned out better than I thought it would be. There's a lot of family love in this book. I am grateful that netgalley let me read this in exchange for an honest review.
This book was sent to me by Netgalley electronically for review. It is a saga of families in the West in the early 20th Century...battles between the rich and the poor...murder...mystery...live and romance...what it was like for some of the less fortunate mixing with the fortunate...a quick read.
Story that brings the old west alive along with all the hardships of that life. The story is quite involved with the different lives of all the people it took to settle the west. How people worked together to help each other survive and get through the many difficult times. I enjoyed the story of the Dollarhide family and the differences of the various characters in the family. The Calder family, large ranchers, and the Anderson family, one of the farm families trying to make a living farming wheat.
