Was hands down such an amazing book! Writing was phenomenal, and had me hooked from page one! I could not put the book down and finished it in one sitting.

This is a dark romance and has multiple trigger warnings before reading this, I think the writing style was great the pacing was dead on and the characters were relatable. I just felt like it was missing something so I couldn’t give it a complete 5 out of five stars. Some topics are broached in a unusual fashion so I couldn’t get behind some of this but overall it was really good

Trigger warning with this book! But if you can deal with that, you are in for another amazing Red Cage romance that will have you laughing and swooning. Sassy females with alpha males are my perfect romance traits and S. Ann Cole delivers.

This was my first book by this author but it makes me want to go through her back list. I loved that even though this was the second one in the series, it can still pretty much act as a stand alone.

Lyra was kidnapped and tortured through her captivity. Here comes in Torin to the rescue! I love how protective Torin was and how the author focused on creating their relationship before diving into anything romantic. Even the side characters has me caring for them. Torino’s brothers and Reuben kept you hooked through out the book.

I’m definitely looking forward to the rest of the series.

This is the second book in the series and can be read as a standalone. I generally stay away from stories of sex trafficking and did not know that was part of the plot when I requested an ARC for this book. The story stays away from graphic depictions of rape, but does have descriptions of violence that may disturb some readers. Just a trigger alert for some to be aware of. However, in the story, the, heroine, Lyra, handles her experience and does not let it define her. She is able to connect with Torin, the hero, and the author has their romance progress in a believable way. I liked the story and the mix of romance and suspense was perfect. I would definitely read the next book in the series and hope it arrives soon.

This is my first book of the author and I really enjoyed The Bronze Garza. Lyra Henderson has been kidnapped and Trafficked. In her time in captivity, she has been raped, starved, and tortured. When she is moved to another location, she is rescued from a fire and brought home to her Father and stepmother.

Torin Garza is her savior, and she soon learns that her rescue has been underway for over a year. When she learns her previous captors know she is alive and plan to kill her, Torin steps in again as her protector, doing anything to save her life but doesn't expect to fall in love with her.

All the other characters in this book are exceptional; Torin's right-hand man, Reuben, Lyra's hippie mother, and Torin's twin brothers. This is the second book in the series and I don't think you need to read the first one to understand what is going on.

This book takes a while to get going, which would be my only complaint. The actual romance doesn't happen until 50% in. There is also a small age gap, if that bothers anyone. It has just the right amount of steam and laughter to warrant 4 stars.

Loved this compelling and suspenseful romance. The slow build up and character development brought out the true depth of the characters. Highly recommend!!

I really enjoyed this book and seeing the relationship that formed between Lyra and Torin. My main concern with this book is that it needs major trigger warnings at the beginning of the book considering it jumps straight in with the sex trafficking.

I loved seeing Lyra start to trust Torin and my favorite part was when she made the wooden card for him, it was so cute and very important for her. I also really loved the epilogue and hope that the rest of the series lets Torin get out of the red cage and stay at home with Lyra(and have cute little babies).

This is a thriller/love story all in one. The suspense keeps up throughout the whole book and I could not stop turning the pages to find out what happened next. Lyra is a "victim" of her circumstance, but I loved her strong personality and fierce spirit. Great read!

The Bronze Garza by Cole is a gripping romance that has everything you want in a romance story!
I loved these characters... So much characterization I loved it!
Trent is an absolute saint and I could just picture him and start smiling throughout the book.
I though it was smooth pacing, intriguing and enjoyable!
I will be buying the first book and continue reading The Red Cage Series
