Martial Arts and the Mirror Image uses The Mirror Image technique to enhance growth and self confidence. It is based on Qigong principles and presents a unique set of physical exercises that can be applied to any martial art tradition as well as your everyday personal life. The concept is that the physical body both reflects and changes the mind, and the other war around. This is where the analogy of the two mirrors facing one another comes into play. The physical exercises are really simple but extremely effective. and the author also provides a selection of breathing exercises that can be done anywhere. The illustrations are very good and the book itself is easy to read and follow. Overall an excellent and very useful book.
