My hero academia team-up mission is a fun spin-off of the original My hero academia series but it's a relaxing read. It's very fun and highlights other heros usually not seen in the main series.

this is an excellent read for any mha fan, and a great addition to this spin off series. with some heavy concepts being brought up in the main volume at the moment, team-up missions is a nice breather from the dark plot and allows us to see these great characters in different lights.

My students introduced me to the MHA series, and now I can't wait to read anything related to the series. Seeing familiar characters pair up in new missions gives us fresh insight into these heroes, and each story is detailed enough to be interesting without seeming forced or rushed.

My Hero Academia delivers with volume 2 of their team-up missions program. What is a team-up program? Well, students from all over the country get invited to team up with Pros. Now, these possibilities are endless in a world filled with amazing superpowers (quirks). The best part is you won't necessarily get teamed up with students from your class or even your school. So there is a couple of surprise teams that are formed over My Hero Academia Team-up Mission Volume 2. The art for My Hero Academia Team-Up Missions Volume 2 flows exceptionally well, and the characters and their expressions and mannerisms are on point. The panels are well laid out which makes the action sequences flow with ease. The personalities of each character are well captured and presented which assists with the flow of each of the stories. It is not hard being a fan of My Hero Academia, and the team-up missions are well suited to the already existing world. This volume has a lot of golden moments and character interaction that will only build on the already amazing story.

In this volume, we find Deku venturing into the abyss with Tokoyami or Shoto and Denki partake in a special team-up mission that puts their cooking skills to the test. This volume also includes two special one-shot stories that tie in with the second My Hero Academia movie “Heroes Rising”.

Like its first volume, it gives readers a unique look into the Heroes while they are participating in the Team-Up Missions Program and the villains they come across, but there is one thing I would like to point out, however, and that this series will be more for people who have read the Main Story and who are familiar with them, that is the only downside to this Manga Series. This volume does have wholesome moments and does continue to play on the main story’s charm and that was the interesting “Quirks” that these heroes have and use, given some are weird or unique but it helps keep the story going.

As I’ve mentioned before, this includes a tie-in to Heroes Rising, I will not give anything away but I think it was a fascinating idea to introduce these special one-shot stories in the volume. If you’re looking for a fun side-story with wholesome moments, this is the one for you!

MHA is a big hit with many age groups. Even I adore it even though shonen typically isn’t my forte. The author does an excellent job of building relationships and developing characters. The characters are all exciting and appealing.. even the villains are likable for the most part.
These stories made me laugh so much! I gotta go back and read volume 1 and then read the rest of the series as it’s published
Honestly it’s hard to go wrong with this material and this volume gets it just right

The Team Up Missions books for My Hero Academia are great for younger fans of the show or for fans who are more into the world building of the story versus its end game. In this volume we meet a hero who cornered the edgelord market before Tokoyami came along. I'm biased because he's my favorite character in this title, but this book has good stuff for fans of other characters and people who are into this series overall, as they wait for the main story to wrap up. I received an ARC of this book from the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for my honest opinion.
