Mersin wants to love and to be loved. That’s not too much to ask is it? Well it seems that sometimes it may be too much to ask. So Mersin runs away to escape the devastation, the humiliation and the heartbreak. And she vows she will never go back, never face those people again, never hear the gossip, never relive the pain.
And for six years Mersin keeps her word and starts to successfully build a new life for herself whilst burying the past, the pain, the humiliation deep in her heart.
But ultimately she has to go back, and she finds something she never expected to find. . .
A story about humanity, life affirming grace and unexpected champions. It’s a really lovely book, very warm and absorbing
