An incredibly vibrant visual of the history of dogs and all that goes into breeds. I am going to take note of this to order because I can see it becoming valuable for kids and adults alike. I like that similar sections like dogs in film/tv etc were sprinkled throughout instead of being a chunk in the middle.
It may not be the most to navigate to but to sit and go through it was much more stimulating
Love love, love this wonderful doggy treasure. As a dog owner and trainer, I found How Dogs Work to be the perfect starter book for wannabe dog owners and those who already belong to a dog pack. The book is filled with creative graphics, fun facts, important information with humor along the way. The graphics are excellent and engaging. The history of dogs and how their development occurs is informative.. The stages of a dog's life, from puppy to the Rainbow Bridge are sensitively written. This is a great book to read to children to educate them about their pet. Above all, Daniel Tatarsky presented important Information without judgment and wrote an enjoyable and educational doggy book about our best friends.. Thank you Netgalley and publisher for this ARC in exchange for my honest review, and special thanks to Mr. Tatarsky for including Doodles!! Easy five stars and highest recommendations.
This is a lovely book that you can dip into for basic dog information. The illustrations are charming, and I enjoyed how each page layout was different from the last, and always eye-catching. Informative while also being a lot of fun, I enjoyed this very much as a casual and approachable reference to dogs. Thank you to NetGalley and DK for the chance to view an e-ARC of this book.
