A through book on crystals which is perfect for both beginners and those more advanced. It is fully illustrated and that makes it easier to follow and easier to use.
This is a great book on crystals, well illustrated, and well researched, this book offers an introduction and exploration of crystals. The author clearly has a great and in-depth knowledge, lots of attractive and appealing photos, highly recommended
Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for a free copy for an honest opinion
You get information more on the crystals that are more known/available. Get information surrounding/things to do with crystals - grids and chakras for example. Overall nice.
Beautifully illustrated, and thoroughly researched, this book offers an in-depth exploration of crystals and their many applications. There's a wealth of knowledge here, with varied applications in everyday life. The information is accessible, not overly wordy. This was a fun and interesting read!
This is a comprehensive, well illustrated book on crystals. There are lots of color photos, charts, etc. and it goes into benefits of each crystal, how to use them, etc.
I loved how this book is structured and how easy it is to navigate, presenting each crystal with some of its properties so you can choose your own...even though the lore says the crystal chooses you, and not the other way around 🌟
'This delightful – and highly accessible – book is beautifully illustrated and filled with hints and tips to help you make the most of your crystals. I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as I did.' Judy Hall, bestselling author of The Crystal Bible
I can't say it better than Judy Hall, but I can recommend #theCrystalFix to anyone just starting out on crystals ✨
The Crystal Fix has great basic crystal info like clearing, shape meanings etc. The section on which crystals work best (and why) in specific rooms was very useful. The “Try This” tips were particularly helpful, quick & easy. The crystals section has a page of information on each crystal including healing properties, general use and how to use it in your home and for your body. The how/where to use it in your home information I found most useful. Chapter 3 shows how to use your crystals in essences, beauty treatments, grids and body layouts. The index of stones by need was by far my favorite section of the book. Here you can look up topics like grief, protection, fertility etc and find a list of stones to help with that particular need. A good book for both beginners and those further along in crystal knowledge.
Thank you Quatro and NetGalley for this ARC.
I loved this book, it Has gorgeous pictures throughout and explains crystals in an easy to understand way, which was perfect to me as a new comer to this interest.
I look forward to exploring some of the ways in can bring crystal use into the home after reading this book.
As a crystal enthusiast I was delighted by this book. The pictures are absolutely beautiful, making the book very ecstatically pleasing. The book has three main parts after the introduction, living with crystals, crystal descriptions and using your crystals.
The first part focuses on topics like charging your crystals, buying and selecting them, traveling with them, clearing and programming them, and then it goes more in-depth with descriptions room by room. For each room the author provides suggestions of where you can keep your crystals, the chakra they are associated with, what function they provide to that space, keys stone suggestion and a couple of in-depth descriptions of how these stones can benefit that particular space.
The second section focuses on the description of the stones themselves. This is my favourite part of the book. The one thing I really loved about the way each stone was addressed was that it was short, but right to the point. The author summarized the key points nicely and didn't feel the need to use filler sentences, which i greatly appreciate. For each stone she briefly describes the healing properties, colour and formation, source and history, uses, home space and chakra and body. Making this an excellent book for quickly referencing information.
The third section focuses various ways you can use crystals in your life. Covering topics like meditation, rituals, chakras and body position, reflexology, (I'm surprised Reiki wasn't mentioned) for massage and beauty and crystal grids.
This is a great book for anyone who want a quick reference guide without information overload. This is a book i will be recommending to my clients and will add as a suggested book on my website.
Thank you Quarto Publishing Group – White Lion and Netgalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Un libro carino per chi vuole iniziare a lavorare con i cristalli. Ci sono anche le avvertenze sulla compatibilità di alcuni, cosa purtroppo non molto comune quindi sono piacevolmente colpita
First, I love the title “Crystal Fix.” It makes the book stand out. I did order a copy, so I will have to update my review on the book's quality, as I am now reviewing an eBook.
I enjoyed the high-quality photographs throughout the book; although they could have been smaller, so the book had a larger text. But it gave the reader a clear picture of the 63 crystals being described, making it easier to purchase one. The pictures of the grids are also helpful, especially for a beginner. Crystal care, cleansing, and programming are described in-depth, and I was happy to have found methods I had not used before.
The author teaches you how to use Feng Shui so that you have a good understanding of how to incorporate crystals and their healing powers into your living/work environment. The author includes helpful tips as you go through the book which I found interesting and I look forward to using her suggestions.
The book includes descriptions of 63 well-known crystals, including a picture for each one. It tells you about the properties, color, history, which chakra the crystal is good for, and its healing properties.
When I reached chapter 4, I honestly thought it was missing in the eBook, because it just goes into an index, which looked like the back of a book. I think the layout should have had the problems bolded with larger colored, underlined text, and the pages to find the needed crystals underneath.
I found “Crystal Fix” by Juliette Thornbury to be a useful addition to my crystal library and a great book for future reference.
If you are interested in crystals and their powers then this book will give you a great deal of information regarding the individual crystals and properties. Great photos and descriptions along with the uses and features. The index is an index of need, so it takes you to the best crystal for your need. There is a chapter on how to use crystals and how to place in a grid around the home, fascinating. Well laid out book, very and easy to follow. and read different sections as you are drawn to. Thank you #NetGalley for the book to review.
This is a beautiful and informative book for anyone new to crystals as well as those familiar with them.. Absolutely loved the layout and the photos. I have already ordered one as a Christmas gift for a friend.
Highly recommended.
Thank you Quarto Publishing and Netgalley
This book was wonderful! I've read many books about crystals, but I really like the way the information was presented - the author really broke down the different ways crystals can be incorporated into your life and your home. I definitely moved some of my collection around in my house according to the suggestions on which room would be best for them. I've never seen that kind of detail suggested before, which was great.
I also really liked the focus on each different crystal. Having the images and all of the details for each one really made it easy to understand.
Would definitely recommend!
This book is absolutely beautiful. The pictures were amazing and I loved learning about how different crystal can change the energy of a room. I personally already have crystals floating around in various places throughout the house, but this book will definitely make me more conscious of where I decide to place them. I enjoyed reading up on crystals that I already own as well as putting a few more on my shopping list. There were a few that I already have that weren't mentioned in the book, but I can understand that if Thornbury were to list all the crystals of the world the book would be much larger. Overall, this is great for anyone looking to incorporate more crystals into their life, specifically into their home.
Thank you to Netgalley, Quarto Publishing Group, and Juliette Thornbury for the eARC of this book, however, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

So this book is pretty good. There is a lot of solid information and a bunch of gorgeous pictures. The quality of pictures and the general layout of the book lead me to think of it as a coffee table type book so that is how I read it. This is not necessarily a book you sit down and read all the way through because that would overload you with information, instead it is there to be consulted when you get new crystals or want to get new crystals. With that angle, I can assure you that the information seems pretty good. There is a lot about what crystals are best for certain rooms in your house as well as a really detailed account of information about each individual crystal. Again all with beautiful pictures. There is also a section on how to use your crystals which I found very interesting. I have docked this book some points for suggesting that you should/could cleanse your crystals by smudging which I cannot endorse unless it is a part of your culture. As a witch, I see that as being a part of a closed culture and thus so not do it, however, you are free to do general smoke cleansing, not smudgings.
This book is just beautiful!
The photographs are stunning, and really are the highlight of the book for me.
I like to think I know a lot about crystals already, and I have read A LOT of books on the subject. However, this book looked at the topic of crystals in a different way. I really got something from this book. It has helped me to understand crystals around the home, rather than just the effect they have on me personally.
I was lucky enough to be sent electronic copy of this book for free, in exchange for an honest review, but I have now pre-ordered the hardcopy of this book as I enjoyed it so much!
This book would make a perfect gift, or would be great for beginners to crystals or even those looking to develop their knowledge even further.
Really recommend this!
