Laura Regan and her team are shooting an episode of their show Creature X where they investigate different cryptos and mythical creatures. This episode focuses on a bioluminescent pterosaur. They fly to Umboi island off the coast of Papa New Guinea. Things take off from there as they see purple lights in the sky and find their teammate Ph.d dead.


I did not realize that this book is part of a series when I started it and I also expected there to be more focus on cryptos than what actually transpired. It wasn’t necessarily a bad book, I think the expectations I had for it was a factor in rating it so low.
