While weaving an intricate tale with many characters and strong world building, I'm afraid this read just wasn't for me. The beginning was interesting with enough action and tension, and that while the characters were built up....which is great because this one does dance between worlds, and I love being founded nicely in reality before things fly into excitement. However, I found the switches between the scenes and characters confusing and a little abrupt. Also, there were POV slips as we danced from one character's thoughts to the next.

The story grabs more and more as the book goes on, and it's an original twist, which gives the vampire realm a refreshing excitement. Still, the other things kept me from getting lost in this read. But I do believe that it will grab the right reader.
