Thank you to NetGalley for the readers copy in exchange for a (very late) review.
This was very sweet and much like a confectionery desert it was over too quickly. The plot, characters, and art were all very cute and enjoyable.
No real notes.

This was super cute! Absolutely loved the beautiful pastel art style and really liked how the coming of age elements of the story were explored. My only regret is that there wasn't more.

This was such a cute graphic novel. I loved the storyline, the artwork, the queer rep, basically everything about it was magical.

Ray is a young seer who has struggled with her rare abilities. Rather than being able to see the future, she can see the present, which is a rarity among fellow seers. On the fence with her career trajectory, Ray frequents her local bakery to see her crush, Laurie, and order tea and some tasty baked goods infused with romance. As a seer, nothing is a surprise, but it is for Ray when she finally speaks to her crush. Everything turns out to be a surprise as their romance blossoms, even as Ray’s abilities begin to expand to see the future. Unfortunately for them, the ups and downs are a surprise for both, especially as Laurie struggles with trying to make it as a musician.

This book is absolutely wonderful. We follow Ray, who is a seer in a world full of magic. There’s a touch of magic everywhere down to each character’s phone. It made me wish I had a cool phone just like the characters! Speaking of the characters, I think there was only one character that I disliked, but I believe we were meant to dislike them. The rest are wonderful, and that includes the characters who had very small parts in the story.

One of the things I liked about the book is that Ray and Laurie’s romance was still presented in a realistic way. Ray found a way for Laurie to gain some privacy from her abilities, which allowed us to see what Laurie’s friends and ex meant when talking about the downfalls of their personality. I did find that I didn’t like Laurie as much as I initially did once we got to know them because they seemed very superficial in their relationships, whether romantic or platonic. That said, I did like how Ray and Laurie overcame their hardships.

The artwork is absolutely stunning. It’s so vibrant and really brings the characters and the world they live in to life. After reading this and being in awe at the beautiful artwork, I’m looking forward to seeing what Danie Stirling publishes in the future.

With characters as sweet as baked goods, this graphic novel is pure joy. With exquisite artwork, Crumbs is an adorable coming of age story with a sweet romance. With a focus on friendship and first loves, we follow a young seer struggling with her powers as she gets her first taste of romance.

This was a magical, cozy romance. However, there were some pacing issues with parts that dragged. Overall, it was a charming read with adorable artwork.

First I want to say thank to you to NetGalley and Clarion Books for granting me free access to this title in exchange for an honest review. Unfortunately, life got hectic for me shortly after being granted access to this title, but I finally read it. And am so glad I did.

First off, the art is beautiful. And, I love that the characters don't conform to the figures and body shapes that mass media tries to sell people as being 'the most attractive.'

When it comes to the characters beyond their appearances, I really appreciated the growth we go to see from the main characters and how they developed into fuller characters as the book went on.

I also really found the world and how magic and spells fit into this version of reality really interesting. Especially how technology (specifically cell phones) got combined with magic as well. And another thing I loved was how normal it was for people to be who they are be attracted to who they are attracted to. It makes me look forward to and want to be hopeful about the day that is the reality for all people.

While I still want to know more about how the Council works and all the things it does in this world, I did feel that Stirling gave enough details throughout the story to not leave the reader feeling confused.

This was my first time reading anything by Stirling, but I how that they enjoyed writing in this world enough that even if they don't revisit Ray and Laurie, that the set more stories in this reality so we can explore it more with them.

Loved this cute graphic novel. It was a long one, but it reads fast and I loved it. Definitely will be one that I recommend at my library.

This was a really cute graphic novel. I enjoyed the art style and thought there were some really pretty panels that stood out. The romance was very sweet, too. This graphic novel is almost 400 pages, and I will say that there were a few times I felt like the story dragged. Overall, though, this was a cute story and will be perfect for those looking for a light romance and a cozy fantasy story.

New beginnings can be hard, especially when it pushes you outside your comfort zone. In Crumbs, career goals, self esteem, trust, and relationships are examined. This LGBTQ graphic novel is a cozy lovable read with undertones of tougher issues. This allows the reader to easily digest the tough topics while enjoying the romance at the same time. The illustrations are vibrant and have expressive features.

Very solid standalone graphic novel. The art was nice and the story does well with so many characters. I found the dynamic of the two main character's romance a little off, but I enjoyed both of their journeys of self discovery.

Not much to say about this one, but it was an enjoyable, slice-of-life read. I liked the handling of Laurie's character in particular, and found Ray's work situation really interesting - I kind of wish we got more of that. Overall though, a good read!

I'm going to need more of Marigold's magical bakery and less of the stuff council job drama that leaves much to be desired. Overall though this was a cute story with great illustrations that made me hungry for baked goods.

There's magic on every page of this ultra-sweet graphic novel about falling in love, following your dreams, and what happens when the two paths diverge. Crumbs will definitely appeal to the readers who love the Heartstopper series by Alice Oseman!

Such a fun, cute graphic novel with supernatural characters, The magical world was wonderful and enchanting with a brilliant romance running throughout. The representation of LGBTQ+ characters was added in so casually it was an absolute joy.

This was a very sweet story that had a cool concept. These illustrations were so beautiful and I could feel the emotions of the characters coming across perfectly. I wanted to go to Marigold's Bakery and eat some treats! Whether it be Anticipation, Melancholy or something else. I really enjoyed this story and how both Laurie and Ray were at a crossroads and had to decide what they wanted to do with their futures. There were diverse characters who were all very entertaining and just realistic. This was lightly magical and I loved the cozy feel it had. I still would have loved to see a little more about how their magic world worked because I felt a little lost on that end. Overall, it was a great graphic novel and such a cute story!

I enjoyed this cute and mostly light hearted romance graphic novel.

I don't know if it's the type of story to stay with me for a long time however, but it was an enjoyable and heart warming way to spend an hour reading, with lots of cosy moments lots of readers will relate to.

I loved this as a WebToon, I love it more as a published graphic novel. This book was so much fun, and so cute, and so sweet that I truly can't speak highly enough about it. And can we touch on how absolutely adorable the cover is - seriously so sweet and definitely draws you in. It's so nice to see a story about discovering who you are, and finding some romance along the way. Furthermore, sign me up for some magical baked goods, they sound divine.
4 solid stars.

It is impressive that this book successfully integrates two significant plots. Both the relationship issues and the political system get equal weight. The political issues are more thoughtful and measured, less revolutionary than we typically see in novels. It's a bit meandering for my tastes but I can see the appeal.
