What a wonderful addition to an already great series!! I loved the girl power message, the romance, and the smut. None of the elements overpowered the plot, and it was overall just wonderful!!

I absolutely love the Dark Olympus series by Katee Robert and this installation was just as good as the others. I loved the thruple that is Helen, Achillies, and Patroclus. The hate sex and the strength that Helen has as a result of everything she has gone through in the past. The sweet love between Achillies and Patroclus just melts my heart. I loved seeing the trials from Athena for the new Apollo. I am so excited to see what comes next in this world I am so invested!!!

This series keeps getting better and better! So much angst and steam and gah! I was worried we'd see a love triangle turn sour but the ending is even better. Life is too short to not read smutty books and Katee writes the smuttiest. I don't want to spoil the story but suffice it to say, Wicked Beauty is an absolute must read. Achilles, Helen, and Patroclus. What more could you possibly need!?

Wicked Beauty is a reimagining of a competition for the seat of Ares and a position as one of the 13 gods of Olympus. Helen, Achilles, and Patroclus are all competing, with Helen also being the prize. This is a steamy, fast-paced and action-packed tale of some mythological figures in a mythological time who form a three-way bond then must decide whether or not to break it, or find a way for them all to win.

Wicked Beauty by Katee Robert is book #3 in the Dark Olympus series. I truly love how Katee Robert showcases diverse and consensual relationships in her books. This was a great modern spin on Achilles and Patroclus and while their third being Helen is a little different than is historically accurate, given its modern spin on it. It was incredibly steamy! It was a really easy read, very bingeable. Always love these books and look forward to the rest.

Another incredible book in the dark Olympus series! I personally loved book 1 the most, but was thoroughly entertained by this one!

Words to describe this book- sizzling, hot, desire, x-rated, definitely not a genre I am used to. Helen displays a show of strength, ambition, and vulnerbality during this story. She fights for her place among the members of the 13 in Olympus and shows them she is worthy of her place with them.
I would say if you like a slow burn that builds to explosion in a story, this book is for you .

I enjoyed reading this book. This is my first book by this author which I look forward to reading more in the future. This is a well written story where your best interests are taken by every kiss made. This is a great fantasy story that is hard to put down. A story that I found to be fast paced and that ticks all the boxes. A story that is engaging and well rounded. The characters are connectable and made the story for me. They are strong and supportive of each other. They have great growth throughout the story which made it easy to read. This is an entertaining story that took me on a journey that had me coming back for more. I really enjoyed this book and I highly recommend it.

This is my first read from Katee Robert. I didn't realize this was a series when I requested it. I didn't have a hard time following it but think it would be better, had I read the first two in the series.

I love Greek Mythology. It was an enjoyable read but I might need to go back and read the previous books.

I took a chance on this book because I love mythology. I haven't read the first two books in the series, and after this one, it's safe to say that I will be removing them from my TBR.

I totally get the appeal of these books, and I have nothing against smut. There is just something about taking such powerful mythological characters and turning them into such ordinary beings that was a turnoff.

Again, I totally get the appeal of these books and can see why they are best-sellers.

This was my first foray into Katee Roberts works, and my understanding was that I didn't need to have read the others to understand what was going on. I knew to expect spice, and danggggg did we get it! Really enjoyable, I think I'm definitely going to have to read the rest of her books now!

The author has created a unique world and each story seems to get better and steamier! Wicked beauty takes on Helen of Troy, Achilles and Patroclus; Ares, one of the circle of 13 has died.. A competition to find the next one is about to begin, and Zeus has declared the winner will also gain Helen of Troy as a wife! Except, Helen plans to enter the competition herself. Achilles has always determined to become the next Ares; with his partner Patroclus to back him up he knows he will win. When the three of them team up the sparks fly, but can they make it through the competition when there can only be one winner? This book had it all, a great plot, lots of action, kick-ass heroine, and steamy sex! I know I was little late in reading this but I wanted to read the other books in the series, and I totally recommend the series! Looking forward to the next book

This book was a truly amazing third installment of the Dark Olympus series! I was hooked from the very first page, right up until the very last.

I actually wasn't quite expecting this reaction out of myself. Poly romances aren't usually my top tier favorites out of all the romance tropes. However, this one was so well done. The relationship felt meaningful and functional.

I also lovedddd the action aspect of the book. Without giving too much away, the competition in the book kind of gives off The Hunger Games and Squid Game vibes. It was so much fun to read.

I highly recommend this one if you enjoyed the first two books!

I love this series so much. Since I picked up book one, I wanted more. Each one has been amazing on its own and I love how we get glimpses of the other characters from the previous books. I love how Katee Robert’s writes and she has done it again with this one. This book is about Helen, Patroclus and Achilles and the struggles they have to go through to find each other and themselves. What they truly want and what this life has to offer for them.

Patrolus and Achilles have been together since they were teens. They love each other and have an opened relationship. They know what they want and what makes them happy. They have never set limits for each other but when Helen shows up, Achilles can tell Patrolus has feelings for her and it makes him jealous. So makes a demand that they both have to stay away from the spoiled princess Helen. But things quickly change when they have to spend time together and they each discover that what is shown to the public is not what is on the inside.

This book is a rollercoaster of emotions. Love and hate go hand in hand. I highly recommend it and I don’t want to spoil it for anyone but I was kind of sad when I got the Epilogue. I’m a sucker for finding your person/people and Helen, Patrolus and Achilles have definitely found each other. They are perfect together and they love each other so much. So, why do you need to sleep with someone else? I just don’t get it, but I’m also wondering if we got this little bonus, to prepare us for the next book or what is coming in the series. My mind is spinning lol.

I received this ARC for my honest review and opinion. I definitely give this book 5 stars. If you haven’t started this series, what are you waiting for?

Perfect for those of you looking for something in that elusive subgenre- m/m/f romance set in an American Gladiators/ Hunger Games arena. Hard to find, I understand.

Although part of a series, you do not need to read the previous titles, nor do you need to know much about Greek mythology to enjoy. And for this title, it's probably best you don't as you'll be rather upset that KR chose Helen instead of Briseis as the female in this triad.

Katee Robert definitely upped the ante with this retelling of Helen of Troy and the story of Achilles and Patroclus! The poly-relationship was definitely well done as it felt organic and definitely fun.

The biggest issue I had with Electric Idol was the flimsy plot behind all the showmance and that was definitely not the case here. First there was a plot! Second it was a darn good one with the elements of trials and competition feeling like we were back in a battlefield. It was great to see the geek mythos come out in this modern retelling and had me speeding through the book to make sure I could find out what happened next! It also felt realistic enough that it didn’t feel out of place in such a modern retelling.

Definitely another great piece from Katee Robert and I look forward to the next one! Thank you to Netgalley for the advanced copy of Wicked Beauty in exchange for an honest review!
