I’m a big fan of Helena’s books and this was no different. Sweet, steamy, sexy & swoony - so fun & I loved it!

I adored this book! This author shows once again why she’s a favorite. This slow burn romance between London and Jackson was everything I wanted. I loved the banter and chemistry. I loved revisiting one of my favorite worlds of 2021. I highly recommend this one!

I'll be honest, I am not a big romance reader right now. I have been finding them a bit too fluffy and annoying.

This book doesn't fit that description at all. I know that it's the sequel to a book, but I haven't read the first book. Which is a good and bad thing -- I may not have hated Avery if I had read her book. But even as an eldest child, I found her sooooo annoying.

London and Jackson's relationship evolves fairly organically. The conflicts that keep them apart are natural and less contrived than most romance books. There is miscommunication, but it's actual miscommunication and not just the two MCs not asking for clarification.

I don't think the Jackson chapters are necessary though.

OK this is what I’m talking about. I wasn’t a huge fan of book 1 but this one - this one is for the win.

I absolutely loved London and Jackson. She was such a great sister. She devoted her time to their business despite it not being her dream job. Her love for her sisters is something to strive to achieve. The way she was spread thin was hard to read, but I loved the way she stood up for herself when the time came for it. Now let’s talk about Jackson for a bit. I loved him from the beginning. He was charming and funny, and was so infatuated with London. But the more time they spent together I could just feel he wasn’t completely honest with her. And here's where it got a bit tricky for me. When the whole truth blew up in his face, I was so angry with him.
I could understand how he reasoned his actions but still… if this was real life and I was in her shoes I don’t think I could forget about it. But fortunately, this is all fiction and I could appreciate how the ending turned out. He did love her and wanted nothing more than to stand in her presence and let her shine.

Now I’m ready to see who will catch the eye of the youngest sister. I have a feeling Helena Hunting is saving the best for last.

This was very enjoyable. This is the second in a series, this time featuring London and her romance with Jackson Holt. Avery, her sister who was featured in the first book, is mentioned but I don't think you need to read the first book to appreciate this story.

Spark House is a boutique hotel and event space in Colorado and the Spark sisters are the third generation to run the hotel. They do their best to be eco-friendly and this attracts the attention of Jackson Holt, a millionaire, who wants to team the Spark's up with other companies that do the same and then sparks fly (see what I did there) between Jackson and London. I really liked the characters and the dynamics between London and her sisters. Jackson of course was gorgeous. The hotel sounded like a place I'd want to stay and the area of Colorado was depicted well.

I would like to thank Netgalley and St. Martin's Press for providing me with a digital copy.

I love a good romance. The chemistry between Jackson and London flew off the pages and made me giddy!

I think the author did a great job of letting the readers into both characters minds. I loved how vulnerable they were able to be with each other and that we as readers could see that.

I loved getting both points of view and was one of my favorite parts of the story, besides the setting. I never have been to London but I love reading books set there.

The steam was great as well.

Funny, romantic, swoony, and heartfelt! I really enjoyed this continuation of the Spark House series. London was such a relatable character! Her anxiety with phone calls and presentations and overcommitment at work makes her seem real and is something we all experience. Jackson is super swoony and I enjoyed how their relationship came together. I loved the relationship between the sisters and am excited to see how the series concludes. Thank you so much to Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC!

I loved the first book in this series so was very excited to get a hold of this one and read about London. The romance was wonderful. It started off as an instant attraction, a parting of ways and then fate bringing it all back. Slow burn, which is EXACTLY what I love.

There was a good mix of both the businesses thrown in, relationships with siblings, past baggage and romance. Helena has a great way of developing characters andI'm excited to read the third!

4.5 ⭐️ engaging, emotional love story

We return to Spark House and the three sisters who run it with Starry-eyed love. This book features the sister London. Helena puts a welcome ‘spark’ of realism into this story with love in the office place.
I especially like the start of the book with the attempted pick-up in the bar that Jackson didn’t close; London shut him down only to encounter him in a business opportunity three months later. As the story continues, it features the ongoing struggle that Jackson has with his attraction for London but needing to maintain his distance due to their business relationship. So many books blow right through this boundary. This is much more realistic and welcomed.
Both London and Jackson have past relationship issues that make forming long term relationships difficult. London is always giving to her family, not taking time for herself. The story deals well with the emotional issues stemming from their past making it engaging to read. Helena doesn’t skimp on the emotion, laughter and tears. Lastly the sisters have to deal with an exponentially growing business, need to have their own personal time and outside interests. Overall this story packs a wallop, that will have you laughing and then crying. I love 💕 this book.

a delightful romance novel that combines love, family, and the power of second chances. Set in the mesmerizing world of the Spark House, this book takes readers on a journey filled with passion, unexpected twists, and heartfelt moments. Helena has a remarkable talent for crafting well-rounded characters, and Starry-Eyed Love is no exception. London is a relatable and strong-willed protagonist who finds herself torn between her love for the Spark House and her growing affection for Jackson. Jackson, on the other hand, is a complex character with layers of vulnerability that slowly unravel throughout the story. One of the highlights of this book is the author's ability to create a palpable sense of chemistry between the main characters. The romance between London and Jackson is filled with sizzling tension and tender moments, making their love story truly irresistible.

In addition to the captivating plot, the audiobook narration by Jason Clarke and Stella Bloom adds an extra layer of depth and emotion. Both narrators beautifully capture the essence of the characters, bringing their voices to life and immersing listeners into the story.

I wasn't a huge fan of the first book in this series, but I thought I'd give book number 2 a fair chance. However, I wasn't a fan of London or her story just like I struggled with Avery's love story in book one. I seem to like most of Hunting's other books that I've read, but this series (and the Spark sisters) just don't seem to be my cup of tea.

I went into this book ready to love it. I love sibling relationships in books and I love complex romances. unfortunately, I just couldn't really buy into the romance. I liked the characters as individuals, but not as a couple. Honestly, I felt like a lot of the romance was overshadowed by all of the family drama that was happening. Lastly, I think I just wasn't in the right mood to read this one. I kept trying to get into it and was never able to fully dive into the story.

This book was just sadly not for me! I was hoping for something different but it turned out to be something I was not expecting, which is okay and I'm sure someone else would love it!

London Spark and her sisters are enjoying a night out when an extremely attractive man pays for their food and drinks and gives her his number. Since she just broke up with her boyfriend, she refuses the offer. However 3 months later, Spark House is given an opportunity to partner with a large firm. London handles presentations, and at this meeting, handsome Jackson Holt, CEO, sees her, and decides to join the meeting. Of course, he is the man she refused months earlier.
The attraction between the two is undeniable, but Jackson is trying to keep it professional. However, he slips and from then on, they can't stay apart. Yet, London believes he is holding something back, plus she has loads of responsibility at Spark House that she doesn't know if she can manage it all.. Everything comes to a head when a woman that he had a relationship with tells him that she was hoping for more. London doesn't want to be the other woman, so she needs to leave.
Will they be able to find their way back to each other, and to be honest with each other?
Another Spark House romance - now the 2nd sister has her chance at love. This is another sweet romance, with some steamy love scenes, and emotions flying high. I enjoyed it and am looking forward to sister #3 getting her chance!

I really enjoyed the second book in the Spark House series, London and Jackson were the perfect match. They're love story wasn't easy, they both had to face their fears before they were able to be truly happy, but they knew it was worth it for a future together. Would highly recommend.

This is the second book in the Spark House series, but it can be read as a standalone. I wish I had known this when I agreed to read it, because now I am working my way backwards as I am eager to read the first.

This book is about London Spark, and her love interest Jackson Hoyt, a charming and handsome CEO who is so likable that you don’t expect it. London first meets Jackson at a local bar and yes, pun intended Sparks fly! Yet that is where it ends, that is until London is seeking a partner for her business. I would say this is more a slow-burn romance as it does take a while for them to work through their hesitation. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I am looking forward to going back and then forward reading about the other Spark sisters.

Thank you to St. Martin’s Press, Helena Hunting, and NetGalley for an ARC of this book.
