I enjoyed and adored this book very much. The second book in the Spark House series focuses on middle sister, London. I liked London (actually I like all three sisters), I liked her story and her new romantic interest, Jackson. Their romance started slow but it was sweet, charming, and oh so steamy! There was some tension about running Spark House between the sisters, as I'm sure is the case with most sisters, but I liked how they opened up and talked about their issues and got things resolved. This book was a delightful and fun read. A wonderful book to curl up with inside on a hot summer day! I am looking forward to Book 3 in this series.

Thank you to St. Martin's Press and NetGalley for the review copy.

If you like slow burns you will love this one!! Overall I really enjoyed this book! The beginning started a bit slow for me but by the middle I was having a hard time putting the book down. To be fair I don’t think a lot of people will feel this way. It was more than likely me because my attention span wasn’t what it normally is while reading this one. I loved London and Jackson! There was no long drawn out unnecessary drama to slow the book down. By the time I got to the end of this book I wasn’t ready for it to end! I can’t wait for the next book!

Received an arc for a honest opinion.

I had a little bit of trouble getting into this book at first, but once I did, I couldn’t stop devouring it!

I loved how London stayed true to herself in her relationship. She was cautious and trusted herself above all else. Her devotion and loyalty to her family is inspiring. London’s work ethic is incredible but knowing her limitations is even more important. Setting those boundaries and then enforcing them is both very hard and very crucial to avoid burnout.

The relationship between London and Jackson has it’s ups and downs, but overall I felt that the relationship between the two was strong and healthy. Misunderstandings and miscommunication can happen with everyone. I loved the happy ending!

Helena Hunting did a great job at writing a book that you don’t want to put down. I love series that relate to each other but that you can also read each one as a standalone. Even though this is book 2, I haven’t read book 1, and I had no issues following along.

Thank you @helenahunting and @netgalley for a copy of this amazing book!

I enjoyed the first book in the Spark House series but this one didn’t do much for me. It was written fine but I do not enjoy workplace romances with economic disparities, billionaire heroes, and the jealous evil ex trope, and this book had all three. I did read the whole thing, mostly so I can be up to speed when the next book comes out. While the book had a few cute moments, there was nothing remarkable about the book or anything that felt new or different. There’s nothing wrong with that, some books are just 3 star reads. I could write more about it, but it’s not worth the time that would take.

Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for the ARC.

I really enjoyed this second book in the series, focused on middle sister London. Her and Jackson's story was great billionaire/workplace romance. Neither of them has had good luck in relationships, and as they get to know each other, they discover things they have in common and how much they enjoy each other's company.
London's relationships with her sisters play a major role in the book, as does the running of Spark House, their event hotel.
I found this book lighter than the first in the series, and I rooted for the couple because I thought they were a great match. It was a quick and interesting read.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Love doesn’t always work out the way we plan. It certainly hasn’t for the middle Spark sister London. When Jackson Holt pops into her life just days after a breakup she doesn’t quite know what to make of the butterflies the man evokes. Not ready to take that leap she thanks him for the interest but ultimately turns him down. Fate however is determined to bring them back together when both companies team up for a project.

I really enjoyed this second installment. The writing style keeps you engaged and the conflict was far better handled in this installment. The cast of characters personalities were much smoother and believable. I found it to be more self aware in the way the supporting characters interact with London and Jackson. There are a couple different conflicts going on along with London and Jackson’s story but it does not take away from the main plot line. A really charming, read.

London Spark meets a hot guy while out with her sisters one night. much to her dismay. She's just broken up with one man. She's not in the mood to start up with another.
CEO, Jackson Holt can't forget the woman he tried to ask out 3 months ago. What luck to realize the boutique hotel he is attempting to acquire belongs to her! He's determined to make this new business venture work, in more ways than one.
This charming love story has all the feels, and all of the love.
Don't miss it!

The first book in this series was not my favorite, and I was hoping this would be better. It was fine. These characters were boring to me and I felt no connection to them at all. I think really what I like in this series is Spark House and that's it. I'll probably read the next book just to finish it out, but won't rush to get it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Starry-Eyed Love by Helena Hunting is swoon and sweetness all the way! This adorable love story would make you smile and fall deep for Jackson and London. The hero may be a billionaire businessman but his most valuable property is definitely his heart. And London is the perfect mix of sweet and sass.

London Spark has a full plate. Running their family owned boutique hotel Spark House with her sister and her own Etsy shop. They get this exciting chance to get into a big initiative by Holt Media and she goes for the meeting. She didn't expect the CEO to step in the meeting and she definitely didn't expect him to be the stranger she turned down few months back in a restaurant. Now Jackson is still fascinated with her. But they are working closely together and his life is focus of media attention a lot. Can London give him a chance?

Jackson Holt is impossible to resist. He is a smart and fair businesses with a passion for saving environment. Kind. Charming. Caring. He has a dazzling charisma that cannot be ignored. He wanted to pursue London and wanted to use own connections to help Spark House flourish but he never used it as an advantage. He did all the courting and wooing and I applaud London's resistance power. She is beautiful and creative and has a big heart. She has qualities those make her relatable. How the dual pressure of the family business and her passion about craft are taking a toll on her. How she wants to give Jackson a chance but scared of getting hurt. It had an easy pace where they slowly get to know each other and builds a solid friendship and then slowly fall in love. The story has parts those created tension and heartbreak between them and those only amplified their connection. What i loved most about Jackson is his respect and admiration for London's work and talent. They come from two different world but they perfectly fit each other.

Another great addition to the Spark sisters series! I love Helena's books. I know when ever I am reading one of her books it allows me the opportunity to step right inside a wonderful and carefree world. I literally can lose myself in this series. Thank you so much to #NetGalley and the publisher for the arc.

I enjoy Helena's writing style typically - in fact, I don't have a problem with how this is written - however, this book isn't for me. I cannot stand the LI. His actions came off as oblivious in regards to the difference in his lifestyle to others and his manner completely overbearing. I really don't want London to fall in love with him and as it's not a love triangle, I'm pretty sure I'll be disappointed. Otherwise, I love the sibling dynamic and London's potential journey to occupational satisfaction.
The narrators, Jason Clarke & Stella Bloom, are well suited to the genre and I would enjoy listening to them again.

Disclaimer: I did not finish this book.

I was sent a widget of this from the publisher and I really wanted to like it. I think maybe I am unable to get through this because I just finished another rom-com and it’s just not my typical read. It’s just so… cliche for me. I think there will be a ton of readers for this particular novel, because it is what it claims to be. A typical romance. It’s just not for me at this time.

2.5 stars

I somehow knew I wasn't going to be a fan of this one mostly because an "eco/warrior friendly billionaire" with a private jet is an hilarious concept.
That mixed with my least favorite trope "miscommunication" I just... I skimmed a lot and that tells you how much I enjoyed this one.
And yes our heroine was relatable with her social anxiety issues but it wasn't enough for me.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for the chance to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

This second in the series was really good. The series revolves around three sisters who are running a small hotel for events. The sisters really love each other, but there is definitely some tension there. There is wedding planning going on for one sister, a side business for another.

London is fresh out of a relationship the first time she and Jackson meet and she turns him down. Now, she is in his business pitching a plan. He's really big in business and she's a small fry. Could his interest in her be sincere? With them it's two steps forward and one step back.

The back and forth of these two was sometimes painful (get together already!!!), but Hunting makes it so worth our while. A truly scrumptious romance including family, hidden details, lavish dates, miscommunication, forgiveness and love.

Thanks to St. Martins Press and NetGalley for the gifted copy. All thoughts are my own.

This the second book in the Spark House series, following When Sparks Fly which I had the opportunity to read last Summer. I was overjoyed to receive a widget to the follow-up novel and was not disappointed. You don’t have to read these books in order, but there are little references to the first one sprinkled throughout as this one follows a different Spark sister. I am sure there will be a third installment to explore Harley’s eventual happily ever after.
.
London is a captivating character and Jackson is a likable love interest. It felt a little unauthentic how quickly he went out of his way to help her and trusted her to not be going after his money, but their relationship is steamy, fun, and London is quick to fight the stereotype that she needs a man to rescue her from anything. I did think that Avery’s character takes a bit of nosedive in this book, but push through for her redemption arc that pays off in spades.

Helena Hunting’s Spark House series has prompted me to go into a spiral reading romance novels. Her first Spark House novel, When Sparks Fly, introduced us to three sisters working together to elevate their family’s B&B. While the first novel centered around older sister Avery, it gave us a little peak at her sister’s London and Harley.

Starry-Eyed Love picks up after When Sparks Fly, but focuses on middle sister London who I particularly loved from the beginning of the series. As a middle sister myself, I automatically related to London, but even more so as a peacekeeper and organizer who tends to keep her emotions to herself so as not to burden anyone else. London keeps people (particularly men) at bay because she’s afraid of being vulnerable, so when a handsome guy asks her out at a bar, she naturally turns him down even though she’s interested.

In true romance novel form, London is shocked to find that the guy from the bar is the CEO of a company she’s pitching to work with to elevate her family’s B&B. Determined to keep things professional, London and Jackson proceed to work closely together and end up on several adorable “non-dates,” getting coffees, going to estate sales and building their bond overall.

Once again, Helena Hunting hits me with the Hallmark spirit – pleasantly cheesy. Similar to the first novel, she touches on deeper topics like grief, death and illness, but ties it together in a way that’s still light and fun to read. Without giving away any spoilers from the first book, I also really loved the subplots that are carried through with Avery and Declan’s relationship and how those events are woven into London and Jackson’s story. I can’t wait to see how Helena Hunting continues the series with Harley’s story!

Starry-eyed Love is the second installment of the Spark House series and features London Spark, the middle Sparks sister.

For any reader with siblings, it is easy to identify the roles each of the Spark sisters adopt (as all siblings do!) Avery is the organiser, Haley is the nurturer and London...well London has various roles but she is mainly the peace keeper and the Jack-of-all trades, doing what needs to be done!

There are many things she could otherwise be doing but being part of their family legacy and business is very important to her. When Jackson enters London's life, he shows her a perspective that she has missed.

I loved London and Jackson together. I loved the impact they had on each other. Not just on the day to day of their lives, but in the way their personalities sparked to life.

I was awed by the love the sisters had for each other and in how they had each others' backs...even when it was tough to do so.

This was a real page turner that was difficult to put down. The story easily captured my imagination and I was cheering and hissing in all the appropriate places before getting my HEA...sorry London and Jackson's HEA.

I look forward to revisiting Spark House in the future.

If you’re looking for a fun, we’ll written romance, then Helena Hunting is perfect. And so is Starry-Eyed Love. I can always count on a well written, fun romance when I pick up one of her books. The characters are likable and often relatable in many ways. You can never go wrong with Helena!!

Captivating, charming, and romantic!

Starry-Eyed Love is a cosy, heartwarming tale that takes you into the life of the ambitious, overworked London Sparks as she juggles her job as an administrator for the family business, her Etsy store that’s her true passion, a sister who’s determined and extremely stubborn, and a new partnership with a handsome CEO who she unfortunately happened to turn down once and is entirely too irresistible for his own good.

The writing is warm and tender. The characters are professional, genuine, and considerate. And the plot is an enchanting, push-pull tale of life, love, drama, friendship, self-discovery, familial dynamics, miscommunication, jealousy, dreams, goals, secrets, and finding a positive work-life balance.

Starry-Eyed Love is the second title in a series that, for me, just keeps getting better and better. It’s an amusing, sweet, adorable read by Hunting with characters I couldn’t help but root for and a swoon-worthy ending that left me smitten, satisfied, and ecstatic that there’s Harley’s story still to come!

London Spark and her two sisters own Spark House, a hotel that hosts fantastic events. After breaking up with her boyfriend, her sisters and her head out for some drinks. When a smooth-talking, sexy man hits on her, she hands back his number, but Jackson Holt is not to be deterred and tells her basically, if it’s meant to be, the universe will bring them back together…

And of course, it does.

Jackson’s company hires London to hose an event, and when Jackson sees her, he can’t get her out of his head. I loved his love of her. He was confident and treated her with such tenderness. This is a story where the two characters try to keep the relationship profession, but I never felt frustrated at them. I appreciated the flow of the story and the timing of when they get together.

I also really enjoyed London’s sisters, which has me thinking, I definitely need to go back and read book 1 in this series now!

I would recommend this one for romance readers that enjoy an easy-sweet romance!
