I loved this book! It was even better than the first in the series. I really enjoyed the main characters as well as the plot. I was able to read this quickly and did not want to put it down.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGallley for a copy to honestly review.

A complimentary copy of this book was provided by NetGalley for my honest review and opinion. Helena Hunting brings another sega to the sister love search. Jackson and London are not able to escape the pull of love when working together so they must fight to not mix business with romance.

I really liked When Sparks Fly so I was excited to read this second book in the Spark House series. This was an enjoyable workplace romance that kind of is a bit of friends-to-lovers. The chemistry between Jackson and London from that first time they meet is undeniable. I was so excited to see their journey together after reading that scene! And then when they finally decided to take the plunge into a relationship, it was like fireworks.

I thought that star theme throughout the book was super cute. I used to make those puffy stars out of paper when I was little so it made me a feel a little nostalgic.

I hope to see a story for the third sister, Harley, soon!

Book 2 of the Spark sisters kicks off with a fun, flirty meet cute. Little do we know what’s down the road for the adorably scruffy Jackson and serious London (who’s finally being fun!). The instant chemistry between London and Jackson, the way he deviates from his no-nonsense business mindset to woo and pursue her had me with hearts in my eyes the entire time. The story is well rounded with the build up of tension between the sisters over their shared business endeavor as well as the hang ups that both London and Jackson must overcome in order to be together. And the cameo’s of other characters in this universe always bring me joy. The mix of humor, heartache and heat is *chef’s kiss* perfection. I voluntarily read an Advance Reader Copy for the purpose of review. All opinions are my own.

Cute Rom-Com with a few twists. The characters were likable and relatable. I would recommend this book.

This book has it all - emotions, a strong heroine, a hero we'd all love to know, and a story that hits every single mark! I knew this one would be a winner because the amazing Helena Hunting wrote it but I didn't realize how deeply I'd fall in love with it. This is the PERFECT read!

Such an amazing book!! London Spark & Jackson Holt are a great couple that you will love reading about, you won’t want the book to end. It’s got one of the best lines too!! “I feel like it should rain glitter every time Jackson enters a room.”. This book has wonderful characters, will pull on your heartstrings, make you laugh, has all the feels!! Helena Hunting is an incredible author that never disappoints!! A definite must read!! I received an arc from Netgalley & publisher for an honest review.

2nd installment of the Spark House series has London Spark, business administrator for Spark House, meeting her dream man in media mogul, Jackson Holt, while working on charity events to bring Spark House some much needed exposure. Both know that mixing business with pleasure can have disastrous results.
I really enjoyed reading this book and seeing how they navigate these tricky waters.

This was a great second book in this series about Spark House. The three sisters are doing fantastic things here and are learning to adapt with their amazing business growth. London's new relationship has them growing at a record pace. London is burning the candle at both ends though with Spark House, her Etsy shop and her new relationship. Something has to give. And of course Jackson has a few skeletons in his closet. Great romance read!

I was able to read "Starry-Eyed Love" by Helena Hunting on NetGalley. It is the second book in the Spark House series and I have not yet read the first book, but I didn't feel like I was missing anything jumping in with the second book. I enjoyed reading this book. I loved the characters and felt that London's story was well-developed. I'm assuming that the first book is about Avery, another Spark sister. And I plan on reading that one as well now!

London Spark works with her sisters at their hotel, Spark House. When an opportunity arises to work with Jackson Holt in one of his initiatives, London accepts. As they work together, sparks fly.

Since I haven't read the first one, I'm so glad this is a standalone novel. It doesn't take away from the character or the story, and readers get enough of a background of the Spark sisters. I enjoyed all the characters and drama.

The way Jackson and London flirt together with their use of Google docs was adorable and made me so happy. It was a unique and modern love story that kept me reading. I especially enjoyed the Spark sisters and how they felt very realistic as a family unit. Each of their interactions made me think of my own sisters.

I loved how this romance began and continued. London was shown the celebrity lifestyle, both the ups and downs. There was a slight miscommunication trope, but it was fine for me to read because it was more of omitting information rather than actual miscommunications.

I can't wait to read more of the Spark sisters' stories!

This was so sweet! I liked it way more than the first Spark House installment - I think because I related more to London than I ever did to Avery. Hunting's signature charm and banter is present throughout this and I love how side characters from her other series appear. Overall a charming romance novel.

***ARC received from St Martins Griffin and NetGalley in exchange for honest review, opinions are all my own. Thank you!***

This is the first book that I have read by Helena Hunting so I wasn’t really sure what to expect. I was happy with what I read. Starry-Eyed Love is the second book in the Spark House series and while I didn’t read the first book I did not feel that it was necessary to enjoy this house. The first book was older sister Avery’s story and while there are things that may be necessary to understand her story you don’t need to read it as this book focuses on London and Avery’s story line is the secondary background story.

London and Jackson first meeting is full of sparks even if both are not in a place to start a new romance. Thankfully we don’t have to wait very long for the reunion. A large company reaches out to Spark House regarding a new initiative that while brought up a few times and explained by Jackson and London I still only vaguely understand how it works. Not really important but when the book talk more about Jackson and his companies views I did begin to lose interest. I know its plot point but this is more of a character driven story and the work dynamics with Spark House are far more interesting and fleshed out than what is going on with Jackson’s company.

The romance is a bit of a slow burn despite their attraction to each other they do work very hard to keep it mostly professional while London is working directly with Jackson. Once they are no longer working together things burn hot and fast. Both London and Jackson are likable characters, I particularly liked London and how she struggled with her insecurities, trying to find a work life balance and the fears that she has about falling so hard for Jackson.

Since this is a romance book there has to be some form of conflict that potentially keeps our leads apart. It sets itself up as miscommunication designed specifically to generate conflict which is something I’ve always disliked but the way the author handled it I actually liked. When its all laid out the reasoning made sense I understood why they wouldn’t or felt it wasn’t really necessary to communicate this information and I appreciate that the author did make sure that it was more than just necessary to create conflict.

The book is well written, I liked the romance and the characters and want to go back to read the first book.

Thank you to St. Martin's Press and NetGalley for this advanced copy in exchange for my honest opinion. Starry-Eyed Love will be released on May 10th, 2022.

I've said this before and I will say it again, Helena Hunting is forever Hit or Miss for me. I read When Sparks Fly last year and enjoyed it for the most part...the conflict was a bit much for me and I didn't like the language London used when talking to her sister Avery. I wanted to see if I would enjoy London's story.

It was fine...nothing outrageously wrong with this book. If I am honest, I was just kind of bored. Another green millionaire CEO as a hero to save the day? Sister's fighting over the business? More business verbiage than romantic dialogue? The first 1/3 of the book was such a slog that by the time we got to the romance, I wasn't invested in the characters or the story. They were sweet together, I will give them that. But I think overall I need an HH break.

There is something enchanting about the way this author writes this series and specifically this book. There’s a fairytale element that makes Jackson and London feel magical and enchanting with a story that brings to life a Taylor Swift love song. It was so easy to get swept up in these pages and get lost in the author's words.

I enjoyed how delicious the author made tension between Jackson and London. She made the mundane work days filled with spark and fire because of the forbidden nature of their situation. London and Jackson embodied a true romance where emotions are intense, passionate gestures are seen through small actions, and there’s an adoration and connection to London and Jackson.

Just like every love story, there were moments I wanted to scream because they were the end game, but they let trivial actions inhibit themselves. I think if the author included more chapters from Jackson, this would have given the story more insight than just feeling like this was mainly told from London's POV. Regardless of this, I still thoroughly enjoyed this story, felt my heart ache, and I did not want to leave this world. Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin Griffin for this eARC

Starry-Eyed Love is the second book in the Spark House series, and it’s my favorite so far. It is heartwarming with the perfect touch of whimsy.

The three Spark sisters own Spark House, a boutique events hotel. I got a better feel for how special the venue is and why it means so much to their family, which is important because the business is integral to the plot.

This is London’s story, but the author continues to emphasize the sisterly bond, their distinct personalities, and the different roles each plays in the company’s success. London takes care of the finances and business administration; however, her passion is design and crafting. She tends to put others first, and her struggle to find a good work/life balance was easy to sympathize with. I especially enjoyed the interactions between the sisters and how they navigate their sometimes strained relationship.

Jackson. *sigh* The billionaire won me over by doing everything in his power to encourage London and help her succeed. You’ve got to admire a man who isn’t threatened by a strong, intelligent woman. In fact, it’s those traits that seem to make Jackson fall even harder for London, even though he does a remarkable job not crossing professional boundaries. The chemistry between them is top notch.

One conflict involving secondary characters is resolved too quickly at the end, but it didn’t dampen my enjoyment of this romantic tale. I’m looking forward to the next book.
