With a unique storyline, I enjoyed this book. There was quite a bit of graphic material that I ignored and turned the past and quite a few expletives. I tend to shy away from books that are very graphic and did not realize this one would be that way. Regardless, the story was great and kept me wondering what would happen in the end. I thought the flight was unique and the characters were developed well.

I received an ARC, of Starry-Eyed Love, by Helena Hunting. I liked the characters of London and Jackson, and all the traveling they do.

"Starry-Eyed Love" was not as enjoyable for me as the first book in the series, "When Sparks Fly". There is no one thing I can point to about the story that made it not resonate as much. There were aspects of the plot that I did not particularly care for and specific incidents in the story that I did not care for, but the plot was well-crafted, and it made sense for the characters (London and Jackson) and their situation. London and Jackson were both interesting characters, and how they met the first and second time was creative. The story has a good mix of drama, humor, and steam. I enjoyed getting to spend more time in the world of the Spark sisters, and I look forward to seeing what Ms. Hunting has in store for the third Spark sister, Harley, in a future book.

I received a copy of the e-book via NetGalley in exchange for a review.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for sending me an ARC of this book; I really enjoyed getting an early look at this new book.

Every once in a while, the perfect book comes along at the perfect time in your life and this was one of those books for me. I loved the story, the main characters, the supporting characters; heck, I just loved everything !! I don't want to give any part of the story away, so I'll just say: Go read this one. You'll be glad you did.

Enjoyed this slow burn romance! I loved these flawed characters and enjoyed their sweet story. Filled with love and lots of laughter! Great little rom com read!

I swear, with each book Helena Hunting writes, her work gets better and better...and I'm not even sure how that's possible because she's one of the most talented authors out there already! Starry-Eyed Love is a funny, emotional story involving a pseudo-office, forbidden love romance and you will absolutely fall in love with Jackson and London. I certainly did and I could not get enough of these two incredible characters! Starry-Eyed Love is a standalone read but is the second book in the Spark sisters series. There are some spoilers but you can certainly jump right in and enjoy this story without prior reading of When Sparks Fly.

I just loved London! She was creative and smart and so much fun. Her relationship with her sisters is beautiful and I love her dedication and love for her family and their business, Spark House. Jackson was delicious! This billionaire CEO is hot, sexy, smart and witty. These two have a not-so-meet-cute initially and when they come face to face the next time, sparks definitely ignite. Their relationship develops slowly as they share a business relationship first. As they spend more time together, I couldn't help falling in love right alongside them. London and Jackson's relationship took a long time to truly develop and I loved every second of their slow-burn spark. Hunting knows exactly how to build a love story and this one was perfectly executed.

With fun characters and a beautiful setting, Starry-Eyed Love is exactly what I needed. It made me laugh and it made me feel. I loved everything about it and I cannot wait for Harley's story! 5 stars

Starry Eyed Love is a bit more on the serious side of Helena Hunting's works-but not super angsty. It was a straight up, sincere romance. The story follows the next Spark sister, London, to find her life match, Jackson. The two meet but it isn't the right time. Later, they unexpectedly meet again but this time regarding a business collaboration. The two seem to have many obstacles and even a possible and very dreaded interfering other woman. How do they overcome? Is this other woman an evil nemesis or is it all a misunderstanding? You will learn all and more in this much anticipated second book in the Spark House series.

We see peeks of the other sisters as well as Declan (Avery's match in book 1 of the series). The reader will note that family tensions regarding Spark House seem even more prevalent in this book compared to book one. You will also see characters from previous books written by the author (Shacking Up series) which is a fun surprise. I will say that you absolutely do not need to read the Shacking Up books nor even the first Spark House book to follow this one-don't get me wrong, you probably will love the books but not required to follow this one at all.

Overall, Starry Eyed Love is a great read. I enjoyed the main as well as supporting characters and revisiting characters from previous books. I really like that this can be read as a complete stand alone which is often hard for an author to pull off. There wasn't any cheating and it ended in an HEA so all in all a great book to get lost in.

Starry-Eyed Love was a cute read. Here's what I loved about it:

*It was a slow burn romance with little drama.
*I loved getting to know London, the middle Spark sister. She was a nice person. All of the things she was going through with her job, hobby, and sisters could happen in real life.
*I wasn't really expecting anything from Jackson going in, but I loved his character. He was rich, but he was also a good guy who seemed really down to Earth for having so much money and notoriety.
*The way Jackson and London kept things business appropriate was cool. I liked that Hunting didn't make this book about sneaking around or keeping things quiet since Jackson and London had a highly publicized working relationship.
*I loved seeing Jackson and London's connection and attraction build throughout the work interactions they had. It made their romance even sweeter when the time came.
*I even enjoyed the drama before the HEA.

Was there anything I wasn't a fan of? Well, I guess I did think London was a little overdramatic about the drama, but I could understand her line of thinking. That was really it, though. I had a great time reading this book. It was exactly the upbeat read I needed after reading a heavily emotional book prior to it. It was a sweet contemporary. I can't wait for the next book in the series.

This is probably not the type of book I would have chosen to read from the initial description but as I was provided with a copy in order to review then here goes.

First I found that it was quite an easy read as it was well written and flowed. Interesting enough at the start with good characterisation so that my interest was raised enough to see what happened and although some of the events or reactions slightly strained my credibility overall this was a pleasant read.

I would suspect that this will find a much wider and receptive audience with a different reader profile than mine but all in all this wasn't a waste of a few hours to read and yes, enjoy.

An okay romance with predictable turns. This is the second book in the series. She has anxiety which she turned into a side business on Etsy while working with her sisters in the wedding/venue business which is green. He's an orphan whos' focused on improving the world. He asked her out she said no only no they're working together and he doesn't date colleagues. It was an okay read.

As always Helena Hunting knocks it out of the park. I loved the Spark sisters last book but I love them even more now. I absolutely can’t wait for more books in this series and I hope they come out soon!

Starry-Eyed Love is a fabulous laugh-out-loud contemporary romance by Helena Hunting. Ms. Hunting has provided readers with a well-written book populated with spectacular and sometimes quirky characters. This book is written in first person, not my favorite format, but it didn't detract from the story. London and her sisters run Spark House, the family business. Jackson is a rich businessman that meets London for a second time when she arrives at his company to give a presentation. London and Jackson's story is packed with drama, humor, sizzle, a bit of angst but it's not overwhelming...and did I mention humor? I enjoyed this book from cover to cover and look forward to my next book by Helena Hunting. This is a complete book, not a cliffhanger.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book that I received from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Thank you to St. Martin's Press for a gifted ARCE of Starry-Eyed Love by Helena Hunting. This book is available on May 10, 2022.

Rating: 4-4.5 star
Genre: Romance

Helena Hunting is one of my favorite romance authors, so I'm always thrilled to read her books. After reading Avery's story in When Sparks Fly, I was so excited to read London's story. These books can be read as standalones, but each book revolves around one sister.

I really enjoyed London and Jackson's story. It has everything you expect for Helena's Books....witty banter, a great storyline, and steam!

I would recommend this book if you enjoy:
-Witty romance stories with steam
-Standalone books that follow different characters that are connected...these books follow three sisters.

This review will be posted on our Instagram and Goodreads accounts!

The Spark sisters are a fiercely loyal, tight-knit threesome, working as a unit to manage Spark House, their ever growing destination event planning business. As they're out celebrating the "Fun London" who re-emerged following a recent breakup with her boyfriend, middle sister London is hit on by a scruffily clad, but very attractive stranger, London is not impressed, nor is she interested.

Fast forward a few months to when a multinational company shows interest in partnering with Spark House on a new green initiative that could significantly increase their visibility and their bottom line. The Spark sisters agree that London should be in charge of landing this deal. As she's nearing the end of what London is confident has been a successful presentation to Holt Media, she is interrupted by the CEO himself, Jackson Holt who happens to be the attractive but scruffily clad stranger she'd rebuffed. Only now he looks like a CEO instead of a homeless bum.

Over the next couple of months the two are thrown together often but Jackson is determined to keep their relationship strictly professional until after the launch of the green deal, despite his desire to do otherwise. London is thrown off guard by Jackson's apparent change of heart and when parts of his past come to light she begins to doubt his sincerity. Her disappointment is magnified by the demands of Spark House and soon London begins to doubt her place on both fronts.

"Starry-Eyed Love" is Helena Hunting's second book in the Spark House trilogy. I love the imperfections of her characters with their fresh dialogue and captivating personalities. Her original plots range from lighthearted fun to emotional pulls that leave you wanting more and I'm looking forward to reading Harley's story too. I do however wonder at a few instances where Hunting seems to have difficulty with the correct usage of I, me, my and myself. These are elementary and I'm surprised to see them confused by an author of Hunting's caliber. Four stars.

The expected publication date of "Starry-Eyed Love" is May 10, 2022 so check with your favorite bookseller and reserve your copy. My thanks to Net Galley and St. Martin's Griffin for providing me with an Advance Readers Copy (ARC). I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I absolutely loved this book! I’m really loving the Spark sisters!

I love London and Jackson! They have both lost so much, but have such big hearts. They’ve both been closed off and didn’t realize it.

London struggles with relationships. Her sisters inform her she’s “fun” London when she’s not dating and she’s “serious” London when she’s in a relationship. She needs to learn to find a balance. Or does she just need to find the right man?

Jackson is a workaholic. He is a very private man. But once he sets his eyes on London things start to change for him. Can he find the balance he needs to make things work for London and him?

I fell in love with London and Jackson. They are perfect for each other. I loved watching their relationship grow even through the hurdles standing in their way. I cannot wait to read Harley’s story!!!

Starry-Eyed Love follows London, a co-owner of her family's boutique hotel, as they are courted by a large company looking to partner with them on a green initiative. The CEO of the company is a man who asked London out in a bar months ago, who she turned down. Neither of them know about the other's involvement until a pitch meeting, at which point sparks immediately fly. While Jackson's company is courting London's hotel, Jackson begins courting London.
Together, they explore work-life balance and learn to open up to the things that make them happy. Starry-Eyed Love is sweet, and funny, and sometimes a little heartbreaking. I wasn't entirely drawn in by the voice, but I loved the characters and the plot!

I requested to read and review this book for free from St. Martin Publishing Company. This story about three sisters who love one another and have a business together. But also need to learn to have time for themselves. Because sometimes when you aren't looking for love that's when it your paying attention find it. London and Jackson meet at a time that wasn't right. But life has given them a second chance. Can they make it work? Or they really good together? This storyline has drama, romance, suspense and some mystery thrown in! Can long distance relationship actually work. And is honesty the best policy no matter what. This book is for a mature reader and can be ready anywhere! Be prepared this book will make you swoon and sigh with happiness and frustration! But in the end its worth it I think!!

This is a sweetly romantic tale with a slow build.

London Spark is my new favorite Spark sister, although the little sister, Harlow, may be running a close second. Harlow's story seems like it could be fun, but back to London, she's quirky and full of energy, has a mind set for business and is dedicated to her family. Her passion and dedication knows no bounds, except maybe when it comes to dating. When an attractive man approaches her in a bar, literally days after her last failed relationship, she lets him down easy, or what she thought was easy, by not accepting his phone number and saying thanks, but no thanks. She never thought she'd see him again, especially when she's presenting to a new media company and he's the billionaire that runs it.

Jackson Holt is the head of Holt Media. He's also the guy who was turned down by London a few months ago. Granted he looked like a homeless man at the time, but he had a very good reason for his glam-down look. He'd just been camping and had a full beard and was not in a suit, but seeing her again still had the same effect on him that he'd had back then which had pretty much knocked him off his feet. This time around is different though as they enter a working relationship and he can't jeopardize her chance by dating him.

While these two work together, there can be no hanky panky, but the chemistry is still sizzling. Once their contract is done, the gloves come off, metaphorically speaking...however, is Jackson keeping secrets that could ruin the relationship they've been building?

This book is fun, low on drama, but also a slow build for heat. A perfect contemporary romance that fits in between lots of angsty reads. I loved it. (P.S. there are some really great cameos from Helena's other books...squeeeeeee!!)

This is the second book set in the Spark House world, but can be read as a complete standalone.
